Silence filled the atmosphere as they stared at Nyx suspiciously.

"I also heard that..." Lord Ash nodded. "It seems he also wants to carry the female..."

Nyx cleared his throat and turned away from them. "I mean, it’s not a bad thing. She has helped me... And I’m not extremely ungrateful, so... I’m just paying her back."

Lord Ash smiled and shook his head. "Paying her back, eh? You’ve used that excuse for long enough now. Do you plan on repaying her forever?" he teased.

Lord Vale shook his head. "I think he’s finding excuses to get close to Ayra too. At this point, you should also become her mate officially."

Ayra smiled at the statement as Nyx folded his arms and looked away, denying their words.

"Silly words. I’m not interested in any of that. I’m just being a logical person. Nothing more, so think whatever you want."

He said it so casually that they all slowly nodded in exaggerated agreement, clearly not believing him.

After that, Nyx quickly changed the subject.

"Enough of that. Let’s proceed to dividing the time frames we’ll use to carry her."

Ayra and Ally stood side by side with their arms folded as they watched Nyx divide the remaining time between her mates and assign each of them their turns.

As he did so, Ayra couldn’t help but smile because she understood exactly what Nyx was doing.

Nyx was playing tricks and deceiving them while dividing the time without them noticing.

When he was finally done, Nyx nodded.

"That’s done. Now let’s proceed. I’ll start first."

He turned and moved toward Ayra.

At that moment, the rest of them finally understood what had happened. Nyx had deliberately played them so he could be the first person to carry Ayra. Worse, he had divided the time unfairly, giving himself a few extra minutes with her.

When they realized it, they were all shocked. They stared at one another in disbelief before turning toward Nyx, who had already transformed into a large cat and was standing beside Ayra, ready to leave.

"Hey, you big bad cat! You tricked us! How dare you?" Lord Vale demanded.

But the cat simply tilted his head and shrugged.

"You evil cat!" Lord Ash snapped. "That’s unfair!"

"No time to waste. Let’s go," the cat said as he turned toward Ayra and lowered himself for her.

Ayra smiled and shook her head before mounting the cat, wrapping her arms firmly around his neck. Ally quickly climbed onto him as well, settling close to her mother.

With the mother and daughter sitting comfortably on his back, the cat stood up and began moving.

The rest of Ayra’s mates folded their arms and shook their heads in disbelief.

"What a trickster," Commander Lynn muttered.

"Let’s go," Lord Vale sighed. "We’ll get him next time."

They began following behind.

The journey back continued, with the cat leading the way while Ally and Ayra sat comfortably on his back. The rest of Ayra’s mates followed behind them, along with some of the warrior beastmen who had accompanied them.

As they moved, Ally kept looking around, admiring the scenery and pointing out everything she noticed to Ayra.

Ayra smiled back at her as the two interacted along the way, enjoying the journey together.

They continued as planned, switching between the husbands as they took turns carrying Ayra.

They switched to Lord Ash the fox, and later to Commander Lynn. After that came Lord Vale, and finally Lord Zark, who was the last.

By the time they switched to Lord Zark, they were already close to their tribe. The dragon took them through the air, carrying Ayra as he flew toward the tribe while the rest transformed into their beast forms and moved quickly to catch up.

Soon, they finally arrived at the tribe.

As soon as they arrived, Lord Zark gently laid Ayra down on the bed while the others gathered around the room to watch her.

The triplet snake cubs and Zay rushed into the room as soon as they discovered that they were back. Rai and his peers, who had been keeping them safe alongside the warrior beastmen, also came into the room to welcome them.

"Mama! Mama!" Neris called happily as he made his way through, followed closely by the others.

"Mama!" Nat called as the triplet snakes climbed onto the bed and sat close to Ayra, who was lying on it.

Ally remained standing on the floor, watching them.

"Careful. Don’t disturb Mama too much. She needs to rest," Lord Ash informed them with a smile.

But the cubs weren’t paying attention at all. They sat close to Ayra, staring at her with their full attention. Even Zay joined them, settling down beside them and staring at Ayra as well.

"Mama, why didn’t you come back fast?" Neris asked. "We were waiting for you."

Nat and Nyeon nodded firmly.

"True. You didn’t come back fast. Are you doing fine?"

Ayra nodded with a smile as she ran a hand through her little ones’ hair, gently brushing through their silver locks.

"I’m fine. Don’t worry. And how about you? Are you doing fine?"

The triplets and Zay nodded firmly.

"Yes! We had so much fun, Mama! You should have been there!" Neris said happily and loudly.

"Yes, yes! Uncle Rai took us out, and we picked a lot of pretty stones," Nat said with a smile.

"Uncle Kan also showed us how to throw stones at squirrels!" Nyeon announced happily. "We threw them at a lot of squirrels around!"

As soon as he announced that, Nyx froze.

He slowly turned his head toward Kan before looking at Ayra.

Ayra was speechless as she stared at Kan too. Everyone’s eyes immediately landed on him, making Kan blink awkwardly.
