It’s said that the pig’s head meat here was well-marbled, tender, and melted in the mouth, especially delicious.

"Boss, do you feel like we’ve gained weight this month?" Ye Zhi touched her slightly round face.

An Jing laughed and said, "Eating delicious food everywhere every day, and so much of it, how could we not get fat? Luckily, we haven’t gained much, just a little bit. It’s hard to buy thinness in old age with a thousand taels of gold. I can’t start getting fat now."

"Anyway, your brother-in-law doesn’t mind if you’re fat. So what if you get fat?" Ye Zhi didn’t mind gaining weight, but since she had gained weight, her husband loved pinching and playing with her old face at night, which left her speechless.

An Jing said, "It’s not about whether he minds, I care about my health. I’m so happy now, of course, I want to live a few more years. I don’t want to die early."

"That’s true." Ye Zhi nodded. "I think the same way, too. If we can live long, why live short? I’m so happy, why would I want to die early? Of course, I want to live as long as possible."

Gong Juechen leaned over with a grin and said, "Zhizhi, I’ll always make sure you’re healthy."

Ye Zhi was touched but retorted, "That’s about the only use you have."

An Jing laughed, "That mouth of yours, only Gong Juechen would put up with it."

Ye Zhi also laughed and joked, "That’s why I married him in the first place."

An Jing said to Gong Juechen, "Don’t listen to her, she’s just relying on your pampering. She married you because she likes you and because you’re so good to her, she’s just contradicting herself."

Gong Juechen nodded repeatedly, "Right, right, I know she loves me very much too, she just likes to say the opposite of what she feels."

Ye Zhi rolled her eyes, pretending not to hear a thing.

"We’re here." At that moment, Su Changyi said lightly, stopping in his tracks.

An Jing was first surprised, then laughed, "We, you, and Gong Juechen, six eyes in total, didn’t notice this. Fortunately, my husband reminded us, or else we might have walked right past such a big store, simply blind with eyes wide open."

Just as Ye Zhi was about to enter, she saw a master and servant pair walking towards them too. The master’s face was as pale as paper but very gentle, prompting her to say, "Aren’t those the two people we bumped into in front of the Glutinous Rice Cake Shop before? What a coincidence."

An Jing and the others followed Ye Zhi’s line of sight to look.

Taoming Ye didn’t expect to meet the person who helped him the last time. As he reached the entrance of the pig’s head meat shop, he politely greeted Gong Juechen, "Sir, it’s you."

After greeting Gong Juechen, Taoming Ye politely smiled at An Jing, Su Changyi, and Ye Zhi as a greeting.
