Nat and Nyeon blinked at each other before pointing their fingers in the direction Neris had run off to.

"..." Ally was speechless. She sat there staring in that direction before gasping. "Huh? He left through there? Are you sure?"

Nyeon tilted his head. "I think I saw him going in that direction..."

Nat added with a slight pout, nodding. "He was chasing some butterfly, so maybe he did go through there..."

Ally blinked at the scene in shock as she slowly got to her feet. "Oh, that’s bad. I told you all to stay here..."

She instantly grew worried and helped the two of them up. "Come on, let’s go. I’ll take you somewhere safe."

"But our apple..." Nyeon tried to protest, but Ally had already started leading the two of them away.

"I’ll get you another one later. Let’s go," she said, hurrying them along.

Ally took the two snakes to a safer place before finally stopping to think about what she was going to do.

She felt instantly worried knowing that Neris had stubbornly run off into the woods. She was the one who was supposed to take care of him and keep an eye on him. She had only stepped away for a moment, and now she had lost him!

Now she was too worried to even go and tell her mama and dads about it.

"I have to find him myself first..." Ally decided. But with that in mind, she knew she couldn’t go alone.

"I know!" An idea suddenly came to her, and she flashed a smile. "I’ll go and meet the beastmen on patrol and tell them about it. They’ll help me find him!"

She decided as she turned and made her way toward the patrol group.

Not far away, a group of warrior beastmen were sitting around and preparing their weapons. They were getting ready to enter the woods and survey the area to make sure everything was safe.

At that moment, Ally ran over and stood before them, causing the beastmen to stare down at her in confusion.

"Eh? What are you doing here?" Klat stared at her.

He was now fully part of the tribe’s warriors after pledging his loyalty to Ayra for saving his brother. He and the other men were preparing to leave when Ally suddenly appeared.

"Come with me and find Neris!" Ally instantly informed them. "He ran off into the woods... And I think it’s dangerous...!"

As soon as she said that, the beastmen stared at each other in alarm before turning their attention back to her. They immediately got to their feet.

"Are you sure about that?" one of them asked.

Ally nodded firmly. "Yes, I’m sure. He ran off... I can’t see him anywhere. So help me find him. I don’t want to tell Mama yet... She’ll be mad at me..." she pouted.

The beastmen stared at each other, contemplating what to do. After a moment, Klat went down on one knee before Ally and gently patted her hair.

"Okay, we’ll follow you and look for him. But if it takes some time and we can’t find any trace of him, we’ll immediately inform Mama and Papa about it, okay?"

He explained, "At least they need to know so we can all look for him together. Okay?"

Ally lowered her head before slowly nodding in agreement. "Okay..."

And so, they all got ready and took their positions to leave. Klat held out his hand and firmly held onto Ally’s hand.

"Okay, now, let’s go," he said.

Ally nodded and led the way.

Soon, she and the ten beastmen made their way into the woods in search of Neris.

SILVERMOON TRIBE

It took days before Miya finally arrived back at the tribe.

As soon as she returned, she rushed through the tribe’s paths toward the tribe leader’s lair, moving like a mad woman without any clear direction.

As she hurried past, the tribe members stared at her in shock and disbelief.

"Huh? Isn’t that Miya?"

"Yes, it is. Why is she looking like that? So hideous..."

"The scar and everything... What happened to her?"

"She went to the Wild Tribe and returned like this? I wonder what they did to her."

They all speculated while watching her run past them and make her way toward the tribe lord’s place.

The tribe lord was sitting outside his house with a group of men. They were gathered together, discussing the men who still hadn’t returned.

They were even considering sending an eagle beastman to find out what was happening there.

But then Miya suddenly rushed into the scene and fell to her knees in panic.

Immediately, everyone turned and stared at her in confusion.

At first, they didn’t recognize her.

"Who’s this...?"

"What’s this female doing here, interrupting our meeting?"

But when she looked up at them, everyone gasped in shock at the sight before them.

They finally recognized her.

"Miya...?"

"Is that... really you?" they asked in disbelief.

Tears of contempt filled Miya’s eyes as she cried out, "Yes... yes, it’s me! I’m the one... I’ve been through so much!"

Shocked, the men stared at each other before looking back at her.

At that moment, the tribe lord spoke.

"What happened? Why are you like this...?"

"What happened to you at that tribe?" the others immediately demanded.

Miya struggled to remain calm as she answered, "Those monsters... They’re the ones behind it... Especially that girl... that Ayra... That vicious sister! She was the one behind all of this!"

By this point, people had already begun gathering. More beastmen of the tribe slowly surrounded the area, standing at the sides and staring at Miya.

They were extremely curious to know what had happened to her and what she had experienced at the Wild Tribe that had left her in such a state.

And as soon as Miya made the accusation, everyone gasped in shock and confusion.

"What do you mean... Ayra was behind this? How’s that possible?" one of the men asked.

"An F-rank female like her... What harm could she possibly do to an A-rank elite female like you?"

But Miya shook her head.

Just like them, she too had underestimated Ayra.
