Chapter 1440: Chapter 1439: Please Have the Principal Try Out the Technology

The metal cabinet, filled with medical supplies or teaching tools needed for classes, is where teachers or students stash things when they don’t have time to organize them.

Dean Huang Zhizhong was slightly confused, unsure of what Gu Tong was trying to do.

However.

In no time, Gu Tong had already taken out a pile of items. Although they didn’t vary much in type and style, their professional nature was evident.

Dean Huang Zhizhong himself had always been a Royal enthusiast. When he first saw these items, his eyes instinctively lit up as he exclaimed, "These are protective glasses, bullet-proof vests, shooting devices, targets, and... why is the electromagnetic wave this color..."

He couldn’t take his eyes off these items, glaring at them intensely, eagerly wanting to handle them for a thrill.

Gu Tong tossed the items onto the table and explained, "These are what I call rubber electromagnetic waves, a specially made version. They don’t hurt much when they hit the body. In the past, during our special trainee training, we used this type of electromagnetic wave. As long as you wear thicker clothing, it only stings a bit and doesn’t cause substantial harm."

Dean Huang Zhizhong widened his eyes again and said, "Special trainee training? Gu Tong, aren’t you a Royal Doctor?"

The Royal Doctors and Special Trainees were in the same Academy, but their differences were worlds apart, with completely different training contents daily.

Gu Tong raised an eyebrow, thought for a moment, and said, "I joined the military after getting married and wanted to spend more time with Devil King. So, I went to the Special Student Group. Later, Old Xue from class five took me away, otherwise I’d still be living my happy little life in class one."

Huang Zhizhong: "..." So, the rumors about you wanting to join the military were all a lie. In reality, you did it to be sweet with Devil King and became a trainee.

Oh, shattering worldviews...

Huang Zhizhong thought for a moment and said, "So, when you were a special trainee, did you learn a lot?"

If not for his poor physical fitness and the Huang Family’s generational medical practice which his family insisted on, he would have secretly enrolled as a special trainee. But he failed the first physical test, which made him abandon his Royal dream and focus on educating.

But still, he was interested in matters of the Academy; otherwise, he wouldn’t have immediately known who Devil King was upon hearing his name.

Gu Tong paused, then said, "Yeah, joined a few missions, learned a good amount of things."

"..." Envious, so envious...

Huang Zhizhong’s eyes lit up, eagerly eyeing the devices in Gu Tong’s hand, gulping as he asked, "Gu Tong, this electromagnetic wave can be reused, right?"

Reusable electromagnetic waves could be picked up and used again for classes. If they were single-use, Huang Zhizhong wouldn’t even think about touching the equipment.

With calculations running through his mind, Huang Zhizhong’s eyes darted around rapidly, desperate to get his hands on the equipment soon.

Gu Tong, aware of his thoughts, smiled and said, "The electromagnetic wave can be reused. Since we’re having this lesson, the dean should test the safety first. Could I trouble the dean to try the equipment and a shot, to see if it poses any danger? If it really does, then we can decide whether to stop the shooting class or not."
