Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 2862 - 16: Vast Combat Power Gap Between Enemy and Us!

  • Next Chapter

The existence of the Insect Clan Queen and other strong beings didn’t pursue the fight.

Both sides’ warriors and strong beings were surprisingly in sync, all waiting for something.

The arrival of a strong being isn’t simply adding a strength to a side, it often signifies a major shift in the battlefield.

Of course, the power of this being has yet to be proven, both sides harbored a bit of doubt and stopped fighting also out of caution or observation.

Bang.

A sudden rip appeared in the subspace.

A massive black and gold figure gradually solidified, revealing its form.

This was an immensely large Mosquito.

Compared to those tiny Mosquitoes on Earth, this Mosquito was unknown how many times larger, nearly akin to a small planet in size.

Moreover, it had long surpassed the typical Mosquito features, if the Earth people were to see it, they might not immediately recognize it as a Mosquito from Earth due to recent encounters with various extraterrestrial beings.

Though truly if an Earth person were to see this creature, surely no one would fail to recognize him; he is the ’Mosquito Ancestor,’ the guardian deity who has helped Earth navigate crises time and again and later rose to the top position in the Orion Arm, even making surrounding vast domains surrender.

He was Jia Yan.

"This starry sky is indeed bustling, even during a war there are so many commercial ships flying back and forth."

Upon emerging from subspace, Jia Yan almost collided with a flying commercial ship, which quickly gave way respectfully to avoid sinking from a collision.

Fighting reached this point, and still developing commerce here implies that if there weren’t any wars, it’d be ten times more prosperous.

Of course, if there were no wars, then being a thousand times more prosperous means nothing to the members of the Insect Clan Queen’s force if no benefits are gained from it, so... war is better.

Jia Yan didn’t intend to frighten anyone, and after checking his direction, he flew towards the Insect Clan Queen’s side of the battlefield.

Along the way, Jia Yan sensed that the starlit sky was filled with observing gazes.

Some of these gazes were from where he was heading, which were from his own side.

But there were also some gazes from a farther point beyond his own battlefield.

Those were from the enemy’s side.

Jia Yan smiled slightly, knowing full well that he’d be the strongest in this segment of the battlefield for quite a long period moving forward.

Thus, upon arrival, he couldn’t afford to show cowardice.

Facing the enemy battlefield, with a wildly distorted spatial starry sky land, he gazed over.

"Hey."

Jia Yan smiled slightly, then moved, darting into the Insect Clan Queen’s side of the battlefield.

"Whew..."

In the enemy battlefield which Jia Yan had just stared down, a soft exhale was heard.

Earlier, Jia Yan’s eyes met with a Mid-level Galaxy Existence.

"The newly arrived enemy Galaxy Level is Mid-Level Galaxy, his strength is rather common, but interestingly, his combat intent is viable; I noticed a bit of a relentless feel."

This Middle Rank Creature was indeed the closest in power to the black sheep on the enemy’s battlefield.

To him, seeing Jia Yan arrive did not suggest Jia Yan had comparable strength.

Although this existence had not fought the black sheep before, he had once battled another slightly inferior Middle Rank Creature during a war, concluding in a draw.

About the Insect Clan Queen’s strong beings, he wasn’t overly familiar with them but had a rough idea of several who might rival the black sheep; among them was not the newly arrived giant Mosquito-looking creature.

Thus he didn’t believe Jia Yan’s arrival would pose pressure on their battlefield.

Yet, he wouldn’t personally engage with the newly arrived creature.

The current circumstances between both sides weren’t suitable for another full-scale war clash.

Though it seems on the surface they could be proactive, after the last battle they have Domain Master Creatures here that were heavily wounded by the legendary Insect Clan Queen. If a war breaks out again, and their invincible Queen takes action, they wouldn’t have anyone to balance her out.

Thus, they’re gathering their strength, waiting for Domain Masters to heal, and regarding the reactions from neighboring Domain Lord Powers.

For Domain Master Creatures, especially those who’ve fought once before, power when genuinely close means once healed, who’s stronger becomes uncertain.

Especially that outsider Insect Clan Queen, although she won once and knocked down two nearby Domain Masters, if during their healing, they figure a strategy against her or have a breakthrough in strength, even a slight disadvantage may quickly flip the situation.

This is why the Insect Clan Queen is also preparing with all her might.

Because she also understands that if war erupts again, her victory isn’t guaranteed.

Furthermore, she has to beware of the two previously somewhat hostile Domain Master Existence joining forces, in which case even the Insect Clan Queen might end up in a tough spot.

"Don’t bother with this Mid-level Galaxy Existence for now—tomorrow one of you could go out and fight him, figure out his depth before making any moves."

This Strongman, nearly rivaling black sheep, remarked casually to some fellow Mid-tier Galactic Powerhouses.

"Yes."

Among those Middle Level creatures there wasn’t much fear, in fact, they seemed eager to try.

As can be seen, in this two-sided war, one side excels in strong beings being powerful, while the other excels in having a deep pool of strong beings.

On Jia Yan’s arrival side, besides him, there was only another Star River Middle Step Life, albeit quite weak. While this end, besides the one almost as strong as a Peak Mid-Tier Strongmen, hosts four or five Middle-stage galactic creatures.

Due to this strength imbalance, the sides don’t realistically engage, as the enemy fears if they reclaim lost ground swiftly it might trigger a retaliation from the black sheep or even the Insect Clan Queen, which could be disastrous for them.

Not discussing the enemy’s forces, it’s evident when Jia Yan glimpsed briefly her distorted internal encampment, where a subtly oppressive area almost stifling him resided in space before retracting his view, entering his camp.

"Jia Yan, it’s actually you who came."

"Long time no see."

Jia Yan felt as if he had entered a distorted tent upon entering this twisted camp, and was promptly greeted by several Galaxy-level existences.

Jia Yan nodded, without much arrogance.

"Everyone, thank you for fighting on the front. I hope from now on I could alleviate some of your pressure."

Before Jia Yan stood a Galaxy Middle Stage Existence, which on the surface seemed to have a similar strength to Jia Yan, hence he didn’t express undue flattery.

Of course, given Jia Yan’s prior prestige, he didn’t genuinely believe he could match Jia Yan perfectly, thus still showed a bit of respect.

While he showed this attitude, other Galaxy-level existences were more cautious.

It’s the battlefield’s front after all, and this rumored presence stood up even against the black sheep, with real proof indicating he dodged Domain Master Creatures’ hunts twice—it being easy for him to harm them if he engaged. Hence they dared not view Jia Yan as an equal.

Good, it seems they’re quite sensible here.

Jia Yan felt satisfied.

If he were the strongest here, having to follow orders wouldn’t sit well.

But upon seeing them, the Galaxy-level existences didn’t appear to want Jia Yan to follow orders, rather, they almost immediately see him as the lead.

"Alright everyone, let’s skip idle chatter. I came here on a mission, so I’ll definitely do my job well. Let’s start discussing battlefield details."
