Chapter 207: 207/I Love Both of Them!

Chapter 207

Stephanie’s point of view

A broken, bitter laugh escaped my lips. I twisted my head around, looking over my shoulder to eye him mockingly:

"Even after you just found out that I slept with your brother?"

In a flash of blind, unadulterated rage, Alexander whipped around toward the wall. He pulled his arm back and threw a devastating, bare-fisted punch straight into the solid structure.

The sheer force shattered the drywall with a sickening, terrifying crunch, sending white plaster dust flying over the floorboards. He snapped back toward me, his knuckles bleeding onto the floor as the veins on his face and forehead bulged violently, hollering in a tone dripping with pure madness and warning:

"Shut the hell up!" He raised his bloodied hand, pointing a rigid finger inches from my eyes. "Shut up and never let those filthy words cross your lips ever again!"

At that exact peak of our chaos, the bedroom door was violently and abruptly thrown open.

The intruder’s footsteps froze dead at the threshold. Cedric stood there, his chest heaving, his eyes locking onto ours in absolute bewilderment and paralyzing shock, having chased the echoes of his brother’s raging screams. He panted, his voice dropping to a breathless, low register:

"What the hell is happening between the two of you?!"

The air inside the bedroom instantly turned to ice, freezing our features entirely. Cedric’s frantic, confused gaze darted from his hyperventilating brother to the cracked, ruined drywall, then landed on my trembling body. He read the absolute collapse of our world in a single second. He took a cautious, highly guarded step over the threshold, his hands forming tight fists at his sides as an ominous tension rippled through his posture.

Alexander moved with agonizing slowness. He slowly uncoiled his bloodied fist, letting his arm drop to his side as the heavy, ragged sound of his breathing dominated the dead silence of the room. He didn’t look at his brother with any trace of his usual warmth; instead, he lunged forward with blinding, terrifying speed.

Before Cedric could even raise his arms to defend himself, Alexander’s fist connected brutally with his jaw.

The sheer force of the blow snapped Cedric’s head back violently. His boots scraped loudly against the floorboards as he staggered backward into the doorway, his shoulder slamming into the frame as he desperately fought to keep his balance from the pure shock and agony.

Alexander didn’t give him a single second to recover. He marched with wide, heavy strides, shoved Cedric fully inside the room, and grabbed the heavy brass handle. He slammed the door shut with a deafening bang, instantly turning the key inside the lock. The sharp metallic click sealed us in, ensuring no one from the mansion could interrupt.

He whipped back toward his brother, the blood from his knuckles smearing against the dark wood of the door as his eyes blazed with lethal sparks. He spat with pure, venomous malice:

"Did you actually fuck my wife, you bastard?!"

Cedric raised the back of his hand, wiping away a thin trail of blood trickling from the corner of his split lip. He stared at me, his eyes wide with absolute, paralyzing disbelief as the color completely drained from his face. His pupils darted around erratically, his mind frantically connecting the wrong dots. He panted out:

"Did..." He swallowed hard, his voice shaking. "...did Isabella tell you about this?"

Alexander froze dead in his tracks, his entire posture turning completely rigid. His eyes dilated in pure, unadulterated shock, a dangerous wave of mania washing over his features as his voice dropped to a lethal hiss:

"Isabella?!" He took a slow, predatory step toward Cedric. "Isabella knows about this filth too?!"

Realizing the catastrophic weight of his mistake, Cedric took a stumbling, frantic step backward, his back hitting a heavy armchair. He looked exactly like a predator that had walked straight into a neatly laid trap. He whispered in absolute horror:

"Then who the hell told you if it wasn’t her?!"

A dam broke inside me, and I burst into violent, uncontrollable tears. I sank onto my knees by the edge of the bed, burying my face in my hands, unable to withstand being suffocated between their agonizing, predatory stares. I shrieked through my choked sobs:

"I... I am the one who told him, Cedric!" I snapped my head up, my vision blurred by hot tears. "I put an end to this myself because I couldn’t bear to live under the weight of this wretched burden for another single second!"

Cedric snapped his head toward me, his features twisting into a mask of pure frustration.

He marched past Alexander, ignoring the danger, and grabbed the bedpost right above me, his voice sharp and aggressive:

"And why the hell would you confess to this in the first place?!" He gestured wildly toward Alexander. "He is your husband on paper only, Stephanie! Why are we fearing his reaction or justifying our steps to him like this?!"

A dark, bitter, mocking laugh tore from Alexander’s throat, echoing chillingly against the walls. He stepped between us, his towering shadow completely engulfing the space and forcing Cedric to step back. Fixing Cedric with a freezing stare that practically strangled the oxygen from the room, he murmured in an infuriatingly calm, gravelly rasp:

"Did she tell you I am her husband on paper only, my dear brother?"

He took another slow step, his gaze shifting sharply between the two of us, a lethal smile twisting his lips.

"And did she happen to mention to you that she fucks me constantly, and sleeps in my bed out of her own absolute free will, Cedric?!"

Cedric’s features completely collapsed, looking exactly like a man who had just received a physical blow that shattered his pride into dust. He turned his head toward me with agonizing slowness, his arms dropping heavily to his sides as he stared at my tear-stained cheeks. His voice left him in a fractured, ruined whisper:

"Did you... did you actually let him touch you?"

Right at that exact, fatal second, a barrage of violent, rapid blows rattled against the locked wooden door. The grandfather’s commanding, deeply anxious voice sliced through the wood from the outer hallway, penetrating our hell:

"Open this door immediately! What the hell is happening in there?! Open it now!"
