One-Eyed Monster

Chapter 1365 - 1362: Struggle for Dominance

Kuyi Tulan's smile was rampant, seemingly disregarding everyone present.

"Be careful Kadi, he's no longer the Kuyi Tulan you knew!" Igor continued to warn Kadi, as Kadi had retreated to the back after the previous failed strike, now in a state of standoff.

Now Kadi understood clearly that he was the only combat force here, while Igor needed to protect Xiso diligently without distraction.

"I never thought that coming here would be like killing two birds with one stone," Kuyi Tulan said smugly. His words carried a hint of Spirit, indicating that the integration was harmonious, with little conflict.

"What do you mean!" Igor was very angry. Kuyi Tulan started with these inexplicable words, which left Igor displeased.

"He means me and Kadi..." Xiso whispered in Igor's ear.

Hearing this, Igor was startled. What did Kuyi Tulan mean by holding back just now? Was it referring to Senior Xiso? A multitude of questions arose in Igor's mind in an instant.

He initially thought that the first thing Kuyi Tulan would do after capturing the monsters from Guru Mountain would be to extract Spirit Cores. But why, after capturing Xiso, did he imprison him here and extract his blood and dried skin? What is his real purpose?

"Hehe haha, the mastermind is indeed formidable, deserving of the title, with a clear understanding of my intentions!" Kuyi Tulan didn't care about Kadi, who was deftly twirling the Butterfly Blades.

"Even such a small sound can be heard!" Igor was also surprised.

"Not just sounds, even what you think in your mind, I can know if I want," Kuyi Tulan sneered at Igor.

"What exactly do you want to do!" Kadi shouted, feeling very dissatisfied with this character.

"Just reclaiming what is mine, and making myself more perfect in the process!"

Kuyi Tulan's words remained cryptic, and nobody understood his true intentions. Xiso might know, but he was too weak now and found it hard to help in this situation.

"Let me show you what true power is!" Kuyi Tulan's face suddenly contorted fiercely as he raised his hands. In an instant, everything in the dark chamber began to float. The tubes and ropes that once bound Xiso suddenly recombined, demonstrating the power of Alchemy, and revealing Kuyi Tulan's immense strength.

The tubes abruptly attached to Kuyi Tulan, the extracted blood from Xiso, and those fragments were now being transmitted through those tubes to him. The process appeared quite disgusting.

"What are you doing!" Kadi rushed forward, wielding his blades, and the flames on his body flared up immediately, seemingly fueled by his anger.

Boom!

Kuyi Tulan waved his arm, unleashing a barrage of fragments. The fire on Kadi's body surged high before suddenly extinguishing. The intensity of the flames impacted Kadi, causing him to step back several paces.

"Kuyi Tulan, what are you up to!" Suddenly, a voice echoed in mid-air, seemingly emanating from Kuyi Tulan. Given the current situation, the voice sounded quite anxious.

Igor stabilized Xiso and exchanged glances with Kadi, not expecting such an occurrence. The Spirit within Kuyi Tulan had manifested again.

They were no match for this Spirit. Kuyi Tulan alone was troublesome, and now, with a stronger entity involved, it was as if adding fuel to fire!

Yet Igor felt a different vibe. Although the Spirit was strong, its mood suggested a kind of Initial Stage—something evidently apparent.

The Spirit's anxiety was discernible from its tone earlier.

What's the situation? Igor furrowed her brow, feeling something was amiss—utter chaos.

"Are you trying to create division?" The Spirit still questioned Kuyi Tulan, but Kuyi Tulan continued ignoring it, inputting those fragments and blood onto himself, as if they were critical assets.

"I have said many times, I am Kuyi Tulan, not some Shadow Ghost. I won't choose to integrate with you!" Kuyi Tulan's face contorted again, reclaiming verbal dominance.

"Heh, heh, hahaha, you Shadow Ghost are still serving me. I won't follow your instructions."

"I mentioned this was my contingency plan—a countermeasure to deal with you. Hahaha!" Kuyi Tulan was nearly maniacal, snickering incessantly.

Energetic waves surrounded him, forming a force that deterred Kadi and the others from approaching.

The blue flames on Kadi's body felt a sort of fear, continuously lowering its inherent momentum.

Igor and Kadi couldn't do anything at this moment, only cautiously observing everything while listening to Kuyi Tulan's soliloquy.

Evidently, Kuyi Tulan had completely seized control, refusing the Spirit to regain possession of his body.

"Comparing to the mastermind is just rhetoric. He possesses something I value, which you simply can't comprehend." Intense energy radiated from Kuyi Tulan, eager to disperse—an indication of energy out of control, but not from Kuyi Tulan himself.

"If I didn't mention the mastermind, you wouldn't have come over. Your curiosity about this matter is like a child's."

"Yes, now begins the struggle, but you can't do anything to me—everything tailored for you."

"The cemetery was a probe, also my underestimation. But I will never fail, for my understanding of you exceeds most others."

"Patience, avoidance—these were choices made at that moment. Now I'm reclaiming myself; you abandoned your own self, so what are you talking about?"

Kuyi Tulan seemed to be contending with someone—the Spirit—but now, the Spirit's voice is unheard, evidently suppressed with no rights to speak.

Thus, only Kuyi Tulan's monologue can be heard.

"You dare not return, I am the master of all; I am Kuyi Tulan."

Boom, another loud blast; Kuyi Tulan's energy erupted again, with blue flames now soaring.

"This..." Igor was immediately astonished, amazed at how Kuyi Tulan could summon such blue flames.

"It's not complete, not entirely his own..." Xiso quietly added once more.
