One-Eyed Monster
Chapter 1356 - 1353: The Struggle Begins (Part 2)
Although the Alchemists don't have the spare energy to manage Igor and his team, this doesn't mean Igor and his team can act freely.
The Alchemy Array forms Spirit Vision sharing through the Ant Connection Spell; as long as someone approaches this Alchemy Array, these array-setting Alchemists will sense it. If someone recklessly destroys this Alchemy Array, they will naturally be informed.
Now Igor and Kadi are in a state of probing. Because they don't know this is an Alchemy Array, they can only guess. Although Igor can clearly see the Energy Fluctuations and the way energy operates, such an array is still too complex, with these energies always chaotically arranged before Igor in irregular forms, making it difficult for him to find a suitable method to break it.
"The Spirit Power Fluctuations in this place are relatively strong, while here they are weaker..." Igor scratched his head; he was already a bit headache-ridden.
"Can we attack from the weaker energy edge? This way, we can break through."
"I think we should be more cautious; after all, we're not familiar with these things," Igor said.
"Be bold when necessary..." Kadi suggested to Igor, hoping his partner wouldn't keep hesitating.
"It's not a matter of boldness, Kadi." Igor widened his eyes at Kadi, then began explaining patiently.
"Look, although the energy activity in this area is not vibrant, its operational trajectory is quite orderly, without any tremors or deviations, as if it is deliberately running here."
"What does this imply?" Kadi was a bit unclear.
"This suggests that the weak link might be a trap," Igor whispered.
Kadi widened his eyes, not understanding Igor's explanation.
"Also, if we decide to break through, it will inevitably cause a big disturbance. A large disturbance will ruin things, and I don't want that."
"Why does a large disturbance ruin things?" Kadi wasn't too sure about the reason.
"Have you forgotten Princess Juliette's task for us? If we make too much of a commotion, it goes against Princess Juliette's instructions."
"Hmm?" Kadi seemed to have caught onto something.
"We mustn't forget we need to enter this experiment field quietly. We shouldn't ruin the entire plan because of impulsiveness!" Igor said seriously, obviously valuing this matter greatly.
At the mention of Princess Juliette, Kadi immediately quieted down. For some reason, he greatly respected Princess Juliette, and everything she said carried significant weight in his mind.
"Then we need to think carefully about how we can enter this Energy Circle silently!" Kadi remarked, now agreeing with Igor's idea.
The formation of the Alchemy Array doesn't require too many people to maintain it; as long as the Exchange Beast holds the position, it's enough.
Igor hadn't noticed the Ant Connection Spell in use within this Energy Fluctuation, perhaps because there had been too much energy used recently, causing him to forget many things, especially the original Spirit Power System.
Although the Spirit Power System is a derivative of energy usage, it is not entirely a replica of energy use; it contain its own elements. These elements have significant differences from energy operation, but Igor hasn't yet noticed where these differences lie.
Thus, they could only continue to linger around this place, exploring along the edges of this Alchemy Array.
If they could find an opportunity to delve in, maybe they could identify the characteristics of the Ant Connection Spell. At that time, Igor might discover the pattern within it.
Many times, coincidence arrives unknowingly; Igor and Kadi hadn't thought of the Ant Connection Spell's aspect, nor would they consider this aspect, but the Alchemy Array is maintained by the Exchange Beast, which doesn't hide its position like the Hunter; unconsciously, it revealed its location.
"Why did animals that only appear during the Deep Winter Season occur here?" Kadi exclaimed in surprise when he saw a snow rabbit.
"It doesn't just appear in the Deep Winter; it's just more active during that time!" Igor corrected Kadi's statement.
"But it also seems strange for an animal to appear in this place!" Kadi's perspective seemed somewhat different.
At this moment, Igor finally regained his senses; he suddenly remembered that during previous observations, there was no sign of life here. A rabbit suddenly appearing seemed abnormal.
So Igor once more employed his probing senses, ultimately discovering that this rabbit lacked any life force, completely existing like a Dead Object.
Could this rabbit be an Exchange Beast? Igor grew suspicious, and he began to investigate further.
Upon confirming the rabbit was an Exchange Beast, Igor launched a new round of inspection around the rabbit, discovering many Exchange Beasts nearby.
With so many Exchange Beasts positioned without moving, it was clearly deliberate!
What on earth was going on? Igor furrowed his brows.
Could this be a formation? Were these Exchange Beasts the key to the formation?
Igor gradually approached the crucial point, eventually realizing that this might actually be the case!
"Kadi, let's give it a try!"
"Huh?" Kadi found Igor's sudden exuberance inexplicable; why did he suddenly feel so excited?
But Kadi never rejected Igor's request; he felt each of Igor's decisions had immense reasoning.
Meanwhile, the Golden Seats of the Alchemy Workshop involved with the Kangen Family felt a wave of abnormality.
"Not good!" Milo muttered to himself, fighting and retreating simultaneously.
Even the experts of the attacking side sensed the Alchemy Array was under disruption, appearing to have someone find the pillars of the array!
"Where are you going!" The Kangen Family members wouldn't let these Golden Seats leave, as Old Cole led several White Robe Wizards to surround them.
"We don't have the time to play with you!"
"Play?" Patrick shrugged, "Now is the time for contention; saying 'play' now, really lacks respect for people!"
The Kangen Family could see from the Golden Seats' behavior that Igor and his team had already entered the experiment field. So, at this moment, they wouldn't easily allow these people to leave.
Just like Patrick said, the struggle has just begun!
