Chapter 2462 - 2470: Descent

Qin Yu summoned the Purple Micro Battle Armor without hesitation, withstanding the attack of the Pulse Particle Beam head-on! Boom boom boom! A great burst of firelight erupted from Qin Yu’s body!

"Report to the director, the Pulse Particle Beam has hit the target!"

Cheers burst forth from SHIELD Bureau headquarters in an instant! Fantastic! The target has finally been taken down! The mighty SHIELD Bureau will not tolerate provocation!

But soon, the cheers at SHIELD Bureau headquarters subsided, for through thermal imaging technology, everyone saw that Qin Yu was moving quickly, descending rapidly through the safety staircase!

"Report to the director, the target is still alive and descending through the safety staircase, the target’s speed is very fast, fiftieth floor, fortieth floor!"

"Attack! Keep attacking!"

Boom boom boom! Upon the command, members of the Supernatural Group fired the Pulse Particle Beam again!

The power of the Pulse Particle Beam was greater than that of the Poseidon Armament, and each concentrated fire could consume one percent of the Purple Micro Battle Armor’s energy!

Qin Yu didn’t want to sit idly by; he had to seize the opportunity to take down these psychics wielding pulse weapons.

Based on Qin Yu’s combat experience, he could tell that a fall from the twentieth floor shouldn’t be fatal with his current abilities! Qin Yu had to rush to the twentieth floor; only then could he fully confront those helicopters.

However, the SHIELD Bureau clearly didn’t want Qin Yu to succeed. When Qin Yu reached the thirtieth floor, several levels of the safety staircase had been destroyed by pulse weapons!

But this couldn’t stump Qin Yu. He quickly left the safety staircase and looked for the nearest elevator based on his memory.

Soon, Qin Yu found the elevator, but he realized that the Federal Bank Building had lost power!

Qin Yu snorted coldly and threw a fierce punch! Bang! The elevator door was shattered, revealing the elevator shaft! Qin Yu leaped into the shaft and slid down using the elevator cables.

"Director, the target has entered the elevator shaft; should we continue the attack?"

"Are you stupid? Activate the high voltage in the elevator shaft and electrocute him!"

"Yes!"

Qin Yu had just slid down less than three floors when a bright light suddenly illuminated the elevator shaft, a visible pale blue electric light spreading from the reinforcement bars!

Even from a distance, Qin Yu could feel the paralyzing energy and was certain, without a shadow of a doubt, that this was a super high voltage current.

For others, even for a Quasi-Divine Realm master, this would pose a lethal threat, but for Qin Yu, who had cultivated the Five Thunder Divine Skill, this high voltage was child’s play.

Far from panicking, Qin Yu reached out his hand towards the electric light coming from below!

"How comfortable!" Qin Yu grinned and smiled.

There were cameras in the elevator shaft, and all members of SHIELD Bureau were shocked to witness this scene through the surveillance!

"What kind of monster is this? This is a hundred thousand volts of electricity! Even metal could melt! How can he feel nothing?"

"Terrifying! Even our own Divine Chosen Warriors couldn’t do this, could they?"

"No, our Alexander should be able to do this, it’s just that Alexander has gone to Huaxia."

As expected of Mossas, the Director of SHIELD Bureau, he kept his calm in a critical moment and said solemnly, "Everyone calm down! Every psychic’s ability has its specialty. Since he has mastered electricity, we can use other methods to kill him! Check, which floor is the elevator on?"

"Report to the director, the elevator is on the top floor!"

"Let the elevator free fall!"

"Yes!"

At Mossas’s command, the elevator on the 70th floor plummeted at high speed, getting faster and faster!

To delay Qin Yu’s discovery of the situation, with a click, the emergency lights in the elevator went off.

By the time Qin Yu realized what was happening, the elevator was less than three floors away from him, and at that moment, Qin Yu was approximately on the level of a dozen or so floors!

Everyone at the SHIELD Bureau held their breath. An elevator free-falling from the 70th floor could smash an armored car to pieces! Not to mention a human being! They didn’t believe their contestant had an iron head and copper bones!

Qin Yu rolled his eyes; the folks at SHIELD sure had a variety of tricks! They were actually trying to squash him with an elevator! Qin Yu had no choice but to brace for the impact!

In such a confined space, Qin Yu didn’t dare to use the Tri-color Thunder Orb. It was too terrifying and could deplete the energy of the Purple Micro Battle Armor! At such a close range, it would definitely injure him.

The only thing he could use was the Sky-Opening Axe! Qin Yu believed in the sharpness of the Sky-Opening Axe; it could definitely shatter the elevator!

The only problem was the tremendous kinetic energy of the falling elevator. Even if he could slice the elevator to pieces, the powerful reaction force would still smash him downward!

With no time to think, Qin Yu summoned the Sky-Opening Axe without hesitation! With a loud roar, he swung the Sky-Opening Axe fiercely at the rapidly falling elevator!

The Sky-Opening Axe, truly the Ancient Martial World’s top Divine Artifact! With a thunderous boom, the elevator was cleaved into an explosion, annihilated down to the atomic level!

The tremendous force of the impact sent Qin Yu flying, making it impossible for him to grab onto the rebar!

Zzzzz..., as the Purple Micro Gauntlets and rebar rubbed against each other, bursts of sparks erupted!

Creaking and groaning, the rebar that could support several tons of weight shattered! Qin Yu no longer had anything to brace against and began to plummet rapidly!

Watching this scene through surveillance, cheers erupted once again in the SHIELD Bureau lobby!

In their minds, with such a speed, he’d definitely turn into a dead ball! Already at the level of a dozen or so floors, if the steel rebar that could bear tons of weight had snapped, falling to the ground afterward would surely turn him into a pancake!

Sadly, they were to be disappointed by Qin Yu! He had already considered the possibility of a high-altitude fall. He was prepared with suction cups, so why wouldn’t he have prepared a parachute pack?

Qin Yu summoned a parachute pack from the Purple Micro Star Ring, with a click, he yanked the cord, and the parachute deployed!

Due to the small space of the elevator shaft, the parachute took on a somewhat strange shape.

However, even though the shape was a bit odd, it served its purpose. Qin Yu’s falling speed dropped dramatically in an instant!

As soon as the parachute appeared, the entire SHIELD Bureau lobby went dead silent. Holy shit! He could actually do that?

"What are you waiting for? Shoot down the parachute!" SHIELD Bureau Director Mossas was the first to react!

Following Mossas’s order, a sniper wielding the Poseidon Armament immediately pulled the trigger, sending a Particle Stream over, which accurately hit the ropes of the parachute!

With a whoosh, Qin Yu began to accelerate in his fall once again!

But at this moment, Qin Yu was only nine floors above the ground! His speed had already dropped a lot! Qin Yu was confident that from this height, he could survive the fall.

However, just surviving wasn’t enough; he needed to remain in top condition!

Qin Yu was somewhat annoyed; the sniper’s shooting was so accurate that he could break the ropes at such a high speed.

If he had known earlier, he would have prepared several parachutes!
