The sword light cascaded.

The bloodline at the center of the Peach Blossom Sword surged and pulsated fiercely. With each pulse, this sword, holding the highest power of the Great Thousand Worlds, sent out heavy, muffled ripples. The time and space within the range of these ripples were easily breached beyond gravitational limits, creating massive bends.

The entire Central Chaos Region curved like a serpent with a winding body, its surface shimmering. Blasts of light revolved around the Central Chaos Region. These high-energy beams born from Chaos could easily penetrate the spatial barriers of a Small Thousand World, yet now, they couldn’t escape the Central Chaos Region.

In this realm, only the Everlasting Mountain stood unmoved.

On the mountain, Fan Wubing and Qing Ke were unaffected by the bending of space-time, for they were at the very center of it.

This was a sword with no technique, no style, only overwhelming power, blocked by Qing Ke. In his palm was a Jade Square Seal, devoid of any markings, as if it were an unshaped clay. The seal spun rapidly, forming a barrier three feet ahead.

The blade of the Peach Blossom Sword, after penetrating an inch into the barrier, could advance no further.

Fan Wubing’s gaze, shifting away from the Peach Blossom Sword, fell directly into Qing Ke’s eyes. This ferocity roared with his unbeatable momentum.

Yet, Qing Ke remained unmoved, calmly saying,

"All the power you possess comes from everything. How can you break through the barrier of the totality of all things?"

Indeed, whether the skills of the Seven Luminaries True Monarch or the Wu Wang True Monarch, they all stem from the Great Thousand Worlds and all things. The limit of his power could reach no further than the sum total of all things’ power.

How, then, can he surpass Qing Ke, who represents the sum of all things?

Fan Wubing stared at Qing Ke,

"Unless I have power beyond the sum of all things."

Within the barrier of the Jade Square Seal, Qing Ke remained untainted, undisturbed by chaos. He embodied the sum of all things, the closest existence to the Destiny Dao. His essence and disposition far exceeded the worldly beings. He was close yet distant, seemingly presenting an unbridgeable chasm with everything.

He possessed an extraordinary character akin to "the heavens’ compassion for humanity," gazing gently at Fan Wubing, asking,

"Then, do you have it?"

He seemingly did not regard Fan Wubing as an enemy, but as a child.

Fan Wubing’s struggle also felt like the rebellion in a child’s growing-up process. Like a parent, he patiently guides, showing Fan Wubing the right path to crown as king.

Fan Wubing felt the will that Qing Ke conveyed, smiled, and shook his head,

"That’s why I say, predetermined fate is like authoritarian parents, believing that arranging a path for the child is in the child’s best interest, for a better future. But they never consider that if a child can’t walk their own path, they’d forever remain a child, let alone speak of a so-called future."

Fan Wubing gripped the sword hilt even tighter. His gaze had shed its former ferocity, growing even more resolute,

"The sky high allows the birds to fly, the sea vast permits fish to leap. The unpredictable fate is our own path to take."

Qing Ke asked,

"Even if it leads to a road of destruction, would you still choose an unpredictable fate?"

Fan Wubing shook his head, "Destruction is not destruction until it arrives, happiness is not happiness until it arrives. An ending without an end is unpredictable."

Qing Ke took a step forward, and the barrier of the Jade Square Seal became even more solid. The inch that Peach Blossom had pierced with full might was also pushed back.

He stood very upright, his tone devoid of distractions,

"A world without order has only one ending: destruction. This is the truth born from the dawn of chaos. Fate sees it this way, as does the true dragon."

"So, why does the true dragon seek to prevent the Destiny Dao?"

Qing Ke replied, "The true dragon is merely an observer, neither representing all things nor fate. When ultimate eternity arrives, it cannot observe and loses the meaning of its existence. Once it loses that meaning, it would also perish. Hence, it seeks to stop the Destiny Dao."

Fan Wubing asked again,

"But you know, once eternity arrives, the Destiny Dao will cease to exist."

Qing Ke solemnly stated, "The Destiny Dao exists to guide and sustain all things. If all things step into eternity, it doesn’t matter whether the Dao exists or not. Precisely because it is selfless, it is fearless."

The Destiny Dao is indeed selfless. Unlike the "Heaven" of the Great Wilderness World’s previous Heavenly Dao, possessing a clear stance and intentional mission. It exists for the birth of all things and will perish for the eternity of all things.

Being selfless is being fearless.

Fan Wubing agreed with this notion but shook his head, saying,

"But if the method is wrong, then righteousness and selflessness without self serve only to add fuel to the fire."

"What method do you think is correct? How can we prevent the Great Thousand Worlds from descending into utter chaos?" Qing Ke said, "Your cognitive ability rivals that of the true dragon, and Destiny Dao surely knows that total chaos means obliteration. The unpredictable fate you speak of, the ending without an end, how can it be achieved?"

Fan Wubing said, "Leave the past in the past, place the present in the present, give the future to the future."

For the first time, confusion appeared in Qing Ke’s eyes. He slightly furrowed his brows,

"I don’t understand."
