Chapter 591: Soul-devouring Race

Color finally returned to Cai Yan's face. Her expression twisted into a savage snarl, and a gurgling sound, "g-g-g," escaped her throat as if she were trying to speak but had forgotten how. After a long moment, she managed to force out a few hoarse, garbled words: "You... are... so... noisy!"

She suddenly opened her mouth and bit down on Elder Tianyi's large Profound hand. To everyone's disbelief, the massive hand of Profound energy shattered instantly from the bite, dissolving into motes of Profound energy that scattered into the air.

However, the force of the impact shattered nearly all of Cai Yan's teeth, filling her mouth with blood.

A demonic light gleamed in Cai Yan's eyes as she struggled to speak. "Where... is this? Why... can't... I remember... who I am?"

As she spoke, she began fumbling at her own body. RIP! RIP! Her hands moved without any sense of measure or force, and she soon tore her clothes to shreds, exposing the skin underneath.

Although Cai Yan was older, the woman known as Fairy Cai was surprisingly still wearing a young maiden's pink dudou underneath. Now, it too was ripped in half, revealing her two sagging, massive peaks.

Making throats run dry, through the tattered cloth, the crowd could even glimpse two golden rings pierced through the cherries at the peaks' apexes.

But Cai Yan seemed completely unaware, continuing to claw roughly at her body. Unable to control her strength, with a sickening SQUELCH, she tore off a patch of her own skin. Blood immediately began to flow, and in an instant, she was a person drenched in red.

"Human Race... This body is... Human Race... Human Race... so weak."

She spoke clumsily, her eyes vacant. Then, as if she'd remembered something, her hoarse voice continued, and the confusion in her eyes was gradually replaced by a demonic, focused light.

This terrifying scene made everyone's stomachs churn with acid. They were all horrified.

"You monster! Get out of Fairy Cai's body!"

Half of Cai Yan's head immediately exploded, splattering brains and blood across the sky.

Was it dead?

Everyone stared intently at Cai Yan's body in mid-air.

Ye Xuan frowned. "Something's wrong. She's still floating. She's not dead yet."

Everyone snapped back to their senses, filled with terror. If Cai Yan were truly dead and the black light within her gone, her corpse would have fallen from the sky. But now, seeing her half-destroyed body still hovering in mid-air, a chill went down their spines, and cold sweat beaded on their foreheads.

"Still not dead? Then I'll blast you to dust!"

Xie Li roared in fury and pointed at Cai Yan once more.

BOOM!

Cai Yan's body was instantly torn to pieces, exploding into a bloody mist that dissipated in the air.

Was it dead this time?

Everyone's eyes were wide as they stared at the dispersing mist. But just then, a streak of black light shot out from within it, rocketing toward Xie Li, who had just attacked.

"Xie Li's" demonic gaze then swept over Su Xiuyi and Elder Tianyi, as if inspecting which body was better.

Su Xiuyi and Elder Tianyi were both formidable Tier Eight Martial Emperor level experts who had seen their share of storms, but at this moment, an involuntary shudder ran through them.

"Damn you! How dare a monster like you covet my body? Die!"
