"That’s great, being able to cook means you’ll never go hungry," Jiang Xue said with a smile, and after taking a look at the dish Wu Gang was preparing, she immediately knew what he was planning to cook.

Originally, Jiang Xue had planned to cook herself. But just as Huo Cong mentioned that they both had signature dishes, she thought she might as well taste their cooking skills.

"It’s nothing remarkable, but I’ll tell you anyway, don’t laugh, sister-in-law. My signature dishes are cold cucumbers and boiled fish slices," Huo Cong replied a bit embarrassed, feeling that cold cucumbers weren’t anything special.

Unexpectedly, Jiang Xue laughed and said, "That’s pretty good! I see Wu Gang also bought fish, does he plan on having you show off your skills too?"

"You really know me well, sister-in-law!" Wu Gang laughed. Indeed, when he bought the ingredients, that was the intention. Not only did he buy fish, but also cucumbers.

With this arrangement, he’d make three dishes and Huo Cong would make two, so there’d be five dishes in total.

"Alright then, since you both can cook, I’ll just wait to eat,"

"Yes, yes, sister-in-law, go rest. We’ll have you taste our cooking in a bit," Wu Gang said with a smile. Jiang Xue nodded and then turned to head to the living room.

Once in the living room, Jiang Xue sat for a while, then returned to her room. She had been on a plane for over ten hours and then slept for several more after arriving, which meant she hadn’t checked the space for nearly twenty hours. She wondered how her son and the others were doing.

For such a long time, she wondered if Little Fox had made something for Little Reunion to eat.

After closing the door upon returning to her room, Jiang Xue immediately entered the space. Little Reunion was ecstatic to see her come in.

Previously, when Jiang Xue was being chased, even though he was inside the space, he could feel the tension, so he was anxious for a long time. It wasn’t until Wu Gang rescued her that he finally felt at ease.

"Mom!" Little Reunion toddled over on his short legs, clung to Jiang Xue’s leg, and wouldn’t let go.

"I did!" Little Reunion nodded vigorously, then wrapped his arms around Jiang Xue’s neck.

"Are you hungry?" Jiang Xue asked again. Little Reunion nodded vigorously and then rubbed his little stomach. Although he had eaten snacks, his stomach was still not full.

"Then Mom will make you something to eat right now," Jiang Xue said with a smile, holding Little Reunion as they entered the space, then grabbing a few eggs and heading to the kitchen.

Once in the kitchen, she finally set Little Reunion down and began to steam the eggs. Fortunately, making this steamed egg custard didn’t take long, and soon it was ready.

Little Reunion wasn’t picky and started eating heartily. After the steamed egg custard, Jiang Xue also gave Little Reunion a bottle of milk.

After eating the custard and drinking the milk, Little Reunion was finally full, then leaned against Jiang Xue’s chest, drowsy.

Seeing her son sleepy, Jiang Xue couldn’t bear to put him down, so she held him as she exited the space and placed him on the bed where she’d previously slept.

Rarely being outside the space, Little Reunion slept soundly, a sweet smile on his face. Jiang Xue stayed by his side, watching his sleeping face, her heart softened.
