Chapter 1314: Drawing Aggro Value
Chapter 1314: Chapter 1314: Drawing Aggro Value
"She’s still laughing!"
"She really wants to disregard human life!"
These foolish remarks left Sophie Wilson utterly dumbfounded.
Did Henry Chapman enchant these people?
With such ability to manipulate hearts, it’s clear... Henry Chapman chose the wrong industry.
"My hospital is legal, so are you saying... that the state allowed me to open a hospital to disregard human life? Are you implying that I colluded with relevant departments, invested all this money, just to kill people?" Sophie asked amusingly.
"Even if your hospital is legally established, so what?" Henry replied with a cold sneer, "Without good doctors, it’s still harming people!"
"Delaying a patient’s condition, missing the best treatment time, that’s tantamount to murder!"
"Nowadays, the most terrifying thing is unqualified doctors harming people!" Henry’s righteous stance earned nods from those nearby, even the media journalists cast admiring looks at him.
Henry, emerging from a medical lineage, indeed has a benevolent heart and skill.
Sophie laughed, showing no signs of anger, and asked Henry: "Our hospital just opened yesterday and hasn’t received any patients yet. How did you determine that the doctors in my hospital are quacks?"
"Without investigation, there’s no right to speak. Aren’t you afraid of retribution for such baseless rumors?" Sophie’s expression turned cold as she questioned Henry; her sudden imposing presence made Henry’s heart tremble, giving rise to an inexplicable urge to retreat.
Henry clenched his fist tightly, desperately suppressing his thoughts, and forced out a sneer: "I called everyone here merely to expose your true colors, to prevent you from harming people."
"And these people?" Sophie’s amused gaze fell on the faces of those indignant people, "Did you hire them?"
"What do you mean, I hired them?" Henry’s anxiety vanished instantly upon hearing Sophie mention these people, "These are all soldiers of justice, voluntarily coming to stop you."
Henry spoke with grand passion, and Sophie merely uttered an enlightened "Oh": "So these are all people related to your Chapman family, your hospital’s old clients?"
After Sophie finished this sentence, Henry’s face darkened slightly.
Why did everything Sophie say sound so offensive?
"If you insist on thinking that way, there’s nothing I can do." Henry replied irritably.
Clearly, he thought Sophie was beyond help.
"Hmm, now I’m certain." After Sophie said this, she suddenly turned and asked a hospital staff member beside her, "Did you record it all?"
"Recorded." Sophie said this, and only then did Henry realize that the hospital staff next to them were also holding a camera, recording them all along.
"Sophie Wilson, what are you doing?" Henry asked angrily.
"You’ve been recording and taking photos of me, and I can’t record those who come here to make trouble?" Sophie asked amusedly, "That’s not how double standards work."
"Why are you filming them? Planning to retaliate later?" Henry questioned angrily, "Sophie Wilson, you better think it through, there are plenty of journalists here. It’s not as simple as doing whatever you want. Don’t think Charles Seymour can protect you!"
Henry’s words made Sophie raise her eyebrows slightly; this guy was really too skilled at attracting animosity towards himself.
