Chapter 814: Chapter 380: Young and Inexperienced, Blushing Is an Ailment (Part 3)
The patients aren’t confused at all.
They know very clearly where treatment works well, where it doesn’t, and what’s overly expensive.
"Oh, is that so! Then you must have been hospitalized for treatment here, right?"
The female staff member was puzzled; why do all the patients say it’s good here?
It just looks like a somewhat larger clinic, is it really that good?
"When I first came, I was so weak that I couldn’t walk steadily and needed support. I wanted to be hospitalized here, but they flatly refused. They encouraged me, saying that after two or three days of treatment, there would be significant improvement, so I should find a way to overcome the difficulties. And just like Dr. Li said, after treatment the second day, by afternoon, I felt much more comfortable.
My appetite also noticeably improved.
Later, my condition got better and better.
Are you from the health bureau? I’m telling you, this clinic is really particularly good."
The male patient was under thirty, and seeing the female staff’s uniform, he guessed her identity.
In the end, he even spoke well of Sunshine Clinic.
Unconvinced, the female staff member looked for a younger female patient, believing that as fellow women, she could connect better.
The result was more or less the same.
Her gaze shifted to a middle-aged man with a harsh appearance. This kind of person often has a strange temper and might reveal some misconduct of Sunshine Clinic.
As soon as she started asking, the hot-tempered man directly cursed at her.
"You take taxpayers’ money, why don’t you do something useful? So many shady clinics and heartless hospitals that you don’t investigate. Last time I broke a toe working, it cost me over eight thousand bucks, and the toe still wasn’t saved. Calling your complaint line, you just play tai chi..."
The endless tirade almost brought the newly employed female staffer to tears.
She fled embarrassed.
"Miss, how did the investigation go? You look terrified; are you okay?"
Li Jingsheng stood outside the treatment room, waiting for her.
"Hmph, someone made a real-name report against your clinic for illegally admitting inpatient treatments, providing detailed allegations. I don’t believe it can’t be found. What’s the second floor for?"
She felt Li Jingsheng was insincerely speaking in reverse and wasn’t genuinely concerned about her.
She even felt a sense of humiliation as if being watched perform.
"The second floor is used for our online medication sales office, and I live up there myself. Want to take a tour?"
Li Jingsheng initially thought of teasing her but eventually held back.
Just a little girl, carrying authority without knowing her own name.
She hasn’t been beaten by society yet.
Facing two tough nuts, she’ll learn the hard way.
"Lead the way."
She held a camera, her face cold.
Li Jingsheng led the way, with her following closely behind.
"Has your face always been this red since childhood?"
Seeing her for the first time, he felt something was up.
How to say it, her face wasn’t the usual rosy cheeks but was dark red, even with a hint of purple.
An experienced doctor can discern certain typical or hidden ailments from a patient’s appearance. At least Li Jingsheng had this skill now.
She kept a cold face, staying silent.
Seeing this, Li Jingsheng consciously quickened his pace. She followed closely.
Mainly worried Li Jingsheng would hide some illegal evidence ahead.
The two climbed to the second floor, where Li Jingsheng stopped in the corridor.
He turned to look at her face.
He noticed the redness had deepened significantly.
Moreover, she was breathing heavily, with her chest heaving intensely.
Li Jingsheng was closely observing her face, chest, and abdomen.
The gaze made her uncomfortable, even feeling his look was frivolous. It seemed like he was teasing her.
"Do you exercise regularly?"
"Quit with the distractions, let me inspect the rooms on the second floor. Don’t think I don’t know; you’re deliberately delaying to let others hide any evidence of violations."
She showed no gratitude and coldly reproached Li Jingsheng.
She thought he was just wasting time deliberately.
"Oh, young lady, how should I commend you! Check first, then answer my questions later."
Li Jingsheng did not argue with her.
He’d encountered even tougher patients and families; having good intentions dismissed as rubbish was common.
"This is where our customer service and operation officers work."
Li Jingsheng led her into the first office.
She saw several people working inside, gave it a glance, and directly walked out.
"Over there is the drug warehouse."
Opened the door for her to check; only the warehouse manager was working inside, obviously not a place to admit inpatients.
"Want to see more?"
"Of course!"
"Then take a look! These rooms are currently empty; they might be turned into observation rooms or examination rooms in the future. Planning has yet to be finalized."
"Why isn’t that room opened?"
"That’s my bedroom; do you really want to see inside?"
Li Jingsheng raised an eyebrow.
She glanced back; the male colleague hadn’t followed.
"Open the door and let me look."
She bit her lip and shouted.
Li Jingsheng immediately opened the door, revealing a rather messy room, filled with medical books everywhere.
