Rebirth: Clinging to My Possessive Magnate
Chapter 1308: Harming Others
Chapter 1308: Chapter 1308: Harming Others
Chloe White slammed the newspaper in her hand onto the table with a loud bang, her face turning ashen with anger.
Charles Seymour actually married Sophie Wilson, and it was at that amusement park!
The big investment in this amusement park had already attracted a lot of interest; not only were people in the Imperial City looking forward to its opening, even people from other cities were also very excited.
And this amusement park actually exists because of Sophie Wilson... How is that acceptable?
How could Charles Seymour treat Sophie Wilson like this?
Chloe was so angry she felt dizzy.
"Chloe, what’s wrong with you?" Mrs. White exclaimed, rushing over and looking at the visibly upset Chloe White, asking, "Are you feeling unwell? Do you need to see a doctor?"
"Mom, I’m fine." Chloe White tried to force a smile but couldn’t manage even the slightest one, so she could only sigh helplessly.
"Really?" Mrs. White asked, still worried.
"She’s fine; she’s just angry." Edward White came over and said, "Charles Seymour got married, invited many people, but our White Family did not receive an invitation."
Edward White knew what this meant; it meant Charles Seymour no longer wanted to maintain even a facade of politeness with their White Family.
He didn’t know who all received invitations to Charles Seymour’s wedding, but from the news of Charles Seymour getting married until today, when he read the newspaper, he only found out that Charles had already held the wedding yesterday.
However, fortunately, their White Family now had another path and didn’t need to be wary of Charles Seymour anymore.
All Charles Seymour had was the Peace Group, but they had now opened up another path.
Edward White looked at Chloe White with relief, thinking his daughter was indeed clever, knowing to make preparations ahead of time.
The White Family was relatively calm, but the Chapman Family was on the verge of going insane.
Old Mr. Chapman’s newspaper was already crumpled and torn to shreds in his hand, Felix Chapman’s face as dark as the bottom of a pot, and Henry was anxiously watching his grandfather, fearing that his grandfather’s health might not hold up and he would faint again.
"Bastard! Absolutely a bastard!" Old Mr. Chapman slammed the table, pointing at Felix Chapman, "Call Ethan Seymour and ask him how exactly he raised his son!"
Felix Chapman didn’t dare to hesitate, hurriedly dialed a number: "Ethan Seymour, why didn’t Charles Seymour invite us to his wedding?"
His mood was bad, so naturally, his tone was too.
They didn’t want to attend Charles Seymour’s wedding, but what they needed was for Charles Seymour to invite them, and then they would refuse.
It was absolutely not acceptable that Charles Seymour didn’t invite them at all!
This was outrageous!
Whatever Charles Seymour said on the phone seemed to calm Felix Chapman’s anger: "Hmm, okay, I understand."
After hanging up the phone, Felix Chapman looked at Old Mr. Chapman and said, "Charles Seymour’s wedding didn’t notify the whole of Ethan Seymour’s family either."
Henry froze, then he heard Old Mr. Chapman laugh coldly, "Charles Seymour really has grown wings, with money but no regard for kin."
"Good, very good." Old Mr. Chapman laughed in anger, "Truly Ethan Seymour’s remarkable son; fortunately, we cut ties with him long ago."
"Someone like this, with no regard even for family, surely has no good intentions running a hospital. They’re just harming people with their hospital." Old Mr. Chapman lamented, pounding his chest in anguish.
