Others Summon, I Forge Beast Armor
Chapter 149: One Million Points
Having brought Amigo back from the River of Evolution with his Evolution Grand-Complete, and for Seraphina to focus on cultivating her own Paths, Luke had another matter to tend to next.
Farming Dimensional Items, then selling them back on Earth.
Earth produced Man Metal in abundance; the Insect Realm produced Insect Metal and its counterparts.
When it came down to it, both were resources. So, the way to buy them and the way to sell them followed the same road.
The way you acquire Man Metal is the same way you acquire Insect Metal and kin.
The economy of the Insect World required Luke to transact in Pollen Coins.
While buying, Luke did some scouting too, and came across other goods like Insect Glass, Insect Paper, Insect Wood, Insect Wax, and all manner of things.
But he did not give them a second glance.
He was focused on items related to forging Beast Armor.
Soon, he gathered everything he needed, the same things he promised those Guilds.
That being the case, he needed to hurry back to Earth and settle the deals with them.
Since they’d shown interest, this was the right time to show some interest in return—otherwise it would seem like they were begging him, and the deal might crumble.
The next day, Luke fed the two of the Primordial Twin Form Dark Dragonlord first thing. By the time he finished, both dragons, still in their "Youngling" Age stage, advanced to Tier 2 together.
Amigo watched from the side, asking, "Master, what about the one who wields Immortal Fire? Should we cage her mouth, just in case she loses focus one day and breathes us all to ash?"
"You mean put her in a muzzle?" Luke shot back. "Amigo, that’s an odd thing to say, even for you."
"Odd, me?" Amigo said. "They’re not even supposed to be this big at this Age, and yet they keep throwing themselves at me, treating me like some kind of brother, squeezing the breath right out of me. Look at the muscle on Bo!"
"They’re this size because of Seraphina," Luke said. "As for clinging to you — it’s because your Soul Pool runs large now. They’re using you as a stand-in for Seraphina, since they hatched inside her Soul and Spirit to begin with."
"Oh? So that’s the trick of an Empyreal Angel, Angel of all Spirits?" Amigo muttered. "Charming everyone in sight? I’d bet she’s got you charmed out of your senses too, Master. Hold still, I’ll run the Life Reconstruction Art, clear this enchantment right out of you, snap you back to your senses!"
Luke frowned as Amigo channeled his power right then and there.
After all that fuss, nothing came of it at all.
This proves that Seraphina hadn’t cast any enchantment on his master. His Master’s regard for that girl was genuine, through and through.
Some bonds, Luke thought wisely, needed no proof, and Amigo’s clumsy attempt to break this one only made it more obvious.
Luke smiled, shook his head, and turned to walk away.
"Amigo, one point two billion years, and you’re still exactly the same," he said. "Suspicious of everything, funny, only a bit more outspoken."
Yeah, Luke thought Amigo would come back unrecognisable.
Maybe old, slow-moving, always serious, and spouting off ages and ancient quotes all the time
After all, a being who lived through countless eras should have been worn down by time, not as lively as this.
Instead of being worn down, Amigo’s tongue upgraded.
Becoming a Heavenly Immortal Tortoise, his perspective had become shrewd.
Maybe because he’s seen many things, now he has fierce judgments.
Luke asked: "As the Heavenly Immortal Tortoise, are you really immortal? I thought the system just gave you that name to bluff, but the way you have expressed yourself, it sounds like you mean it."
Amigo replied: "Has the word ’immortal’ changed meaning on me? Did you not see the look on that Empyreal Angel’s face, the moment she laid eyes on my Species?"
"Fine, then prove it," Luke said. "I’ll find something that can kill you, and you must survive it. That’s what counts. Today’s the last day of the Trial — good timing, so we’ll clear another round of monsters, and see what you’re really made of."
"Master, don’t think of it that way," Amigo said quickly. "Immortal doesn’t mean unbreakable. I can get hurt, but I won’t die. Making me bleed is the greatest torment you can inflict—I won’t die, but the pain will be real. Unless you have a High-Tier Healing Art to spare me the agony... but hehe, pity, that you left the Empyreal Angel behind in the Insect World!"
"Actually, I do have a High-tier Healing Art," Luke said, summoning his Olympian Serpent Bodyplate.
Amigo was dumbfounded. He hadn’t known his own Master had grown this strong already.
"With this Serpent-Body Armor, I’ve got Mythic-rank High-Tier Healing. You won’t suffer a thing."
Amigo was defeated. He couldn’t escape this test of immortality.
An hour later, the two of them entered the city.
Luke, referring to the map and the comprehensive index, located numerous monster areas.
Using Environmental Assimilation, Amigo surprisingly revealed more hidden monster zones, and this made Luke’s visit to the Comptroller’s office look pointless if he had Amigo with him.
So, today, he must earn back those points and hit a million points on the leaderboard.
This time, Luke didn’t fight himself. He let his Beasts fight.
The Heavenly Immortal Tortoise was a Support summon, while the Primordial Twin Form Dark Dragonlord was Combat, as expected. So they didn’t clash, but they complemented each other.
But the two dragons were still novices, so Luke had to lend a hand.
Every time they entered a new Monster Zone, he’d use the Serpent-Body Armor to summon vines that binds the monsters and slows them down, so that the dragons will have room to practice in.
Amigo, meanwhile, stayed behind them, analysing the fights and shielding the dragons, making sure no stray claw or fang of a monster got to them.
The Frostbite Monster Zone.
Cold air lashed at their faces, a pack of frost monsters standing across the snowfield, while Luke was behind his two young dragons, yet to make a move.
"Bo, hold," he said. "Wait for them to bunch up. Now, left side."
The red dragon spread his wings and lunged, claws tearing through the frozen earth, slamming straight into a group of Frostfang Wolves, sending one tumbling end over end.
The Frost Monster Zone.
A chilling aura filled the air. A group of frost monsters stood on the snow. Luke stood behind two young dragons, not making a move.
"Bo, don’t rush," he said. "Wait until they’re all together."
Bo stopped.
"Now. To the left."
The red dragon spread its wings and charged, its claws digging through the frozen ground, crashing into the horde of Frostfang wolves, sending one wolf tumbling away.
"Enough. Don’t chase. Fall back. Now fire as they’re retaliating!"
Bo opened his jaws, crimson flame sweeping the snow, and XP followed!
"Lan, right side is yours. Spin first like before, but wrap them in wind. Then hold them with the wind and incinerate them afterwards."
Meanwhile, Luke said to Lan’s twin: "Don’t let them surround Lan. Go help her."
Bo charged over. Crimson fire met blue-white flame, one cold, one hot, the shockwaves mesmerising the snowfield.
Like that, they worked together and did not need Luke’s help with the vines anymore.
Bo breaking the formation up front, Lan controlling the field from behind.
However, there were some openings for them to get hit, so that’s when Luke interfered by shooting up vines from the snow and wrapping the legs of the lucky monster who was about to make the move.
"Lan, use the wind, push it toward your brother."
Lan beat her wings, and the monster was swept up by the gust, sliding across the snow and to the red Dragon.
Bo opened his jaws, and this time, mortal fire surged forth.

〖You have leveled up to Level 45.〗
Fighting with your beasts, it turned out, was surprisingly faster.
Luke blitzed through Monster Zone after Monster Zone in barely any time at all, until he got almost five hundred thousand Points in a single day.
Amigo deserved credit too — his Environmental Assimilation kept uncovering more hidden Zones along the way.
In the end, Luke reached the million Points he’d set out for, and then some — one million, two hundred thousand, to be exact.

Luke also saw he’d leveled up to Lv. 45, then, by the end of it all, Lv. 48.
Lv. 50 is the requirement for entry into the Confederacy, so that box was nearly checked.
Being the top student besides, he held a golden ticket already.
But Luke remembered that to the world, he was still nothing but the worthless son who’d Awakened a metal glove. No one knew about his dragons, and no one knew about the Heavenly Immortal Tortoise.
