Kadi's shout left Igor dumbfounded; he never imagined Kadi would make such a choice.

He sensed Kadi's change but never thought that at this moment, Kadi would be so meticulous, finding the exit to this dark room through careful detail!

Igor's heart was complex at this moment; he hadn't anticipated this scene.

"What are you standing there for? Hurry up!" Kadi urged once again.

"Hmm!" Igor snapped out of it, wiped his face with his hand. Just now, he was a bit lost in thought, moved… At this moment, he couldn't waste the opportunity Kadi created for them; he hoisted the barely-breathing Xiso and walked forward.

"Nobody can get out of here!" Kuyi Tulan suddenly blocked Igor's path after freeing himself from the devouring flames.

"I told you, your opponent now is me!" Kadi lunged at Kuyi Tulan again with incredible speed, his body engulfed entirely by flames, his anger ready to unleash.

Kuyi Tulan hadn't expected Kadi to be so forceful; the intensity of the flames forced him to once again use those fragments to resist.

Igor took this opportunity to step into the Devil's Steps and reached the exit.

Sunlight slowly angled in, like hope finding continuation here.

This exit Kadi smashed open wasn't large, but the rays of sunlight assured Igor it was the passage to the outside…

"Don't think you can leave!" Kuyi Tulan cried hysterically, but Kadi persistently entangled him, the entire dark room marked with flames.

"Kadi!" Igor couldn't help but look back; he had already stepped into the exit, with Xiso still on his back.

"Stop talking, get out!" Kadi said succinctly, focusing most of his energy on dealing with Kuyi Tulan and having no time for Igor.

Seeing this, Igor said no more, silently wished for safety, and walked out carrying Xiso.

Your partner created this opportunity for you; you can't waste it.

Lingering and talking too much would only put Kadi at a disadvantage; Igor wouldn't make such a foolish move. So he decisively carried Xiso forward, no matter what difficulties he left behind for Kadi, he couldn't look back!

This was a choice, a decision Igor made in response to Kadi's choice. He couldn't dawdle or betray the chance Kadi fought for him.

He must walk forward without turning back, even if it pains him inside. This feeling was terrible, but he had to keep going. It was a tough decision but necessary to make.

If he lingered here, he would only add another Spirit Core to Kuyi Tulan, and he would become Kadi's burden. With him there, Kadi couldn't unleash his full firepower. Though the entire process was painful, Kadi still stood firmly there.

Igor walked out, though his pace appeared slow, he was indeed moving toward the exit.

Seeing the departing figures, Kadi felt relieved inside, even if a thorny enemy still stood before him.

Kuyi Tulan, entangled by Kadi's two surges of flame, albeit possessing the art to counter Devouring Power, couldn't manage both ends. He helplessly watched Igor and the others leave.

"I'm quite surprised you managed to get them out!" Kuyi Tulan said to Kadi after dealing with the flames, evidently shocked by the recent scene.

"That's the result of your arrogance." Kadi crossed his blades over his chest, his gaze unwavering.

Spirit Power was redundant for Kadi, its energy influence minimal. With Igor here, Kadi couldn't perform entirely, as each attack consumed the energy there.

Kadi could also sense these energies, finding that skills reliant on these energies were affected, feeling like strength unable to manifest; yet his innate traits remained largely unaffected.

"I must say, you still surprised me. You were supposed to be ruthless…" Kuyi Tulan searched through the Spirit's memories, aware of much about Kadi.

"Past matters need not be mentioned. After arriving at Guru Mountain, I was reborn; past rights and wrongs are history." Kadi told Kuyi Tulan.

"Hehe, the power within you is what I seek. You chose to stay, easing my burden." Kuyi Tulan was certainly interested in Kadi's power.

"I'm merely ensuring Igor and the others make it out, and you won't meet your goal; I won't cease resisting."

"Honestly, having such emotions makes you foolish; your power halved. You'd be better off handing control over to me." Kuyi Tulan's ambition wasn't small.

"You understand nothing; you know nothing. You're just something blinded by greed."

"Hum hum hum, what advantage do you think you have, just being a special existence?" Kuyi Tulan questioned.

"I have no advantage." Kadi paid no mind to Kuyi Tulan's nonsense, never one for idle talk; he was always an action-oriented person.

Spending time with Igor taught him many things; understanding sacrifice, what matters overall; he didn't regret his decision.

Furthermore, he always intended to give Kuyi Tulan a severe beating.

"Why continue here then? Give me all your power, so you can rest well…" Before Kuyi Tulan finished, a flame charged onto his face, mixed with a gust of blade wind.

"Ah, worthy of the Devouring Power, truly inexhaustible."

"You mentioned energy being finite, but my flame is infinite; unless I'm dead, I won't stop attacking." Kadi firmly expressed his point.

"Ho ho ho, you're indeed naive. Your flame is just Devouring Power, whereas I can freely create flammable materials over your power. Remember, I'm an Alchemist, I also know about trade-offs!"

Kuyi Tulan started laughing rampantly again, the dark room suddenly became oppressive, as Kadi's flames and Kuyi Tulan's flammable substances collided continuously, the fireworks-like splendor masked in this confined space.

Who knows who will ultimately crush who in this competition.

Kadi's instinct and Kuyi Tulan's ambition were intersecting; regardless of the result, this battle was destined to cause a sensation…
