Chapter 119: Chapter 119: Eclipse Frost

....ran— around. One step. Two. Three.

An ice spear flew toward his chest, its tip gleaming with deadly intent.

He moved left, the spear passing so close he felt its cold breath on his skin.

Another came from above.

He ducked, feeling it ruffle his hair.

The dragon’s claw struck the ground where he had been standing.

Theon jumped, using the shockwave to propel himself higher.

He landed several meters away.

Then kept running.

Around the dragon. Left. Right. Behind. Then forward again.

Every few meters, Theon stopped.

Sometimes he crouched, pressing his palm to the frozen ground.

Sometimes he jumped, his eyes scanning the terrain as he changed direction completely, his movements seemingly random and chaotic.

The dragon watched him, confusion flickering in its ancient eyes.

"What are you doing?"

Theon didn’t answer.

He kept moving.

Another attack came—he dodged.

Another—he avoided it.

Another—he rolled beneath it, the ice passing inches above his head.

Each time he changed position, a faint magical mark appeared beneath the ground. Invisible beneath the ice. Silent. Undetectable.

The dragon didn’t notice it.

Theon continued, his breathing becoming heavier with each passing moment.

His body screamed with pain—the cold, the injuries, the exhaustion all combining into a symphony of agony.

But he kept moving.

One final position.

He crouched, his legs trembling with fatigue.

The dragon’s attack passed over his head, the cold wind ruffling his hair.

Theon looked up, his eyes meeting the dragon’s.

"Stop."

The dragon stared at him, something like unease flickering in its ancient gaze.

"Or I’ll kill you."

Silence.

Then the dragon laughed.

A deep, ancient laugh—the sound of glaciers cracking, of mountains shifting, of something that had existed before humanity’s first breath finding humor in the audacity of an insect.

"You?"

Its enormous head lowered, those icy eyes peering at him with amused contempt.

"A human child? Do you actually think you can kill a True Primordial Frost Dragon?"

Theon slowly stood, his legs trembling but holding.

"Physically?"

He smiled—a cold, knowing smile that didn’t reach his eyes.

"Humans are weaker than dragons."

The dragon’s eyes narrowed at what theon said

"But intelligence?"

Theon raised his hand, his fingers spread wide.

His eyes became cold—colder than the dragon’s frost, colder than the absolute zero that had frozen the forest.

"Humans have existed for far less time than dragons."

He pointed toward the ground, his gesture deliberate.

"Yet we create things that even creatures who have lived for thousands of years fail to understand."

The dragon suddenly stopped laughing.

Something beneath its feet glowed—faint at first, then brighter.

Its eyes widened.

A massive magic cycle had appeared beneath its body—complex beyond comprehension, beautiful in its deadly symmetry, ancient in its design yet innovative in its execution.

The dragon looked down, its ancient mind struggling to comprehend what it was seeing.

Then back at Theon.

"You..."

The dragon spread its wings, preparing to flee.

It attempted to fly.

Theon raised one hand, his expression cold and absolute.

"You are not going anywhere."

The magic cycle activated.

SHING!

Darkness erupted from the ground—not ordinary shadow, but something alive and hungry.

Black shadows wrapped around the dragon’s legs, their touch cold and burning at the same time.

At the same time, enormous ice vines erupted from beneath the frozen earth, their surfaces gleaming with an otherworldly light.

They wrapped around its body, tightening with each passing second.

The dragon roared, its voice shaking the heavens.

It tried to break free, its immense strength straining against the bindings.

The ice cracked and the shadows tightened.

The dragon pulled harder, its muscles bulging with ancient power.

Its wings slammed downward, desperate to escape.

BOOM!

The forest shook, trees toppling and rocks shattering.

But it remained trapped.

"Impossible."

The dragon stared at the bindings, disbelief flickering in its ancient eyes.

"Nothing in this world should be able to hold me down."

Theon walked toward it, his steps measured and deliberate despite his injuries.

"You’re right."

The dragon stared at him, its expression shifting from disbelief to something like fear.

"There shouldn’t be."

Theon raised his hand, his fingers curling into a fist.

"But when ice magic and shadow magic are combined..."

The shadows around the dragon tightened, their grip becoming absolute.

The ice spread deeper, infiltrating every crack and crevice.

The dragon felt something wrong inside its body—a wrongness that transcended physical restraint.

Its mana began to slow.

"What..."

Theon looked directly into its eyes, his gaze unwavering.

"Shadow magic doesn’t only restrain your body."

His voice was calm—terrifyingly calm.

"It interferes with your mana circulation."

The dragon’s expression changed, understanding dawning.

Theon continued, his voice carrying the weight of absolute certainty.

"It slips through your magical pathways and disrupts the flow of energy inside your body."

The shadows pulsed, their dark tendrils reaching deeper.

The dragon attempted to gather mana, to mount a counterattack, to do something.

Its mana flow became unstable, the energy stuttering and failing like a heart on the verge of stopping.

"And then the ice takes over."

Frost spread across the dragon’s scales, creeping into the cracks and fissures.

"It suppresses the disrupted mana."

The dragon’s breathing became heavier, its enormous body struggling against the inevitable.

"Slowing it...."

Theon raised his second hand, his fingers spreading wide.

"....Freezing it."

The ice vines tightened, their grip becoming absolute.

"Until your own power becomes difficult to control."

The dragon’s eyes widened, true fear flickering in their depths.

"This..."

Theon looked at the magic cycle beneath it, his expression unreadable.

"This is Eclipse Frost."

The dragon struggled again, its immense body straining against the impossible bindings.

The ground shook, cracks spreading across the frozen earth.

But the combination of shadow and ice held it firmly—a prison not of bars, but of fundamental forces working in perfect harmony.

Theon continued, his voice carrying the weight of a teacher explaining a fundamental truth.

"Shadow magic interferes with your mana and that interference creates instability while ice suppresses that instability."

"And when both forces are fused together..."

His mana surged and the air around him crackling with power.

"...they don’t simply add to each other."

The surrounding air trembled, reality itself bending under the weight of what was being unleashed.

"They amplify each other."

The dragon stared at the child standing before it—this impossible, incomprehensible creature who had done what no human should be capable of.

"Impossible."

Its voice was barely a whisper.

"A child cannot..."

Then theon raised the second hand above him, magic circles began appearing.

One.

Ten.

Hundreds.

Thousands.

Ice magic and Shadow magic rotated together, their energies intertwining in patterns that defied comprehension.

The sky darkened more and the moon itself seemed to flee from what was about to happen.

The World Archive icon appeared before Theon’s eyes, its ancient symbols blazing with power.

[All abilities restored.]

[Full charge engaged.]

[Fusion sequence initiated.]

[Possibility of death: Ver high]

[Your funeral master]

Theon looked toward the dragon, his eyes carrying something ancient and terrible.

The magic circles began merging, their individual energies fusing into something greater.

Ice and shadow intertwined.

White frost turned black.

Black shadows became coated in silver-white ice.

A strange cold spread through the entire forest—not the cold of winter, but something deeper. Something fundamental. The cold of void, of absence, of endings.

The dragon felt it, its mana circulation slowing even further.

Theon lowered his head, his voice carrying the weight of absolute finality.

"This is the difference between ordinary ice magic..."

His eyes glowed with power—not borrowed or inherited, but earned through blood and sacrifice and unyielding will.

"...and Eclipse Frost."

The sky trembled.

The dragon struggled desperately, its ancient pride giving way to raw survival instinct.

The shadows crawled across its body, their touch leaving trails of absolute darkness.

The ice sealed them in place, creating a prison within a prison.

The dragon roared, its voice carrying defiance and terror in equal measure.

"NO!"

Theon raised his hands higher his expression unchanging.

The countless magic circles above him collapsed into one—a single point of absolute power that contained the fury of a thousand storms.

The world became silent.

Theon looked at the dragon, his voice echoing through the frozen forest.

"You wanted to know why a human child thought he could kill you."

His voice carried the weight of everything he had endured, everything he had lost, everything he had become.

"Now you know."

The dragon’s icy eyes locked onto his, understanding and acceptance flickering in their ancient depths.

Theon opened his palm, his fingers spreading wide.

"Eclipse..."

The magic above him exploded with power, the accumulated energy of thousands of circles releasing in a single, devastating moment.

"...Frost!"

BOOOOOOM!

A colossal wave of fused ice and shadow descended upon the dragon.

It wasn’t ordinary lightning—though the sky split with its fury or ordinary darkness—though it swallowed light and hope and warmth in equal measure.

It was Eclipse Frost—the fusion of two fundamental forces, each amplifying the other until they became something greater than the sum of their parts.

Millions of razor-like shards of frozen shadow formed in the air, each one carrying enough power to shatter steel.

They converged into one overwhelming...
