Raising My Trash Ability into a Broken SSS+ Rank Skill
Chapter 864: Level 7!
After looking at the dead bodies of his two sons, the pot-bellied man felt pain. His chest tightened, and for a brief second he almost lost his balance.
But he didn’t dare linger there anymore. After bowing towards the group of women. His bow was stiff and shallow, more from fear than respect.
He quickly started walking towards the exit. Each step felt strangely heavy, yet he forced himself to move faster.
Vanessa, Maeve, and the rest just watched him leave in silence, staying true to their words. Their gazes were calm, completely devoid of pity.
They looked at the dead bodies and sighed. First, that man had made his sons poisonous to society, and in the end, this was the result. The smell of blood lingered faintly in the air.
Normally, parents would rather die than hurt their own children like this, and children usually wouldn’t turn against their parents. It was one of those basic truths of the world.
But they didn’t feel any pity towards these people. To them, this was simply cause and effect.
As soon as the pot-bellied man was out of the shop, Diana pulled out a glyph and contacted someone. The glyph glowed faintly in her hand.
Ordering them to remove that man and the rotten people in power related to him from the continent, killing them if necessary. Her voice remained casual despite the severity of the order.
After they were done, Diana looked at the saleswoman and spoke, "You can manage this place under the new owner."
"...Oh." The saleswoman was so shocked that she dazedly stared for a couple of minutes. Her lips parted, but no words came out.
And by then, all of the women had taken whatever clothes they liked and disappeared. It was as if they had never been there at all.
From thinking of committing suicide, she had suddenly been promoted to oversee the entire shop as its manager. The contrast made her dizzy.
The promotion was generational, simply astronomical. Her future, which had seemed pitch-black, was suddenly bright.
Crying, she bowed towards where the women had been seated. Tears dripped down onto the floor.
...
The whole ordeal had spoiled their moods, so without going anywhere else, they decided to return home. None of them felt like continuing the outing.
While flying, they decided to let Rich handle this business too. It was easier to entrust such matters to him.
They would be leaving this planet anyway, and money was meaningless. At their level, wealth was just a tool.
Before long, the eight were back in the Yate Realm and found Vritra resting in his room. The atmosphere inside was quiet and peaceful.
"You had quite the time, huh?" he spoke without opening his eyes. His tone carried mild amusement.
"Not really, we would have preferred a peaceful shopping trip over this." Yasmine spoke and landed beside him on the bed.
"So when are we starting?" the goddess asked. She sat near his head and began to gently comb his hair with her fingers.
She really enjoyed the feel of his long, silky hair, while Vritra enjoyed her tenderness. It always calmed him.
"I am ready, just waiting for Onest and Shitless to return." Vritra replied, finally opening his eyes. His gaze was relaxed yet sharp.
"I will go inform Ava about this." Vanessa said, to which the others decided to tag along. They exchanged brief nods.
They would be gone for over a month after all. It wasn’t a short trip by any means.
Before long, all eight of them were standing in front of Ava and Gunter. The couple’s home felt warm and lived-in.
"You are disappearing again?" Ava asked, a pout on her face. Her eyes betrayed clear worry.
"We will just be in that house. It’s nothing dangerous." Maeve reassured her with a smile. Her tone was soft.
"Still, you had just returned, and now you will be gone for over a month..." Ava felt sad. She thought they would at least get to spend some time together.
But Gunter excitedly asked, "So you are going to absorb those leveling cores and reach Level 7 Demi Gods?! Cool!"
Vritra and the others couldn’t help but laugh at his enthusiasm. He definitely wanted to become a Demi God. His excitement was contagious.
But for now, it wasn’t possible. The gap between them was still too wide.
They chatted for a bit, and just then Onest and Shitless returned. Their timing was perfect.
Onest had handprints over both his cheeks. In the end, he let his guard down and Shitless landed a few attacks.
"...Just finish it quickly, and after that you won’t be going anywhere. You will have to spend more time with me." Ava muttered reluctantly. Her voice was low.
"Yes, we will spend time with you." They all nodded and soon left the couple, who could only sigh.
At least they were pretty close this time. The distance felt less cruel than before.
...
Returning inside the House of Darkness.
Vritra made the Soul Wraiths protect the house and the Yate Realm while they would be away. Their ghostly forms hovered silently.
Onest and Shitless entered their own rooms. Each sat down, took out all the cores, and started absorbing the energy right away.
They paid no mind to the messages popping up before them. The notifications were irrelevant.
In another room, Vritra sat with his wives in the large room where they all took out the energy cores. The cores gave off a subtle glow.
After some light talk, they didn’t waste much time and started the absorption process too.
The time inside the rooms started moving faster compared to the outside. Space itself seemed to twist around them.
Their consciousness was submerged into darkness, as if falling into a slumber, and time lost its meaning.
The auras of the ten were increasing gradually. Each heartbeat carried more power.
Vritra had also used the Book of Dimensions just in case. The ancient pages floated lazily nearby.
While in the outside world, after a brief stir, things soon returned to calm. Daily life continued.
Rich successfully took over the new business after hearing about the fate of the previous owner. He didn’t miss opportunities.
That pot-bellied man was a very clever businessman and always took precautions.
Yet his children became the reason for his demise. In the end, his own blood betrayed him.
...
Just like that, two months passed. The long period went by unnoticed inside the accelerated rooms.
It was dawn, a new peaceful day in the Yate Realm. A soft light bathed the streets.
People were going to their work, children were playing in the streets, the place as bustling as ever. Laughter echoed faintly.
Suddenly, the House of Darkness started trembling, and it rose to such a degree that everyone in the Yate Realm could sense the tremors.
Being close by, Ava and Gunter sensed it too and moved out to check it out. Their expressions turned serious.
They worriedly looked at the House of Darkness, hoping that nothing had gone wrong with Vritra and the others.
Inside the large house, the various layers of protection that Vritra had created started to crumble.
The shields couldn’t hold against just the leaking auras from the ten Demi Gods. Cracks spread across the barriers.
The house thankfully didn’t break apart, and in the end, it was the pages of the Book of Dimensions that Vritra had left behind that contained the powerful auras.
As they all finished absorbing the final energy core one by one, several powerful explosions sounded, scaring everyone in the Yate Realm. Shock rippled through the populace.
The first to wake up was Onest, who quickly stabilized his energy and stopped it from wreaking havoc. His control was firm and precise.
Opening his eyes, he sensed the changes in his body and felt an unbelievable leap in his strength.
His body had literally transformed into something far more powerful. Just a breath would be enough to kill even Level 3 or Level 4 Demi Gods.
Even his skin, flesh, bones, and everything else had gone through major changes.
"This feeling is... just as good as stealing." Onest muttered, a big smile breaking onto his face.
But then he wondered how much Vritra’s strength would increase after this. He was already so powerful.
His physique would undergo extreme changes. Setting aside the Titan for now, just the Dust Manipulation would be on a whole another level.
Plus, Dust Manipulation had combined with Blood Manipulation. Onest shivered at the thought. Thankfully, he wouldn’t have to fight Vritra.
After properly observing the changes and dressing up in a new set of clothes, since the old ones were completely gone, he walked out. His steps felt lighter.
On the other side, Shitless didn’t release such powerful mana bursts. His aura was different.
Since he was purely a physique-type fighter, he didn’t possess any mana, which made his body all the more dangerous.
"Heh, Mugger, wanna have a fight?" Shitless looked at him with a provoking expression. His grin was wide.
"You sure seem confident. Fine, this time you won’t even be able to touch me." Onest retorted, then chuckled.
In the other room, some distance away.
One by one, all the women began to wake up, stabilizing their energy cores. Their eyes slowly opened.
They sensed that their violent auras could create disasters, but thankfully Vritra had prepared for it.
They all too just sat cross-legged and observed the changes, sensing the astronomical leap.
From Level 3 to Level 7, the difference was unbelievably large. It felt like crossing several worlds.
And once they were done, their gazes moved to Vritra, who still sat cross-legged with his eyes closed.
He had created an additional barrier around himself, and many pages of the Book of Dimensions fluttered around him.
Trying to contain the violent bursts of aura, which were at least a thousand times more powerful than all of theirs combined.
They all looked at him in bafflement. It was mainly thanks to his physique and SSS Rank skill.
Thankfully, Vritra had even created several dust barriers around himself while unconscious. Fine particles swirled like a protective storm.
They observed for a bit, and soon Vritra woke up too, and the first thing he saw was his beautiful wives.
All looking back at him.
Their clothes couldn’t hold together either, and they weren’t shy in front of him, so they had yet to dress up.
Vritra contained his violent aura and stabilized his ocean of mana. The raging flow slowly calmed.
Honestly, even he was surprised by the changes. The amount of mana in his body was hundreds of thousands of times greater.
Maybe only as he grew stronger would his physique, bloodline, and skills show their full potential.
Then what when he became a god?
When he became a higher being or even surpassed that?
Well, those thoughts could wait. Now it was time to progress. Only four months remained before they challenged the gods.
