Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 963: I am built differently

Chapter 963: I am built differently

“Hey, are you lost?” an Elven man asked, looking at Kent from head to toe. Kent had just stepped into his store.

“I am not,” Kent answered, looking back at him.

“If you are not lost, then what are you doing in this godforsaken place? Do you perhaps have a death wish?”

Kent laughed, “I believe I am still too young to die. In fact, a man even told me on my way here that I still have so many years ahead of me, so death is not an option.”

“I see. Then why did you come here?”

Kent turned toward the red planet in the distance, “I came because of that planet. I am here to train.”

“Well, can’t say I didn’t expect that. But are you really sure this is something you wanted? I mean, look around, the weakest person here is a Spirit Monarch, and even they are looking to form a team with Spirit Lords for safety.”

Kent looked around, and truth be told, he felt intimidated. Just within a 1000-meter radius alone, he could sense dozens of Heavenly Ascension stage warriors of different races and sizes.

However, he wasn’t scared easily. He was not going to give in that easily.

“I am built differently,” Kent said, looking at the items displayed in the man’s store with a smug smile on his face.

He could see some life-saving treasures of varying nature and strength. However, his focus was rooted in the Teleportation Talisman.

The man was paying attention to Kent, and while he was certain Kent wouldn’t be returning alive from the Flame Sea, he couldn’t help but admire the brave look on Kent’s face.

“I was told that to get to the surface of Planet Cosima, I need to buy a Teleportation Talisman. Mind telling me more about how they work?”

The man sighed and decided to focus on his job instead of worrying about somebody’s life-or-death situation.

“We have seven different colours of Talisman, each designed to send you to the outer region of one of the seven regions. Since you are here, I assume you are aware that there are seven monarchs on Planet Cosima.

The white-colored Teleportation Talisman takes you to Lotus Inferno Lake, the region ruled by the Crimson Lotus Empress.

I don’t know if you have heard, but 20 Heavenly Ascension went after this monarch, and she singlehandedly killed 18 of them.

I wouldn’t recommend visiting her domain if you value your life. Of course, staying in the outer region is safe, but the beasts around will be a headache for someone like you.”

Kent just smiled at the man’s words and continued to pay attention to the rest of the Talismans.

“The Scarlet Talisman will take you to Cinderhorn Plains, the domain of the Scarlet Flame Minotaur Monarch.

The Blue will take you to Scorched Skies, the domain of the Blue Flame Roc Monarch. A nasty bird that I would stay away from if I were you.”

Kent nodded.

“The Violet will take you to the Serpent’s Coil Valley, the domain of the Violet Flame Serpent Monarch. People say he is much more lively, but I won’t recommend venturing there.

Those who saw him and managed to live said his head alone is bigger than a mountain.”

“Bigger than a mountain, huh. I wonder if he will taste good,” Kent said, almost drooling at that thought. The man looked at him and shook his head.

’I guess he is just too tired of living.’

He picked the next Talisman, which had a crimson colour, “This one leads to Molten Abyss, the domain of the Crimson Flame Titan Monarch.”

He picked a golden Talisman, “This leads to the Eternal Nest, domain of the Golden Flame Phoenix Monarch, the second strongest beast right after the Black Flame Dragon Monarch, who lives in the Ashfall Range.”

“So which one will you be buying? Each goes for 2000 Spirit Stones, with the return Talisman going for 10,000 Spirit Stones.”

“I will take the one leading to the domain of the Violet Flame Serpent Monarch. I feel like I share a destiny with her.”

“How do you know it is a her and not a he?” the man asked.

“Because serpents are usually ladies, and well, I kinda have a thing for serpents, so I might as well venture there first.”

Kent laughed, but the man merely shook his head and retrieved a Violet Talisman and a Yellow one meant for him to use to return to the Moon.

“Know that for the return Talisman to work, you must be safe from danger for at least a minute. If you use it while on the run or fighting for your pitiful life, you will be transported to a random place. You might even find yourself in any of the seven core regions.”

“Thank you for telling me all this. If I were to return, I would be sure to bring you a couple of gifts.”

The man merely laughed, “One last thing, Cosima is extremely large as you can see, so don’t be in a hurry to move from one region to another. Just moving from one region to another can take weeks, sometimes even months.”

Kent nodded and walked out of the man’s store. He looked toward another store that sold food.

Although he could go months without food, Kent chose to buy some just in case.

’I will be spending two and a half months there. If all things go well, I should be walking out a different person.’

With that thought in mind, Kent channelled his energy into the Teleportation Talisman and, like smoke, he vanished.

Inside the store where he bought the Talisman, the man sighed, seeing Kent vanish down to the planet everybody calls Hell.

It was extremely hot there, and just the thought of facing beasts, combined with the fact that without strong flame resistance, dying from just being there was extremely high, made everyone want to call this planet literal hell.

However, thousands of people visited there on a regular basis. Aside from training their flame resistance, the planet itself held some powerful treasures that, if obtained and sold, would fetch them a considerable fortune.

At the end of the day, everything is up to one’s fate.

Kent, whose fate had taken him from 370,000 years in the future, had just arrived in the outermost region of the Serpent’s Coil Valley.

The moment he appeared, a series of messages appeared in his vision.

⟪Your flame resistance has improved slightly⟫ Ths chapter is updated by n0velfire.net

⟪Your comprehension of the flame has improved slightly⟫

⟪Your Soul Flame grows stronger⟫

⟪Flame Source detected. Current Quality is not enough to begin forming Flame Veins.⟫

⟪Move deeper into the heart of the flame, absorb a richer form of the Flame Source.⟫

“We are in business,” Kent smiled, opening the soul map.

In an instant, the 80,000 km was within his reach. He surveyed the area, and a sigh came from his lips.

“Looks like this place is indeed dangerous. Just the outer region is already this crowded.” Kent noticed the various beasts lurking within the extremely large valley; he couldn’t even start to measure its end.

“With the soul map, I can avoid unnecessary battles and focus more on getting stronger.” Kent moved and started heading deeper into the outer region.

He was lucky to have appeared in the outermost part of the Serpent’s Coil Valley. Many couldn’t say the same thing, considering most deaths happened within the first few minutes upon arrival.

Two hours later, a new message appeared, causing Kent to grin.
