One Piece: Getting Stronger by Writing a Diary
Chapter 570 - 746 – We Can Start the Banquet
In Hina's view, if she could not satisfy her own man as a woman, that would be a failure on her part.
As a crewmate, she could still help Arton by fighting the enemies of the Flameblade Pirates.
However, after honestly examining her current strength, Hina knew she could not possibly offer Arton much help in battle. She was far more likely to hold him back.
Even if she later obtained an opportunity from Arton, she did not believe she could keep pace with how quickly he grew stronger.
Those who possessed voyage diary copies could accelerate their training with the points they earned through Arton, allowing themselves to grow stronger rapidly.
Even so, they remained far behind Arton's rate of improvement.
Hina did not want to be nothing more than a decorative vase, but aboard Arton's ship, she suspected she had little choice but to become one.
Fortunately, she had already thought the matter through. Being a decorative vase beside Arton was still far better than remaining imprisoned by the World Government on Enies Lobby or in some other prison.
Simply put, Hina now felt as though she would never marry anyone but him.
Looking at Tashigi's appearance, which combined sexiness and cuteness, Hina now wanted her own figure to reach the same level.
"Tashigi, the changes in your body must be related to the power Arton gave you, right?"
When Tashigi failed to answer, Hina repeated her question.
"Huh?" Tashigi blinked before quickly nodding. "Y-Yes, that's right."
Although she did not know what Hina was thinking, she had no intention of hiding anything now that Hina had asked.
Of course, she did not tell her everything.
As far as Tashigi was concerned, the dramatic changes in her body were indeed partly thanks to Arton.
Without his help nourishing and kneading her body, she would never have become so impressive.
"Sorry to interrupt your reunion."
Carina walked over and asked Hina curiously, "Miss Hina, what are you planning to do now that you've come aboard our ship?"
At her question, everyone on the ship turned to look at them.
For every member of the Flameblade Pirates, this was an important matter. It would determine what attitude they should adopt toward Hina from now on.
If Hina did not intend to join the Flameblade Pirates, Carina, Nami, and the others were even prepared to watch her around the clock to prevent her from using the voyage diary to inform Gion and the other female Marines of their movements.
Although Arton had a certain fondness for Hina, Carina, Nami, and the others felt no particular affection for her.
If Hina might pose a threat to the pirate crew, they would not hesitate to use force.
Fortunately, Hina's answer was exactly what Carina and the others wanted to hear.
"Senpais, please take care of me from now on."
Hina smiled at the members of the Flameblade Pirates standing on the deck.
"So you're planning to join us?"
Nami raised an eyebrow and glanced at Ain.
Ain smiled as well and nodded subtly.
"That's wonderful!" Uta raised both hands excitedly. "We have another new companion! We can hold a banquet!"
"Uta-san really does love banquets as much as ever."
Conis smiled.
"Of course! Banquets are the happiest things in the world."
Uta nodded emphatically, as though it were self-evident.
At a banquet, everyone could eat and drink to their heart's content and sing without restraint. More importantly, Uta could use her ability during the celebration and then become intimate with Arton inside the dream world.
Although doing so was somewhat unfair to everyone else, Uta felt that secretly sharing affection with Arton during a banquet was one of the happiest things imaginable.
The mere thought filled her with excitement.
Fortunately, Shanks did not know what was going through Uta's mind at that moment, nor did he know that she had already completely taken Arton's shape.
Otherwise, Shanks would probably have chased Arton down for a drink.
Of course, even if Shanks truly did so, Uta would most likely stand in his way.
In the end, Shanks had no choice but to acknowledge the bond between Uta and Arton.
After leaving her behind for so many years, even if he had his reasons, he no longer had much right to interfere with her.
Therefore, as long as Uta had chosen her man, Shanks—
"Who are these guys, Captain? Why did you bring them back?"
Nami looked curiously at Jabra and the others as she questioned Arton.
Although they had already guessed that Arton might have brought the men back because of Kalifa, it would have been inconvenient to mention that directly in front of him.
Aside from the voyage diary copy, they had no reason to know Kalifa.
They were not supposed to reveal anything related to the diary copies either.
"These guys?"
Arton glanced back at Jabra and the others before explaining, "They're merely a few people I needed to silence temporarily."
"Don't worry about them. Just find a room and keep them there."
"I believe they'll behave themselves and refrain from doing anything unnecessary."
Jabra nodded repeatedly. "Please rest assured. I absolutely won't do anything unnecessary."
He was not joking. Staying alive was what mattered now—how could he possibly dare to cause trouble?
