Chapter 1245 - 1241: The Relentlessness of Igor and Kadi

Without a word, the figure carried Coban Kangen away, which Igor and Kadi never anticipated.

By the time they realized, the figure had already run out of the church doors!

"Stop!" Igor shouted as he chased after, Kadi naturally following closely behind.

The shadowy figure showed no intention of stopping and continued to run.

Just as Igor and Kadi ran out of the church, a wall appeared before them.

"Everything that hinders must be cut down!" Kadi shouted, not taking the obstruction to heart.

With a rumble, the dirt-formed barrier wall was shattered to pieces by Kadi's Butterfly Blades, turning instantly to nothingness.

Yet, this change didn't stop the person carrying Coban Kangen; there wasn't even a moment's hesitation.

It seemed that the figure had been given a death order to take Coban Kangen away at all costs.

Igor and Kadi were relentless in their pursuit, but before they could take two steps, another obstacle blocked them.

It was Ice Arrows, countless of them coming straight at Igor and Kadi, as if to pierce them like a sieve.

These Ice Arrows came fast, intending to catch Igor and his companion off guard.

Igor immediately reacted, creating a Spirit Defense Shield over himself and Kadi, then wielded his Meteor Sword, with its Sword Qi swiftly dispelling the arrows until they vanished without a trace.

"This is, a Water Wizard?" Igor was astonished once more.

The Ice Arrows crafted by this Water Wizard also failed to stop Igor and Kadi; although the process wasn't long, it gave the figure with Coban Kangen time to widen the gap between them and Igor and Kadi.

It was clear to Igor that the opponent intended to abduct Coban Kangen; they couldn't let the only person familiar to them on Bayes Avenue disappear before their eyes.

Igor and Kadi were clear about this fact, yet they couldn't comprehend why Coban Kangen had no reaction while being taken away.

Wasn't that guy a Fighter, sleeping unknowingly and at others' mercy?

Igor couldn't figure this out, but with Coban Kangen being taken away, he couldn't remain indifferent.

Coban was their friend and a key figure in the success of his plan; without Coban, they couldn't even enter the Kangen Family's gates!

How could they talk about implementing any chaotic plans if they couldn't get through the door!

"What the hell is happening, why are Wizards besieging us!" Kadi, beside Igor's stream of exclamations, voiced a doubt.

"Keep pursuing!" Seeing the shadow with Coban Kangen getting farther away, Igor didn't have time to dwell on Kadi's doubts and pressed on, focusing on rescuing his companion.

But just then, a strong wind blew, making it difficult for them to move forward.

"This time, it's a Wind Wizard!" Igor instinctively reacted and informed Kadi.

"Damn, is this the Wizard Alliance capturing Coban Kangen? It sure seems like it!" Kadi was shocked.

"It's unclear who it is, but during this time, we must stick to what needs doing!" Igor reminded Kadi not to be confused by the scenes before them.

This strong wind, like the previous fireballs and ice arrows, aimed to obstruct Igor and Kadi from catching up front.

Now this fierce wind achieved its goal, bringing Igor and Kadi to a temporary halt.

"Cut through the wind!" Igor shouted, bracing against the wind, continually reminding Kadi.

Kadi wanted to sever the wind, but wind is formless and shapeless, leaving Kadi without a target.

"Impossible!" Kadi admitted frankly.

Igor closed his eyes; he had to find a way to overcome this wind, or else his friend Coban Kangen would disappear from their sight!

The invisible, formless wind was indeed a powerful obstacle, unwavered to stop them from advancing.

"Remember, the greatest flaw of wind is its unpredictability!"

Igor suddenly recalled Yuga's words. Yuga, the Wind Wizard, was undoubtedly the best in controlling wind across the continent. During their training at Guru Mountain, Yuga taught them a fair share about the natural powers of wizards.

Remembering this at this moment, Igor felt ecstatic.

"Kadi, unleash your fire!"
