Peerless Medical Emperor
Chapter 207: The Third Guardian’s Confidants
In a secret stronghold in Dragon Country, Ma John sat quietly in his office, his eyes sinister.
He was a tall man wearing black glasses and a black suit, giving off a cold and mysterious aura.
"Feng, Yun, Moon, you three are my closest assassins, and also the people I trust most," Ma John said coldly.
"I have a mission for you. You are to establish your own faction in Dragon Country, answering only to me. Ignore everyone else."
"Yes, Three Guardians." Feng, Yun, and Moon said in unison.
"You are to deliver twenty million US Dollars within six months. Otherwise, I will eliminate you as useless trash." Ma John’s words carried a power that could not be questioned.
"Yes, please rest assured, Three Guardians," the three said in unison again, their voices trembling slightly. They were clearly terrified by Ma John’s words.
"Feng, you’re in charge of intelligence gathering and recruitment," Ma John continued. "Yun, you’re in charge of planning and executing operations."
"Yes, Three Guardians. We will do our best," Feng and Yun said in unison.
"Moon, you’re in charge of finances and fund management," Ma John said, looking at Moon. "You are to ensure the flow and security of the funds."
"Yes, Three Guardians," Moon also replied.
Ma John nodded in satisfaction. He knew he had leveraged their skills to the fullest.
He gave the three a deep look and then said, "If you have any intention of betraying me, leave now. I can grant you a way out alive. But if you stay, you must give your all to complete this mission."
The three looked up at Ma John, a determined glint in their eyes. They said in unison, "We will not betray our master. We will definitely complete the mission."
Ma John smiled faintly. He knew these three were now completely under his control. He stood up, walked to the window, and gazed out at the night.
He knew his plan would change the landscape of Dragon Country. He was filled with anticipation and confidence.
Over the next month and more, Feng, Yun, and Moon set to work.
They continuously recruited personnel, gathered intelligence, planned operations, and managed funds. Their strength grew, and they gradually formed a powerful faction.
Ma John was very satisfied with their performance. He knew he had already established a powerful faction, one that could strike at those in Dragon Country who refused to submit to the Evil God Sect at any time.
He decided to give them a test to see if they could complete the mission.
On a dark night, Ma John brought the three assassins to a secret location in Dragon Country. He told them that a leader opposing the Evil God Sect was here, and that he had to die.
Furthermore, no one could know his death was connected to the Evil God Sect.
The three assassins listened to Ma John’s instructions very carefully. They knew the importance of this mission, and they also knew the consequences of failure.
After a brief discussion, they decided that Feng and Yun would carry out the assassination, while Moon would provide support from a distance.
Feng and Yun moved nimbly through the dark streets. They quickly found their target’s location. After confirming no one else was around, they moved in swiftly.
Feng assassinated the target with a dagger, while Yun ended the target’s life with a silenced gun. The entire process went very smoothly.
From a distance, Moon saw it all happen. She knew this was Three Guardians’ intention, that this was their test. Ma John was very satisfied with the trio’s performance. He knew he had established a powerful faction, ready to strike at those who defied the Evil God Sect at any moment. He decided to give them a reward.
In a luxurious restaurant, Ma John arranged a lavish dinner for the three assassins, but they all knew this was not an ending, but merely a beginning.
A few days later, Ma John strode into Ma Dahua’s territory. His goal was to subdue Ma Dahua and have him join the Evil God Sect.
This Evil God Sect was his organization, and it was his everything. He believed that with Ma Dahua’s help, they would be omnipotent.
Inside Ma Dahua’s territory, the atmosphere was tense. The thugs lining the path were all grim-faced and menacing—clearly a tough crowd. But Ma John was not the least bit afraid. He walked straight into the central hall and saw Ma Dahua, seated on a raised platform.
Ma Dahua looked at the uninvited guest, a flicker of surprise in his heart. He hadn’t expected Ma John to come in person. But he wore a smile on his face, appearing quite polite.
"Welcome to my territory, Ma John," Ma Dahua greeted him enthusiastically. "I hear you’re the Three Guardians of the Evil God Sect. Truly impressive."
"You flatter me," Ma John replied with a faint smile. "I heard you are also a leader in this line of work, which is why I came to pay a special visit."
Ma Dahua roared with laughter. He pointed to the women beside him. "These women are all my treasures. If you want one, just say the word."
Ma John was briefly stunned. He hadn’t expected Ma Dahua to be so generous. But he quickly recovered, his eyes sweeping over the women, each one very beautiful. An idea struck him, and he said, "I want a few of the local wives you’ve found to keep me company for a night."
Ma Dahua’s expression flickered, but he quickly returned to normal. ’This Ma John is a ruthless one, alright, to make such a shameless request.’ But he kept the smile on his face and said, "That’s a bit difficult. I’d have to ask the women first."
"No need," Ma John said coldly. "Just tell me if it’s possible or not."
Ma Dahua sighed to himself. He knew this request was impossible to fulfill. But he didn’t want to offend this ruthless character, so he could only say, "These things need to be discussed slowly. Why the rush?"
"Discuss my ass!" Ma John suddenly exploded. "You Dragon Country People are all the same, always beating around the bush. You can’t even handle a simple thing like this!"
Ma Dahua’s face darkened; he was losing his patience too. He knew Ma John was trouble, but he hadn’t expected him to be this difficult. He secretly decided to find an opportunity later to teach this guy a lesson.
Just then, Ma John suddenly stood up. He grabbed one of the women beside him and pulled her into his arms. The woman screamed, but Ma John paid her no mind.
At that moment, Ma Dahua broke the awkward tension. He had the woman leave and pulled Ma John back to continue drinking.
Ma Dahua sat among a group of people with ulterior motives, his expression dark. He stared into his wine cup as if lost in thought.
