Despite herself, Camilla’s irritation faded slightly. She walked toward the table and eventually pulled out the remaining chair before sitting down opposite him. The moment she settled into the seat, her attention was drawn to the cup placed directly in front of her. Steam still rose gently from its surface, carrying an unfamiliar but surprisingly pleasant aroma.

She reached toward it but paused before her fingers touched the cup.

Her eyes shifted toward Stan.

"This is coffee?"

"Yes."

Camilla studied the dark liquid for another moment, as though trying to determine whether it was some kind of cultivation resource disguised as an ordinary beverage. Eventually, she decided to take the risk and carefully lifted the cup toward her lips.

Stan remained completely relaxed.

When the Void Sovereign had first offered him the beverage, he had deliberately chosen not to drink it. He had no idea what the coffee contained, and given that it came from an inheritance left behind by an existence as powerful as the Void Sovereign, there was no reason to casually consume something whose effects were unknown.

But he wasn’t concerned about Camilla drinking it.

The moment she picked up the cup, Stan’s attention had naturally shifted toward their connection.

As a member of his harem, Camilla’s life was connected to him through the system. If she were about to consume something harmful enough to endanger her life, the connection would immediately reflect that danger to him. He didn’t need to wait for the substance to enter her body, nor did Camilla need to experience its effects first. If the moment she drank it would place her life in danger, Stan would sense that danger before she even took the first sip.

Yet he sensed nothing.

There was no warning from their connection, no indication of danger, and no sign that Camilla’s life would be threatened by the beverage.

That alone was enough for Stan to know that the coffee was safe.

So he simply watched.

Camilla brought the cup to her lips and took a small sip. For several seconds, her expression remained completely blank.

Stan couldn’t help but smile faintly as he waited for her reaction.

Camilla slowly swallowed and glanced down at the cup again. The bitterness was immediately noticeable, but it was accompanied by a rich aroma and a lingering flavor that she had not expected. It was nothing like blood she was accustomed to drinking in the New Terra Realm. It was far simpler, yet there was something strangely satisfying about it.

"This is better than I expected," she admitted.

Stan’s smile widened slightly.

"I knew you’d like it."

Camilla gave him a suspicious glance, clearly noticing the smugness in his voice. Nevertheless, she ignored it and took another sip, this time without nearly as much hesitation.

She leaned back slightly in her chair, allowing her gaze to wander around the room once more. The more she examined her surroundings, the more curious she became. What had initially appeared to be nothing more than a simple room was beginning to feel increasingly mysterious. Now she was starting to understand that its simplicity was precisely what made it unusual.

The enormous concentration of Qi was impossible to ignore, yet the room itself remained remarkably ordinary. There were no extravagant treasures on display, no intimidating formations carved into the walls, and nothing that immediately revealed why such a seemingly insignificant space belonged to a master cultivator.

Camilla’s gaze eventually settled on Stan again.

The more she thought about it, the more certain she became that this place probably meant very little to him. To her, the concentration of Qi alone was astonishing enough to make the room worthy of being treated as a priceless cultivation treasure. Yet Stan had brought her here with the same casual attitude someone might have when showing a friend an ordinary room in their home.

Camilla slowly lowered her cup.

She had already begun to realize that this was probably nothing more than an insignificant corner of Stan’s world.

And judging by the way he had brought her here so casually, she suspected that he had barely shown her anything yet.

This was probably just the tip of the iceberg.

She let out a quiet sigh and shook her head slightly. ’What did I even expect...?’

....

"This place doesn’t feel like a normal spatial artifact."

Camilla’s voice carried a rare trace of uncertainty as she slowly turned in place, allowing her gaze to travel across the enormous chamber.

She could tell that this was some kind of pocket space connected to Earth, but there was something fundamentally different about the space surrounding them.

It didn’t possess the familiar feeling of a storage artifact, secret realm, or portable dimension.

Those spaces, regardless of how advanced they were, still felt like constructed environments that obeyed recognizable principles.

This chamber was different.

It felt as though the very space around them had been rewritten according to laws that existed far beyond her current understanding.

"It’s not," Stan replied calmly.

He glanced at her for a moment before a thought crossed his mind.

He had heard Camilla mention that information about Earth and their people’s past had been passed down through the vampire lineage for generations.

Perhaps she might know something about the figure behind this chamber.

There was only one way to find out.

"You said information about Earth and your people’s past has been passed down from generation to generation through your vampire lineage."

"Yes..."

"Then do you know who the Void Sovereign is?"

The moment she heard that name, Camilla’s hand stopped halfway through its movement.

"The Void Sovereign..."

She repeated the name quietly, her brows knitting together.

She searched through every fragment of knowledge she had inherited from her bloodline, trying to find even the slightest trace of familiarity.

Nothing. She had never heard of such a figure. Not in the records passed down through her lineage.

Not in the ancient stories.

Not even in the fragments of history concerning Earth and the beings who had once walked its lands.
