Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito
Chapter 2888 - 29: Fifty Thousand Per Month!
"Lord Jia Yan, this is already most of what we can handle right now. Also, we’ve received intelligence that several Stellar-level existences on this planet have applied for departure. If you think it’s acceptable, we will let them go."
After conducting a three-day cleansing operation, Jia Yan received this report from his subordinates while overlooking an ocean.
Ordinary commercial forces quickly crumbled after Jia Yan personally took action a few times. These seemingly solid forces suddenly shifted direction.
Suffering losses is better than death, so they all decided to submit to Jia Yan and his followers.
As for those Stellar-level beings, to be honest, Jia Yan did not target them. However, these Stellar-level existences felt on edge on this planet, fearing that ’Jia Yan,’ the one who dared to kill anyone, would come for them.
Compared to the Galactic Level, Stellar-level existences in the Central Star Domain of the Milky Way are like small fry. If they died, hardly anyone would seek out Jia Yan, a Star River Middle Stage Strong One.
Even among them, there were a few who arrived with ’missions,’ but these tasks were not worth risking their lives over.
Intelligence gathering could be done by countless ordinary creatures on this planet, while these Stellar-level beings stayed merely to indicate that this area was once part of a ’certain’ power.
If Jia Yan wanted to kill, these Stellar-level beings, of course, had no choice but to flee in panic.
"Let them go; killing them all is not good since they have connections with external forces."
Jia Yan has become more philosophical now. Or rather, where he can be ruthless, he will be, but where it is best not to be ruthless, he handles matters rationally.
These Stellar-level existences pose no threat to Jia Yan, and killing them would only cause trouble. It’s better to let them go.
Jia Yan treated these remaining Stellar-level creatures quite kindly, allowing them to leave.
Once these Stellar-level beings left, the people from the Insect Queen’s Power on this planet exhaled with relief.
Their presence on this commercial star was evident to Jia Yan, so whether they left or not, Jia Yan knew best.
Once even Jia Yan confirmed that there were no Stellar-levels from any power other than the Insect Queen on this planet, this judgment was nearly accurate.
As for the Galactic Level, aside from the Territory Master, Jia Yan estimated there were no other Galactic Levels here.
Of course, if a high-ranking existence even above a Territory Master decided to hide beneath the surface of this planet for no reason, he’d be out of luck.
In billions of planets, there are only so many Territory Masters and Galactic-level High-rank existences. If something with odds smaller than winning the lottery a hundred times happened to him, he’d have to chalk it up to bad luck.
Of course, such an event is nearly impossible.
So after stabilizing the situation on the commercial star, the task of taking over control began gradually.
The manpower of the Insect Queen’s Power was quite ample, or one could say they weren’t very ample, but whenever they took control of a new planet, other newly acquired territories’ specialists would be drawn to assist and help take over. When they occupied the next planet, they would move again.
"Is this the intelligence you have summarized? Your actions are swift."
Jia Yan expressed surprise at the amount of intelligence in his hands.
On such a large planet, especially with such a large population, demographic statistics, economic surveys, and numerous covert force investigations were all completed in just a few days.
"Oh, so you’re saying I will gain quite a bit of advanced energy from this?"
Jia Yan looked at the intelligence submitted by a Stellar-level being, feeling slightly amazed.
It was joy; seeing that he would acquire a substantial amount of Middle Level Energy.
"More than fifty thousand units of advanced energy in a month... this is sheer profit."
Jia Yan was taken aback by the figures.
"Lord Jia Yan, you must understand, this is a central star of a galaxy. Though such production might be astounding to us, it’s rather ordinary for them."
The reporting Stellar-level suppressed a smile at Jia Yan’s astonishment, speaking while humbly bowing.
Jia Yan’s surprise only lasted a short time. Once he understood, he was no longer as shocked.
"That’s right, I do tend to overthink. Planets in the Milky Way’s center are naturally wealthier than outside ones; otherwise, what would we be doing in the Milky Way’s center?"
Jia Yan nodded and continued listening to the intelligence report.
"Very well. I’ll take my share of around fifty thousand. The rest I don’t want much of. But keep a close watch over this planet for me. If something happens, you’ll be held accountable."
The Stellar-level existence paid close attention at these words.
He knew that Jia Yan was giving him a final warning and encouragement.
"Understood, Lord Jia Yan. I will manage this planet well and ensure your share is prepared and delivered on time."
"Very good. I’ll leave then. If anything arises, I’ll return."
Jia Yan spread his wings and took off gracefully.
His departure was casual, as he effortlessly secured part of this commercial star’s benefits, akin to playing a game and gaining rewards as a Star River Level being.
However, his presence was necessary to suppress the opposing power of the planet. Previously, the Insect Queen’s Power attempted a more accommodating management strategy on another commercial star, which caused minimal harm and maximized their interests.
The problem was that the previous planet retaliated by killing a Stellar-level sent by the Insect Queen and led to the deaths of several Honored-level beings, enraging the Insect Queen, leading to massive casualties on the planet.
So on this commercial star, even the Black Sheep, usually in opposition to Jia Yan, would agree with Jia Yan’s actions to uphold their power’s benefits.
Jia Yan leaving after such a short stint felt whimsical. Had he been able to, he would’ve liked to relax and play—perhaps floating over the ocean himself while letting his avatar enjoy—but the frontlines were too tight for that luxuary.
"This Lord Jia Yan truly lives up to the legends, with astonishing power yet relatable demeanor."
The Stellar-level being watched from afar and sighed as Jia Yan entered space and instantly tore into Subspace.
A mid-tier galactic creature, no matter how many there are in the Milky Way Central, even if their power is not the most supreme, is overwhelmingly formidable to the Insect Queen’s Power. Before, outside the Insect Queen’s territory, only the Queen and the Black Sheep with a few others were Galaxy Level Powerhouses capable of posing a threat. Even the Black Sheep wouldn’t claim to be able to easily kill Jia Yan.
