OMG! Tyrant's Pampered Baby Is a Valued Princess
Chapter 1542: Call Lord Demon Like Everyone Else
Zhi’er noticed his unusual mood and stood up cautiously, taking two steps back.
Feng Fuce entered and closed the door behind him, "Are you afraid of me?"
Zhi’er’s dark eyes flickered uncertainly, "No, I just don’t want to have my neck squeezed by you again."
Fuce: ...
The sneer he feigned vanished in an instant.
His handsome, cold face resumed its indifferent and emotionless expression.
He did not answer Zhi’er’s question and spoke directly, "On the day of the Red Lotus Banquet in three days, you will accompany me."
Zhi’er was taken aback, "Can’t you go by yourself?"
Her tone was too matter-of-fact, not at all like a prisoner.
Fuce was a bit annoyed, "It’s an order for you to accompany me, not open to discussion."
Zhi’er bit her lower lip.
Since she bore the Demon Fetus, perhaps due to maternal instincts, she was wary of the fierce demons.
Several times, those demons had shouted at her window.
She would suddenly wake up in the middle of the night.
The grass spirit discovered this twice, and maybe informed Fuce, as she no longer heard demons yelling insults at her window anymore.
Remembering her promise to Fuce that no matter how he tormented her, she would not complain.
Thus, she could only nod silently, "I understand."
Fuce’s gaze followed down her neck.
The clothes she wore were brought by the grass spirit, robes from the Demon World.
The characteristic was that they were scantily clad, exposing too much.
Zhi’er’s chest was snow white, and her arms were barely covered by thin gauze.
Fuce realized she had nothing suitable to wear for the event, so he turned and opened the door, instructing the guards outside to prepare suitable clothing.
He then noticed her loose hair.
He remembered Zhi’er loved cleanliness the most; when she was a child, if her white boots got dirty, she would be upset for quite a while.
The Jade and Pearl Earrings on her head were never absent.
Fuce focused on her dark hair, as if considering what hair accessory to prepare for her.
Zhi’er blinked her long lashes carefully, "I want a jade hairpin..."
Fuce first uttered a sound of agreement.
Soon, he snapped back to reality.
"Stop overstepping your boundaries with demands; wear whatever you’re given. If you look ragged and shabby, I’m merely preventing you from losing face," Fuce said, preparing to leave.
Just then, Zhi’er suddenly called to him, "Feng Fuce!"
His steps halted, he slightly turned his gaze, his tone icy, "Didn’t I say you’re not allowed to call my name? Didn’t the grass spirit teach you manners?"
"Call me Lord Demon like everyone else. If you don’t know, learn it."
Zhi’er’s eyes darkened, yet she still replied, "Thank you."
Fuce let out a cold chuckle and walked away.
By the afternoon.
Zhu Yan brought in a team of demon soldiers, carrying four boxes.
The grass spirit opened them with a "Wow."
The four boxes were full of Jade, and below were many colorful gems.
Zhu Yan glared at Zhi’er in annoyance, "I’m telling you to know your status! You are no longer the Heavenly Dao but a prisoner captured by our Lord Demon!"
"What gives you the right to say something and have Lord Demon search the entire Demon World to bring you these Jade stones?"
"I warn you to behave wisely in the future. If you make excessive demands again, don’t blame me, Zhu Yan, for being rude to you!"
Zhi’er seemed not to hear.
She merely bent down, her plain hands picking through the boxes.
Ultimately, she took out a White Jade Hairpin.
"I only need this; take the rest away," she said.
Zhu Yan was stunned.
