Silence befell the atmosphere as everyone stared. They watched Nyx slowly walk up to Ayra. His breath was uneven as he stood before Ayra, staring down at the healthy-looking squirrel.

He reached out his hand and touched the squirrel, feeling the fluffy little animal that played around in Ayra’s palm. Slowly, he grew calm.

Ayra smiled. "It’s okay... He’s fine.. I healed the little one..." she said with a calm smile. "I realized that it means a lot to you. Your friend. So I healed him quickly for you."

Surprised, Nyx slowly stared at her. "You healed him..?" He was surprised that she would heal something dear to him to make him happy.

Nyx was growing more surprised at this female and his perception was changing. Because the villainess F-rank female he knew wasn’t one that would heal his little friend for his happiness. He was moved.

The triplet snake cubs, Neris, Nat and Nyeon had stepped into the scene. The three little boys sat down at a distance watching the scene after they’d sneaked out from the room.

Little Zay had also sneaked out while subconsciously following his brothers. He came to sit down on the floor with them, watching the dramatic scene unfold.

And at that moment, Miya had caught sight of the little ones. She let out a malicious smile as she instantly rushed towards them.

The triplet snakes had instantly caught sight of what was coming their way, they dived and ran off. Little Zay was a bit slow to catch up.

Before he could run off with them, Miya dived and caught the little dragon cub, holding Zay in her arms firmly while looking at everyone.

Immediately, she had caught everyone’s attention. She was holding Ayra’s cub. And as Ayra turned to see her, her face went pale in shock.

"What do you think you’re doing?!" Lord Vale questioned.

"Let go of him..." Lord Zark said in a low growl. His fists were clenched as he glared at Miya who was holding his cub. It was clear he was ready to burn down everywhere for his little one.

Everyone stared at Miya who held the dragon cub in her arms, stepping back. The dragon struggled to be set free but she held him firmly.

"Back off!" She snapped. "Back off now unless I’ll harm this cub! Back off!" Miya was using the little one to threaten them. She wanted to escape with the opportunity.

"Evil woman! Let go of my little brother!" Ally had rushed into the scene. She wanted to go and save her little brother, but Lord Ash pulled her back.

The snakes also wanted to rush in but Lord Vale and some beastmen held them back.

Lord Zark’s eyes were red and one could see flames building up around his body. He was furious and ready to burn down Miya.

"I’ll harm this little one..." Miya said. "If you come closer.. I’ll make sure this dragon suffers for it.. I’ll use this dragon as revenge for all you’ve done to me. I’ll make you all see!"

Ayra was struggling to be calm as she said, "Are you insane..? I promise if you lay a finger on my little cub.. I’ll make you see hell!"

Miya scoffed as she stared at Ayra. "This dragon is also yours? And the snake cubs are yours too..." She shook her head. "You’re supposed to be the useless F-rank sister who is infertile! How can you bear cubs before me?"

Ayra snapped, "How’s that to do with anything? Let go of my cubs now!"

Miya shook her head. "Never! I’ll destroy the cub! No one will have the cub if I haven’t had cubs at all! You can’t have before me at all!"

She snapped holding the dragon firmly while Zay struggled. Zay had struggled to no avail that he began crying aloud. But Miya held him firmly.

"Shut up!" Miya snapped at the crying dragon cub.

Lord Zark’s flames increased as he clenched his fists at her. "You asked for it.. and I’m going to make you pay..."

He was about attacking but something else happened that shocked everyone there.

Little Zay who was crying suddenly opened his little mouth while crying out loud, and immediately flames burst out from his mouth.

To everyone’s shock, the quiet S-rank dragon cub had let out a massive flame that consumed Miya who was holding him.

"Ahhh!" Miya let out a sharp cry of pain as the flames brushed through her hand and side of her face. It had burnt her on those spots as she instantly let go of the cub and fell backwards in pain.

Lord Zark rushed to the scene and caught his little cub firmly in his arms with his wings spread out.

Little Zay fell into Zark’s arms as he settled firmly in his embrace, holding him closely while he sobbed.

And at the moment, everyone’s eyes moved from the father who was firmly holding his cub, to Miya who was on the floor, burnt, hurt and in intense pain.
