"Alright, it’s settled then. You first drink a penalty glass, and then give us a bottle of red wine." Jiang Xue said with a smile, looking smug as if she had the upper hand.

Ah Lin looked on, feeling a bit embarrassed and wanting to say something on Ah Li’s behalf, but Ah Li had already picked up her glass and drank it. He watched and had to let it go, then raised his glass to Ah Li and drank as well.

"No, nothing, I’m really fine. I’m just happy, and I drank a bit more because of that. But don’t worry, I’m not drunk, I’ll be fine after washing my face." Jiang Xue reassured Mu Qiancheng as she went to the bathroom, cupped some cold water in her hands, and splashed it on her face.

With the cold water on her face, she became much more awake. Then she scooped up a large handful of water and smeared it on her face. After doing this a few times, her drunkenness completely dissipated, leaving only a slight dizziness without other discomfort.

While Jiang Xue was washing her face, Mu Qiancheng stayed on the call. It wasn’t until her voice sounded better that he relaxed a bit.

"Qiancheng, I’m sorry for making you worry, I’m really fine." After washing her face, Jiang Xue spoke much more fluently.

"Xue’er, you’re out there alone, facing danger, so drink less in the future. Of course, not drinking at all would be best."
