Orgasm Treatment
Chapter 267 - 266: The Guy Surnamed Zheng Definitely Has a Problem
At this moment, inside the emergency room, Chen Dinglai lay on the operating table, his body covered in various tubes. His face was ghostly pale, and his breathing was so weak it was barely perceptible.
Seeing Yang Xun walk in, the few young nurses nearby were somewhat at a loss, subconsciously looking in the direction Zheng Peiyuan had left.
"Everyone, get out." Yang Xun’s voice wasn’t loud, but it carried a compelling authority that made people subconsciously want to obey. "Leave this to me."
"But Dr. Zheng said..." a young nurse began hesitantly.
"I said, get out."
Though Yang Xun looked young, his imposing demeanor when serious made the group tremble. He reached out and checked Chen Dinglai’s pulse, sending a wisp of True Qi through his fingertips into the man’s body. The nurses exchanged glances and ultimately retreated from the emergency room.
The moment the door closed, Yang Xun frowned slightly. Chen Dinglai’s condition was indeed as grim as Zheng Peiyuan had claimed. He had suffered multiple stab wounds to his internal organs. Although Yang Xun had temporarily sealed the bleeding points with True Qi, the microscopic lacerations deep within the wounds were still oozing blood. If these injuries weren’t repaired and stitched up in a short time, Chen Dinglai would still die from internal hemorrhaging, even with the major blood vessels sealed.
Taking a deep breath, Yang Xun took out his silver needles and pierced several critical acupoints on Chen Dinglai’s chest and abdomen one by one. With every needle inserted, a wisp of warm True Qi seeped in. His movements were incredibly fast; in a flurry of shifting fingers, over a dozen silver needles were firmly planted in Chen Dinglai’s body.
The True Qi extended from the ends of the needles like fine silk threads, flowing slowly along the meridians into the organ wounds. Layer by layer, it enveloped the microscopic lacerations, stimulating the cells to heal at an accelerated rate.
Yang Xun had grown highly proficient in the Nine Yang Needle Technique. If not for this acupuncture technique, Chen Dinglai would have undoubtedly died. The speed at which True Qi repaired wounds was far faster and more precise than regular sutures. The trajectory of every sliver of True Qi was accurate to the millimeter, as if he were threading the finest embroidery needle through the walls of the blood vessels.
Time ticked by. A fine layer of sweat beaded on Yang Xun’s forehead, but his hand movements didn’t pause for a moment. He could clearly sense the damaged organs inside Chen Dinglai slowly mending, the bleeding points gradually closing.
About an hour later, Yang Xun finally withdrew his hands. He removed the silver needles and exhaled a long breath of stale air. Though Chen Dinglai’s breathing was still faint, it was much steadier than before. Standing up straight, Yang Xun wiped the sweat from his forehead with his sleeve, turned around, and pushed open the door to the emergency room.
"How is it?" Chen Mingli immediately approached.
"His life is saved," Yang Xun said, his voice tinged with exhaustion. "But he lost too much blood and his body is too weak. He’ll need to rest for at least two days before he can speak."
Chen Mingli let out a heavy sigh of relief. "Thank goodness!"
"Captain Chen, transfer him to a ward first. Guard the door yourself and don’t let anyone in," Yang Xun instructed, pausing as his gaze darkened. "Especially that Dr. Zheng."
"Understood."
Yang Xun looked down at his clothes, which were covered in blood and dust, and turned toward the restroom. Just as he walked out, he heard Zheng Peiyuan’s voice coming from the door of the ward.
"I’m here to deliver medicine to the patient and check on his condition. On what grounds are you stopping me?"
"The person inside is our key witness, and no one is allowed near him. Leave the medicine and go," Chen Mingli said coldly.
"What is the meaning of this?" Zheng Peiyuan gritted his teeth viciously.
Chen Mingli couldn’t be bothered to entertain him; regardless of what he said, Zheng Peiyuan was not getting in.
Seeing this, Yang Xun relaxed. He waved to Zhou Yuan. "Young Master Zhou, give me a ride to the pharmacy."
"You got it." Zhou Yuan put away his phone and whispered, "Let me tell you, there’s definitely something wrong with that Dr. Zheng."
"He can’t get in anyway, so he can only fret helplessly." Yang Xun chuckled as the two quickly left the hospital.
At this moment, Zheng Peiyuan was standing by the window in the third-floor corridor. Watching the two men get into a car and speed away, he slowly clenched his fists in anger. He took out his phone and dialed Jin Zhenhai’s number again.
"Mr. Jin, that Yang guy left, but Chen Dinglai isn’t dead yet."
"He actually managed to save him. Find a way to take him out quickly," Jin Zhenhai said, his voice laced with suppressed anger.
"Mr. Jin, they’re guarding him too closely. I have no way of getting in," Zheng Peiyuan said through gritted teeth. "But don’t worry, I’ll have another chance tomorrow."
"I don’t care how you do it. As long as you kill Chen Dinglai, everything is negotiable. I’ll add another million to your payout. I expect good news the next time you call."
"Understood."
Zheng Peiyuan hung up the phone. As he watched the fading taillights in the night, his gaze turned venomous like a viper.
Early the next morning, as the sky was just beginning to lighten, Yang Xun returned to the hospital. He carried a thermos containing a medicinal decoction he had brewed overnight. The hospital corridors were quiet, broken only by the occasional footsteps of nurses on duty pacing back and forth.
True to his word, Chen Mingli had stayed on guard at the door to Chen Dinglai’s ward. His eyes were a bit bloodshot from staying up all night, but he was still alert.
"Mr. Yang, you’re here." Chen Mingli stood up and yawned. "Nothing unusual happened last night. That Dr. Zheng came by twice, but I turned him away both times."
"Thanks for the hard work." Yang Xun nodded, pushed open the door, and walked into the ward.
He walked over to the bed and placed three fingers on Chen Dinglai’s pulse. After a careful examination, his brows smoothed out. The healing effects of the True Qi were better than he had anticipated. The severe internal organ lacerations from last night had mostly closed up; the rest was just a matter of time.
Yang Xun poured a bowl of the medicinal soup from the thermos. Supporting the back of Chen Dinglai’s neck, he spooned the warm liquid into the man’s mouth bit by bit. As the medicine slid down his throat and into his stomach, Chen Dinglai frowned slightly. His Adam’s apple bobbed several times, as if he were instinctively rejecting the bitter taste.
"Finish it," Yang Xun said calmly. "If you want to live, don’t complain about the bitterness."
Chen Dinglai’s eyelashes fluttered twice before he finally opened his mouth, swallowing every last drop of the medicine. Once the medicinal properties took effect, a warm, nourishing sensation rapidly spread, flowing along his meridians to his limbs and bones. He could feel his parched body slowly revitalizing, like dry earth soaking up much-needed rain.
A few hours later, around noon, Chen Dinglai finally opened his eyes. His gaze remained unfocused for a moment, as though he had just struggled out of a long nightmare. He had to refocus several times before he could clearly see Yang Xun sitting in front of him and Chen Mingli standing nearby.
"You’re finally awake," Yang Xun said in an even tone.
Chen Dinglai’s lips moved, his voice so hoarse it was barely audible. "It was you... You saved me?"
"Since you’re awake, let’s talk about your situation," Chen Mingli spoke up first, staring at him with serious eyes.
