Director Zheng couldn’t help but chuckle at Fu Mingxue’s words. "Why not? We’re not machines. We still need to get some proper rest."

But then his tone shifted. "Of course, your proactive attitude toward work is excellent. The students have been pestering me, asking when you’ll be back on campus to teach their classes!"

"Thank goodness you’re here, or they would have pestered me to death. By the way, about next semester’s freshmen... how about you take them on as well?"

Since the college entrance exam was reinstated, another one was already coming up soon.

Fu Mingxue pointed at her watch. "Alright, give me the course schedule. I have to get to class soon."

Director Zheng had already prepared it.

He promptly pulled it out of his drawer.

"Here you go. Just follow the weekly schedule printed on it. As for today’s classes, I’ll have a word with the other instructors."

Fu Mingxue took the course schedule and scanned it quickly.

"Alright. I’ll head out then."

With that, she walked out.

Director Zheng also needed to go inform the other instructors. After all, since Fu Mingxue hadn’t been expected, today’s classes had been assigned to someone else.

"Director, you were looking for me?" Ji Chuhua asked, feeling apprehensive. The way the director was staring at him made his skin crawl.

"Is your wife’s name Luo Lanqing?"
