Pampered by My Secret Husband

Chapter 1318 - 1320: She Wasn’t Hurt, So Don’t Worry

"Raina, you still haven’t correctly recognized your identity. Can you see the Young Master just because you want to?"

Raina panicked. She tightly gripped the car door, refusing to get in, "I won’t leave. I want to see Auntie... I’m Cheryl Chew’s sister. You can’t treat me this way..."

Charlie River ordered someone to lift her out of the wheelchair and directly stuff her into the car, while the wheelchair was placed into the trunk.

"Ah... help me..."

No matter how Raina shouted, struggled, and resisted, she couldn’t overpower Charlie River.

The situation was set.

At a suburban villa, due to the urgent situation, when Raina was sent there, the servants were still cleaning.

The air was full of dust particles. Sitting in the wheelchair, after being tossed off the car, Charlie River immediately led people away.

Only Raina was left, sitting in the wheelchair at the doorway of the main hall, watching the servants bustle around.

Seeing everything in front of her, she broke down and screamed, "I want to go back... let me go back!"

In the evening, Cheryl Chew returned from A University. She washed her hands, just about to go upstairs to see Raina.

As soon as she stepped on the staircase, Mrs. Shannon called her, "Cheryl, come over to Godmother."

Cheryl nodded, obediently came to sit beside Mrs. Shannon, "Godmother, what’s up?"

Facing Cheryl’s bewildered eyes, Mrs. Shannon raised her hand and affectionately stroked her head, "Cheryl, Godmother wants to tell you something, you need to be mentally prepared."

Mental preparation?

Cheryl’s heart immediately rose to her throat, becoming nervous, "Did something happen to my sister?"

Mrs. Shannon hesitated for a moment before nodding, "Sort of, but she wasn’t injured, don’t worry."

As long as she wasn’t injured, as long as she wasn’t injured...

Cheryl secretly breathed a sigh of relief, pursed her lips, and smiled, "Godmother, what is it?"

"After thorough consideration, Godmother decided to let your sister stay in the villa district of the suburb. Your Brother Shannon has already sent people to take her there today."

Fearing she would overthink, Mrs. Shannon explained softly, "Cheryl, you know your sister had a past dispute with Miss Sullivan. I also learned the direct reason for your sister’s leg injury. To prevent any contact between her and Miss Sullivan, I didn’t ask your opinion and sent your sister away. You won’t be angry with Godmother, will you?"

Cheryl blinked and then smiled, snuggling into Mrs. Shannon’s embrace, holding her, and slowly shook her head, "I won’t be. How could I be angry with Godmother? Godmother did the right thing. It’s inappropriate for my sister to stay here, especially since Brother Shannon doesn’t like her. She wouldn’t feel comfortable staying here anyway, so it’s better for her to live elsewhere, where she can feel more at ease."

Listening to Cheryl’s words, Mrs. Shannon pat Cheryl’s back with relief, "Cheryl is a good child, she never disappoints Godmother."

Cheryl lifted her head from her embrace, "Godmother, then let me go live with my sister too."

"Cheryl, you know Godmother can’t bear to let you go..." Mrs. Shannon’s intention was for Cheryl to visit the suburban villa to accompany Raina for two days over the weekend, but to reside inside the manor the rest of the time.

After all, she couldn’t bear to let the child she raised by her side move away to live alone.

Especially when the person she’s living with is Raina...

"Godmother, I’ve already grown up; I’ll need to learn to be independent sooner or later. If you keep pampering me like this, I won’t grow up."

"Then never grow up, Godmother will care for you a lifetime."
