Impulsive?

She absolutely wasn’t being impulsive now. If last night he hadn’t forced her to stay, she would have left last night.

Instead of waiting until now and calling it impulsive.

"I’ll say this one last time. Move."

Thomas Shannon took a deep drag on his cigarette, his cold eyes staring at her with vicious intensity. "You really want to leave?"

"Do I look like I’m joking with you?"

Sophie Sullivan wasn’t joking at all; she was dead set on leaving.

Thomas Shannon stared at her in a daze for a long time before he finally gave a hard nod. His body shifted to the side, and he grabbed the door panel with one hand and yanked it open.

The door panel slammed against the wall, letting out a big noise.

Bang!

His voice was dark and heavy like water. "Go."

Sophie Sullivan didn’t look sideways and strode out.

Thomas Shannon took a deep drag on his cigarette and stepped his long legs out of the bedroom doorway. Staring at her resolute back, he let out a cold laugh. "Sophie Sullivan, that’s just who you are. Again and again you trample on my heart. Again and again you play me. Again and again you keep me dangling, neither near nor far!"

Sophie Sullivan turned a deaf ear and quickly walked away.

Only when that shadow disappeared from his line of sight did Thomas Shannon finally let out a low roar: "Once you leave, don’t ever come back!"

Sophie Sullivan, once you leave, don’t ever come back!

Walking down the staircase, Sophie Sullivan heard this sentence. The corner of the mouth pressed in slightly, her eye color darkening.

She quickly went down the stairs, just as Cheryl Chew pushed Raina Bell, who had already finished breakfast, out from Inside Restaurant.

Both of them saw Sophie Sullivan, who was about to leave. Cheryl Chew bit down on her lower lip, not sure if she should call out to her and ask what was wrong.

Raina Bell sneered. "Miss Sullivan, are you leaving?"

Hearing this, Sophie Sullivan turned her head, coldly smiling as she stared at Raina Bell. Raina Bell’s whole body trembled; she actually felt as if an icy poisonous snake had coiled around her neck.

That feeling of slowly winding tighter and tighter, choking her breath, gradually crept over her.

Raina Bell forced herself to pull it together. Why should she be afraid? This was Shannons’ Manor. She had long ago ceased to be that female slaves who was humiliated by anyone at will. She was Raina Bell!

She was Cheryl Chew’s Elder Sister, Miss Fit’s Elder Sister.

She wanted to see what else Sophie Sullivan could do to her!

"Miss Sullivan, out of nowhere, why are you leaving?" Raina Bell asked again, courting death without fear. Her expression could only be described as utterly provocative.

Too bad Cheryl Chew couldn’t see it.

The corner of the mouth on Sophie Sullivan’s lips hooked slightly, pulling out a cold smile. "Raina Bell, don’t get proud. The fact that you’re still alive one day more is because I’ve spared you."

She currently didn’t have the energy to deal with her. After handling Fluffy Zane’s affair, she still had to rush back to Country F.

Isabel and Andres’s affair was still waiting for her to deal with.

Once she took back everything that belonged to herself, it wouldn’t be too late to come settle the score with Raina Bell.

Hearing this sentence, Raina Bell only felt it was funny. She laughed disdainfully out loud. "Miss Sullivan, as for the grudge between us, I have long ago listened to Mrs. Shannon and turned the page. Why are you still so hostile toward me?"

"Turn the page? Raina Bell, the matter between us is not something that can be turned that easily."

With that, Sophie Sullivan couldn’t even be bothered to give Raina Bell another glance; she turned and left.

Watching Sophie Sullivan’s back, Raina Bell simply decided she was scared.

How could she not be scared?

Now Mrs. Shannon was on her side. If Sophie Sullivan wanted to marry into the Shannon Family, Mrs. Shannon’s opinion was especially important.

Once she couldn’t get her future mother-in-law’s approval, even if she married into the Shannon Family, her days wouldn’t be easy.

Mr. Shannon doted on Mrs. Shannon, that was known to all. Once Mrs. Shannon was unhappy, Mr. Shannon would be unhappy.

Sophie Sullivan had essentially offended both Mr. Shannon and Mrs. Shannon at the same time.
