Pregnant Bunny, Obsessed Beast Husbands

Chapter 417 - 416: Reunion with the Big Tiger

  • Next Chapter

Exhausted from the trip?

The Big Tiger has arrived!

Yu Zhizhi looked at the ship anchored on the sea and gave a small nod. "Alright, I’ll go invite the Prince."

She walked toward the ship, and the Moonrise Guards automatically cleared a path for her.

Someone took the initiative to lead her to Cang Lan’s cabin.

The Moonrise Guard stopped short. "The Prince is just inside."

Yu Zhizhi stepped forward and knocked lightly on the door, but there was no response. After a moment’s hesitation, she turned the handle and found the door unlocked.

She pushed the door open. The cabin was spacious. The window was ajar, letting the salty sea breeze rustle the bed curtains. In the center of the room was a wide bed, and on it lay a man, his face pale and his forehead covered in dense beads of sweat.

Prince Canglan looked truly unwell. Yu Zhizhi walked to the bedside. At the sound of her footsteps, Cang Lan’s brow furrowed slightly. He slowly opened his eyes to see the small female from the Rabbit Clan sitting by his bed, staring at him nervously.

His breathing was shallow and quick. He slowly turned his head to the side, sweat drenching the golden strands of hair at his temples.

Yu Zhizhi didn’t hesitate any longer. She formed a hand seal before her chest, and a pure white Healing Light slowly enveloped the man’s body.

She discovered...

The Big Tiger wasn’t injured, and his spiritual power was stable. He was just exceptionally weak.

An uncomfortable flush appeared on Cang Lan’s face. His lips were pursed tightly, as if he was still bothered by their last encounter and didn’t want to speak to her.

’Could it be...’

’The Beast Bone?’

Yu Zhizhi grew worried and immediately leaned in closer.

Her fingertips lightly touched Cang Lan’s brow bone.

His body trembled slightly. His pupils constricted, and his hands clenched the mattress beneath him as his breathing grew heavier.

All Cang Lan could smell was that sweet fragrance he had missed for so long...

The blood in his veins began to boil uncontrollably.

His gaze fell uncontrollably on the little female’s snow-white neck. The roots of his teeth began to ache. He wanted so badly... to bite her.

’This infuriating rabbit.’

’She just waltzed in here.’

’Doesn’t she know she’s walking into a dangerous situation...?’

Cang Lan gritted his teeth.

Yu Zhizhi carefully examined his Spirit Root but found nothing out of the ordinary. In fact, the Big Tiger’s Spirit Root was flourishing, radiating a brilliant, dazzling golden light.

’Strange. His body and Spirit Root are both fine, so what’s wrong with him?’

Yu Zhizhi slowly straightened up, looking at him in confusion.

She wasn’t sure if it was her imagination, but Prince Canglan’s body seemed to be trembling slightly now, and his cheeks were flushed as if he had a fever.

"Your Highness... are you feeling unwell?"

Cang Lan ignored her.

’Have I been having too much fun in my territory lately and slacked off on practicing my talent?’ Yu Zhizhi wondered. ’If Noel found out, he’d probably punish me with extra homework.’

Just as she was about to use her Healing Skill to check him again, she suddenly heard a "GRUMBLE" sound.

Yu Zhizhi froze.

Cang Lan’s face flushed with shame and anger. He turned his head away, his voice raspy. "...It’s none of your business."

Yu Zhizhi seemed to realize something. She looked at the table in the cabin, where a tray of exquisite food lay untouched.

And "red wine."

’The Big Tiger hasn’t eaten?’

’Is he starving?’

’He’s so weak. How long has it been since he’s eaten...?’

’Is the food on the ship not to his liking?’

Yu Zhizhi spoke softly, "Your Highness, we have plenty of food in my territory. What would you like to eat? I can have them prepare it in advance."

’Asking me what I want to eat?’

Cang Lan closed his eyes slightly. "Rabbit meat."

"..." Yu Zhizhi slowly scooted back.

’Maybe,’ she thought, ’I should offer him some blood?’

Yu Zhizhi pulled up her sleeve slightly and placed her arm near his lips.

The cool touch, carrying an alluring scent... Cang Lan’s eyes snapped open. A sudden surge of energy rose from deep within him, his fangs nearly showing, but he still shoved the little female’s arm away.

"I don’t need it."

’Fine...’ Yu Zhizhi straightened her sleeve.

She slowly stood up. "Your Highness, let’s head to my territory first. Little Star is waiting for you."

The moment Cang Lan heard the name, he knew exactly who she was talking about.

He had sensed the beast cub hatching while he was still out at sea.

’So soon.’

He said nothing, still wearing an expression that kept her at a distance.

Yu Zhizhi quietly left the room.

She saw Cang Jie waiting downstairs and explained, "The Prince is fine. Just take him back to the territory, have him rest, and eat something. He’ll be okay."

Cang Jie smiled. "As long as he’s alright. Thank you for your trouble, Lady Lord."

’Who knew, if I hadn’t come on this trip, I’d never have found out my own brother gets so seasick he can’t even eat.’

’I thought he’d be unable to restrain his bloodlust the moment he saw Miss Rabbit, but it turns out nothing happened at all.’

’I really can’t tell if my brother is holding back because he cares for her and is afraid of losing control, or if he’s still full of resentment toward Miss Rabbit because of what happened before.’

After the Moonrise Mission was settled in, the councilor elder and Cang Jie were eager to see the little tiger cub.

Before they even entered, they heard a high-pitched "tiger roar." The Golden Tiger Cub was standing on the white bedding, its fur standing on end, ready to face an enemy.

At the door, Cang Jie raised his hands in surrender. "Hey nephew, I’m not carrying any weapons!"

The Golden Tiger Cub didn’t care. It swished its tail irritably, refusing to let anyone near its domain.

It had been the same with the servants and guards in the territory before.

But under Yu Zhizhi’s guidance, it had learned to tolerate the servants’ presence and no longer looked like it wanted to tear the Little Octopus to shreds all the time.

But this time, the scents were completely unfamiliar!

The councilor elder beside Cang Jie stared at the little tiger cub, filled with excitement—

’Truly worthy of the Prince’s bloodline! So full of life!’

’You can tell it’s robust just by looking at it. Its spiritual power must have been formidable at birth! I just wonder what Talent Ability it has awakened?’

When Yu Zhizhi entered the room, the little tiger cub looked at her, and its hostile posture immediately softened.

It let out a soft whine.

Yu Zhizhi picked it up. "Your father is here too. Want to go see him?"

’Father?’ The little tiger cub’s eyes went wide. It touched Yu Zhizhi’s shoulder with a chubby paw, tilting its head back to look at her thoughtfully.

’Alright, then. I suppose I’ll meet him.’

The little tiger cub nodded.

Cang Jie leaned against the doorframe, a faint smile on his face.

’Fierce as anything a moment ago,’ he thought, ’but the second it sees Miss Rabbit, it’s as tame as a kitten.’

’I wonder how much of a fuss the little one will make when it’s time to take him away?’

Yu Zhizhi carried the little tiger to Cang Lan’s room.

Now that he was off the ship, Cang Lan seemed to be doing a bit better. He sat at the head of the bed, resting with his eyes closed. Though he was still hungry, he had no appetite.

The moment the little Rabbit Clan female reached his door, he smelled her scent, and...

’A Tiger Clan cub.’

Yu Zhizhi knocked on the door.

There was no response.

She gently pushed the door open. "Your Highness, we’re here."
