Unity Guns rained down onto the Major, battering him with enough energy to level an entire city itself!

The armored Demon Diva above him tried to power through with its Aubility Power, but the Unity tore through it nonetheless.

With a body full of burning holes, the Major plopped into the ground, weapon clanging right beside him.

His corpse still emitted smoke.

And for a good few seconds, the entire battlefield turned silent. The Ersatz soldiers simply couldn’t comprehend what happened.

They didn’t know where it came from.

Only a few were able to notice the brief moment that the Mini Drones dropped their invisibility to unleash their Unity Guns.

But they had never seen such a ‘creature’ before. And before they could even take a good look, the Mini Drones shimmered and disappeared from their sight.

They appeared and reappeared faster than a blink of an eye.

Meanwhile, Narito and Sasuki felt rejuvenated after seeing the Mini Drones completely destroy the Major.

They felt Michael’s reassuring and overpowered presence through those flying metal objects.

With him here, there was nothing to worry about.

The Orc Chieftains shouted to the top of their lungs, completely shocking the Ersatz soldiers.

Narito and Sasuki both descended into the ground, turning into an amorphous shadow.

They slithered through the darkness and reached the nearest battalion.

They emerged out of their shadows, knives lunging at the nearest soldier.

Startled, the soldiers tried to defend themselves.

They parried with their swords. The difference in cultivation saved them from a beheaded fate.

Angered, the soldier’s Diva emerged and empowered their entire body. An armored demon. Less endowed than the Major, but still powerful nonetheless.

They slashed at the Orc Chieftains.

But at the last second, two beams of Unity rained down behind the soldiers, staggering them forwards—perfectly in place for the Orcs’ knives.

Narito’s hand turned into a shadow as he decapitated one soldier and rushed to the other.

Despite the overwhelming difference in cultivation, Narito kept his aggressive attack.

He disappeared into a shadow, only emerging at his target’s blind spot.

The soldiers were still soldiers. They reacted swiftly, defending themselves and using their cultivation to their advantage.

But without fail, at the critical moment of their counter-attack, a Unity beam would shoot them in the back and completely leave them vulnerable to be attacked.

Narito and Sasuki distracted the soldiers. The Mini Drones readied a shot. And the Orc Chieftains took the coupe de grace.

It was a simple tactic, yet completely unguardable.

The two Orcs went on a complete rampage, killing their way through a whole battalion.

Behind them, the Elite Penumbra did the same. They turned into a shadow and ran up the ramparts and walls of the Stronghold, taking the archers in complete shock.

They fearlessly attacked. The Archers attacked.

With the difference in cultivation, even a simple punch could prove fatal for the Shadow Orcs.

Undaunted, they attacked. They knew that the Mini Drones would save them from harm.

And even if it didn’t, they were assured that their enemy would die killing them.

Thankfully, that has yet to happen.

After all, there were more than a thousand Mini Drones currently roaming the battlefield.

They were there from the very beginning. Watching. Waiting. The Shadow Orcs made the first invasion, killing as much as they could before they purposefully attracted more soldiers out of the castle and into the open grounds. All for the sole purpose of the Mini Drones having unrestricted line of sight to the most amount of targets.

And now, the entire army of the Stronghold were being torn asunder by these invisible metal machines that shot unavoidable lasers.

They had nowhere to hide. Nowhere to retreat. The castle doors and the drawbridges had been closed thanks to a handful of Orcs.

The High Orcs did their job. All three hundred members followed suit to their Chieftains, fearlessly attacking soldiers and gaining their attention.

Even without an actual Diva to protect them from harm, they surged like an insurmountable wave.

By marking their target with a shadow, the Mini Drones knew which to target. Which deserved death.

And even though they were ‘demi-human’, even though they had yet to awaken, they were able to kill Maugnetics multiple stages higher than their own.

As the fight wore on and the fight continued, the beating of drums and strumming of quills grew stronger and stronger.

The Ersatz soldiers couldn’t even hear their own heartbeats. They died, hearing the Orcs beheading them while screaming those three words.

And with thousands of Mini Drones gunning down soldier after soldier without rest, it didn’t take long before it became less of a fight, and more of a massacre.

Soldiers deserted their positions, abandoning their battalions, all in hope of escaping this hellish nightmare.

But before they could even get close to the walls, they would get shot down relentlessly.

And even if they did escape, they would get tormented by those Orc chants till they turned insane.

At this point, even the mortal Shadow Orcs joined in on the fight. They were like ants meddling in a fight against elephants.

But with the elephant prone and injured, the ants could do a hell of a job tormenting them.

The battlefield became a sea of shadows.

With no boat or island to stand on, the Ersatz soldiers drowned, becoming fodder to the growing monsters under the water.

Narito and Sasuki watched their shadows with satisfaction on their blood-stained faces.

They couldn’t believe that they triumphed against an entire army of Maugnetic soldiers with not even a single casualty.

Who would have thought?

With the powers bequeathed by their Lord Michael, they were able to achieve what no Orc has achieved before.

But this was just the start.

They would grow their shadows to the point where they could cover the entire world!

The Orcs shouted in a euphoric cry as they killed the last soldier in the battalion.
