"But now I’m not interested in knowing anymore." Third Brother replied coldly, then instructed his men, "Take her away!"

At his command, those underlings immediately stepped forward to seize Jiang Xue. At this moment, Huo Cong moved, swinging his fist towards the men while saying, "I dare anyone to touch her!"

"Oh, a hero rescuing the damsel, huh." Third Brother smiled unkindly at Huo Cong, though the smile didn’t reach his eyes.

"Get out of the way!" Huo Cong protected Jiang Xue while trying to leave the airport. Yet, Third Brother’s subordinates remained motionless, blocking their path.

"You want to leave? Not so easily!" Third Brother glanced at Huo Cong and sneered. Initially, he hadn’t linked the two before him with the people they were instructed to capture.

However, now he suspected the two might indeed be the targets they were searching for. The reasons being, firstly, both were unfamiliar faces, and their appearance seemed too coincidental.

Secondly, Huo Cong gave him the impression of being a soldier. Yesterday, the information provided stated that Jiang Xue was accompanied by a bodyguard, a retired soldier.

Connecting the dots, it all lined up. Third Brother was convinced that Jiang Xue and Huo Cong were the people he was looking for, so he couldn’t let them escape.

"We have no enmity with each other. What exactly do you want?" Jiang Xue looked at Third Brother coldly, feeling a bit uneasy.
