Chapter 3048: Atmospheric Control

Adrian actually coughed when he saw the control panel as it was basically modified like a kid’s toy panel. He even wanted to laugh at the cute and childish design but he stopped himself because he was the only one that could see it. This meant that he was being treated like a child by the game’s dedicated artificial intelligence.

"Never mind about the look as the important thing is the fact that I can perfectly control it without any problem." Adrian stated as he proceeded to check the list of weather conditions that he can actually use.

-Locked (Can be unlocked after 15 days)

"So, the other weather conditions are locked because the territory core is still absorbing the dungeon core. I guess that is a restriction that is fine since I am getting supplied with energy in return which means less expense. I should try the other weather conditions just to be sure." Adrian stated as he proceeded to click on one of the weather conditions.

[You have changed the current weather for Avalon using the Atmospheric Control Panel.]

[Current Weather will now be changed to Fair Weather.]

As soon as Adrian clicked on the panel and the notifications appeared, a runic magic circle actually appeared in the main island that covered it entirely. The runic magic circle then fired a beam of light towards the sky as if it sent a signal to the atmosphere to change. All of the people in Avalon saw the beam of light since they are not really obstructed by the perception reduction since they are inside the territory.

The sea of clouds that surrounded Avalon suddenly started to thin out. The thick and plump clouds became thin strands just like feathers in the wind. Avalon that was not visible from the outside could suddenly be seen once more. The people from outside the territory that wondered where Avalon went are now in disbelief as the floating islands appeared before them once again.

Weather Description: A gentle weather condition that gives a slight charm and gives a relaxing effect to those that are weary.

[Avalon has gained a temporary buff due to the current weather.]

[All of the people of Avalon will have 10% increase in stamina regeneration.]

[All people that have full stamina and stay for more than an hour in Avalon will gain a 5% increase in stamina regeneration for one day.]

[All registered citizen of Avalon will gain double the effects of the Atmospheric Buff.]

[Only one Atmospheric Buff can be active per person.]

"What did you just do? Did you activate a weather spell formation?" Elder Ascalor stated in shock.

"If you call it that then I just did. It is one of the perks that the territory got after absorbing the dungeon core. The benefits are not that impressive if you ask me but the five weeks of no monster cores to feed it seems worth it." Adrian stated as he was looking at the panel while the three elders were stopping themselves from hitting him.

"This brat! Do you think that anyone can control the weather?! Even gods need to pour considerable amounts of divine energy just to change an area! But you actually changed it by just telling your territory to change it!" Elder Ascalor thought as he was being held back by Elder Bronx.

"I really should have pushed to look into that dungeon core! Who knew that it could have such grand effects! It is now a waste to just feed it to a territory core." Elder Koronn thought as he curled up in a corner for missing out.

"You know that the kid is actually very young compared to us. He does not know that the thing he did is actually very incredible. You should explain to him instead of suddenly having a fit of rage." Elder Bronx whispered to Elder Ascalor.

"You are right. The brat is always level headed to a point that I look at him like he is an adult demon that lived for a thousand years." Elder Ascalor replied.

"Ooh! Let me check the Clear Skies with Slight Sun." Adrian stated as he changed the weather once again.

Current Weather: Clear Skies with Slight Sun

Weather Description: Clear skies that makes all see the blue sky along with gentle sunlight that gives slight warmth to the skin. It is slightly purifying but also gives some gentle strength.

[All of the people of Avalon will have illness and status ailments be slowly cleansed.]

[All people that have full health and stay for more than an hour in Avalon will gain a 5% increase in damage for one day.]

[All registered citizen of Avalon will gain double the effects of the Atmospheric Buff.]

[Only one Atmospheric Buff can be active per person. Any existing Atmospheric Buff will be cleared and be replaced.]

The runic magic circle lit up once more and the magic circle fired another beam to the sky. As soon as the beam vanished, the feathery clouds suddenly melted away to reveal a beautiful azure sky free from any impurities. A little later, a gentle beam of sunlight came down on Avalon that gave a warm feeling.

The gentle sunlight did not harm or blind anyone in the eyes as it felt like there was a layer of clouds above that filtered the harmful rays of the sun. The ones that became active are the people that thrive through sunlight like the dryads and leshy that live in Avalon. All of them actually came out of their tree bodies to bask in the light. All of the dryads and leshy actually began sunbathing in the island where their trees are planted.

[Unexpected Buff! All herbs and plant life in Avalon will have a 10% increase in growth rate due to the current weather.]

[You have changed the weather two times using the Atmospheric Control Panel. You can change the weather again after six hours.]

[You can also set a preset weather condition to run after six hours. If no preset weather condition is set, the current weather condition will continue until nightfall.]

"A cooldown? It seems that the weather changing magic circle cannot be used continuously. Then again, six hours is not that long a time to wait and the current weather actually is beneficial to Avalon. I can even preset what weather I like which is good but the other options are still locked." Adrian stated while the three Daemos Elders were looking at him like they have seen a god.

"Did the brat just change the weather again?" Elder Ascalor asked Elder Bronx.

"He did. It changed instantly again." Elder Bronx replied.

"I really should have studied that dungeon core first." Elder Koronn whimpered as he lost such a good research material.

While the three Daemos Elders were thinking of giving Adrian a crash course on forceful weather changes, the citizen and visitors of Avalon could not believe their eyes. All of them received another stacking buff jut by hanging out in Avalon. All of the players suddenly had this fierce determination to stay in Avalon for an hour just to get the buff.

The players liked the first buff as it provided increase in stamina regeneration but the second buff almost made them feral. A 5% flat damage buff is something very precious as it basically increases all damage by that amount. They did not even need to drink a potion but just needed to stay put in Avalon for an hour.

One hour of time is good for them as they can just let that time fly by restocking and taking a tour in Avalon. It is not like the territory has little to do at all as Avalon has lots of activities that are beneficial to them as there are a lot of unique races living here. Adrian did not know but that day actually had an increase in foot traffic and spending on Avalon just because of a 5% flat damage buff.

The visitors were satisfied with the flat 5% damage buff but they were still envious of the true ones that benefit the most. The players that were already citizens of Avalon were grinning ear to ear as they got a flat 10% damage buff which is equivalent to an Epic Tier buffing spell. Due to this, a lot of players started to rally and went to the city hall to file for citizenship. The officials at city hall gave Adrian an earful when he visited because they were not ready for such a ruckus that their territory lord created.
