Chapter 1011: Chapter 1011: Enel’s Maneuver, Destroying the Giant Mirrors

"The ’former’ Four Sweet Commanders? Is this all they’ve got?"

Enel’s face was twisted in utter contempt as he kicked the body of Snack lying at his feet. "No wonder you were stripped of your rank. You’re pathetic compared to that mochi-loving bastard!"

Squelch—

Enel pulled his golden trident from Snack’s corpse, the steaming blood splattering across the ground. The docks were already a raging inferno, littered with scorched, charred bodies, and the wreckage of countless firearms and blades discarded in the slaughter.

A severely wounded Snack was no match for Enel, and the hundreds of pirates supporting him were nothing more than fodder. However, for the Big Mom Pirates, losing a former Sweet Commander, and the first major executive to fall since the start of the decisive battle, was an undeniably heavy blow to their morale. ℴ

"That’s one mirror down; seven more to go."

Enel scanned his surroundings with a cold, detached gaze. Holding his golden trident inverted, he unleashed his formidable Observation Haki, which rippled outward and engulfed the entire coastline in an instant.

On the night the Big Mom Pirates launched their raid on Unzan Port, they had initially brought only the single giant full-length mirror from the Germa Kingdom. As the battle intensified and the Big Mom Pirates found themselves at a disadvantage, they had deployed several more giant mirrors along the coast to accelerate troop reinforcements. Following the initial clash and the subsequent standoff, they had installed two additional mirrors on the dock, bringing the total to eight, all utilized for logistics and rapid troop deployment.

Zzzzt... Zzzzt—

Enel raised his hand, palm toward the sky. Brilliant, azure lightning gathered in his grip, glowing with blinding intensity and emitting a screeching sound like a thousand birds chirping in unison.

Rumble... Rumble—

High above, the storm clouds churned, emitting low, thunderous growls. Lightning danced sporadically through the dark canopy, as if answering Enel’s call.

"Water Shot!!!"

A sudden, sharp shout cut through the chaos.

Whoosh—

A piercing whistle broke the air as a globule of water, no larger than a child’s fist, streaked from the distance toward Enel’s chest.

A flash of lightning illuminated the air. An arc of electricity formed a protective barrier in front of Enel, vaporizing the water droplet instantly, the spray evaporating into steam under the intense heat of the thunderbolt.

Enel turned his head. A blue-skinned Fish-Man, a whale shark, came charging forward, coming to a halt twenty meters away.

"Jinbe, the Knight of the Sea!"

Enel narrowed his eyes, his gaze filled with murderous intent. "What’s this? Are you trying to stop me, too?"

"My apologies. I believe I understand your scheme," Jinbe said, his expression grim as he assumed his Fish-Man Karate stance. "But those mirrors aren’t just Big Mom’s path of retreat, they are the path of retreat for all my people, the Fish-Men!"

When Enel had raided the rear guard of the Big Mom Pirates, Jinbe had likely pieced together the Chris Pirates’ plan: lure Big Mom away, cut off the Big Mom Pirates’ escape route, and annihilate their entire force at Unzan Port in one fell swoop.

He had to admit, the Chris Pirates’ appetite was staggering. Did they truly believe that Golden Ring could defeat Big Mom, one of the Yonko? Regardless of whether their "King" could defeat her, the mere realization that the Chris Pirates intended to wipe out the entire Big Mom fleet left Jinbe shaken to his core.

Although he struggled to believe it, a deep, gnawing sense of unease settled in his chest, as if a great calamity were looming. This was the primary reason he had to stop Enel. One could never be too careful; if the Big Mom Pirates truly fell, their retreat route had to remain open.

Some might argue that Jinbe was a Fish-Man and could simply dive into the sea with the Sun Pirates. But the ocean was no sanctuary. The Chris Pirates counted Fish-Men among their ranks, and their slayer weapon, the ’Dragonian,’ was perfectly capable of underwater combat.

Furthermore, electricity conducts through seawater. If Enel increased his output, he could easily electrocute or incapacitate the Sun Pirates deep beneath the waves. Moreover, if Golden Ring Aeridar managed to defeat Big Mom, the Sun Pirates would be even more trapped. Unless they could flee into the deepest reaches of the ocean in seconds, the power of the Float-Float Fruit could float the seawater and the Fish-Men alike, while the vibrations from the Impact-Impact Fruit could easily trigger undersea quakes, slaughtering scores of marine life.

And if Golden Ring Aeridar pursued them personally? Even the deep sea wouldn’t be safe. With his mastery, he could plunge into the abyss without being swallowed by the ocean and hunt the Sun Pirates down one by one.

The more he thought about it, the more hopeless the situation appeared. Jinbe gritted his teeth, determined: "I must protect our escape route!"

As if reading Jinbe’s mind, a sinister smirk curled on Enel’s lips. "It’s pointless. Including the one I just shattered, every mirror is at least 500 meters apart, spanning a total of four kilometers. I know exactly where they are."

He leaned forward, his eyes mocking. "Tell me, can you keep up with my speed? Or are you going to block the lightning?"

"Yahahahaha—"

BOOM!

Enel burst into manic laughter. He pointed his right hand, crackling with electricity, toward the heavens, releasing a dazzling pillar of lightning that pierced the clouds like a shooting star, vanishing into the churning storm above.

"Damn it!"

Panic surged through Jinbe. He lunged forward, channeling every ounce of his strength into a single, devastating strike.

"Samegawara Seiken!!!" (Shark Fist Tile Breaker!)

Before his fist even arrived, a violent gust of wind howled outward, carrying the faint, rumbling sound of thunder, an indicator of the immense power behind the blow.

Enel merely sneered. He raised his golden trident with both hands, channeling a surge of intense lightning into the metal. As he swung, a blinding flash of light erupted. The extreme heat instantly liquefied the trident’s head, the molten gold stretching and curving mid-air to reshape itself into a red-hot golden greatblade.

CLANG—

In an instant, the scorching golden blade collided with Jinbe’s metallic, blackened fist, unleashing a deafening metallic roar.

A shockwave erupted from the point of impact, kicking up a violent torrent of dust and debris that swept outward. The ground beneath them collapsed under the pressure, spiderwebbing with cracks that splintered in every direction.

At that exact moment, the storm clouds above shattered with blinding light as seven bolts of lightning, each as thick as a barrel, descended in a perfectly aligned row. They struck the docks of the port with pinpoint accuracy.

BOOM!

A singular, thunderous detonation echoed across the harbor. In front of hundreds of shocked pirate guards, the seven remaining giant mirrors shattered into millions of shards, scattering like rain amidst the blinding glare of the lightning.

Back at the center of the battlefield, Katakuri’s eyes widened. He watched the seven bolts of lightning plummet from the clouds to the rear of the Big Mom Pirates’ camp. His sense of dread deepened.

According to his distance calculations, that area was the docks, the edge of the sea!

First, Golden Ring Aeridar had lured Big Mom there, and now, Enel had gone there as well. What kind of conspiracy was this? What could possibly be there that was worth such deliberate destruction?

"What... exactly are you two planning?" Katakuri’s gaze grew dark and icy as he swept his eyes across his two opponents:

Black Arm Zephyr!

And the Sand Crocodile, Sir Crocodile!
