Chapter 3046: Storm Cloud Ravine Dungeon Core II

"Anyways, any idea on this thing? How can a dungeon form a core? I thought that the laws of dungeons are made by a god that has already died. The law of that god was not passed down to other gods which made the other gods unable to stop dungeons from spawning when mana naturally gathers." Adrian stated.

"Why are you asking us this? You are the ones that are the closest to the gods. We barely pray to any of them at all." Elder Koronn stated.

"I never liked the gods because of what happened back then. I do not even spare them a glance and only acknowledge them or respect the beliefs of others." Elder Ascalor added.

"I am also not a firm believer of the gods. You do know that the gods abandoned us back then when that ruined goddess of light rose to prominent power." Elder Bronx stated.

Adrian knew what the elders were talking about and it occurred when they were persecuted. The gods basically abandoned any blessings to the Daemos as a result of the heavy burden done by the Church of Light back then. Any god or church that tried to smooth it out would be persecuted or plotted against.

The Gods of Life can barely defend against the Church of Life back then as their influence has decreased. Elves might have long lifespans but they did not procreate a lot and barely any human follows the Gods of Life in depth. The gods of death were basically forgotten by the humans hence their influence is also shallow and unable to oppose the Church of Light.

Due to the persecution of the Daemos, they decided to become a race that did not rely on any gods. Then again, the Daemos are part of the Asmodian race and really did not need the grace of a god to survive. It is only when Adrian appeared did the Church of Life and Death began to climb hence the perception of the Daemos changed.

"I tried asking the gods but their speech would get muffled even if they answer me. It seems there is a higher power that prevents me from learning of the truth with this dungeon core." Adrian stated.

"It must be the Authority Law of the Dungeon that makes you unable to perceive what the gods are saying. Look at this dungeon core, the runes embedded on this surely has to be made by a god that is at the peak of being a High God or even stronger. Learning the truth about this dungeon core would mean learning the truth about the universe." Elder Koronn pointed out.

"In other words, you best believe that you cannot understand this thing or how it is made. Unless you become a High God, you will not be able to even analyze this thing." Elder Ascalor stated.

"You did say that the territory core is eyeing this thing. It might be better to feed this thing to territory core than let it be in suspended space, time, and force. Might as well make it benefit the territory as you have no other ways in dealing with it." Elder Bronx added.

"I can use it to create a dungeon!" Adrian stated as he raised his hand.

"ABSOLUTELY NOT!" The Three Daemos Elders shouted simultaneously as if they have already practiced it beforehand.

"Do you know how damaging that dungeon is in the area in it?! It would basically rearrange the atmosphere! Creating that dungeon here would basically ruin Avalon in the long term." Elder Ascalor objected.

"It would create a vortex energy storm that sucks in everything that is essential. Do you know why the land below the forbidden dungeon was barren? That dungeon is a giant funnel that sucked in all the energy in the area. Based on what you said, all of the energy sucked in was used to create that storm cloud wall. You cannot summon that in the territory at all or else everything will be thrown into disarray." Elder Koronn added.

"I am with the two of them on this one. These things are not like what you did with the other dungeons in the territory. This is a legitimate dungeon core that has laws of the world already written on it." Elder Bronx stated.

"All of you are right. I actually forgot to read the fine line that there was no way that I can control this dungeon if I spawned it. They are not like the dungeons that was created in the territory hence it is part of it. If this dungeon is spawned above us then it will become an independent area that is free from our influence.

I might be able to control where it is placed but there is nothing saying that I can control everything inside of it. I guess the only thing that I can do is truly dump it into the territory core." Adrian stated.

"Why not let me borrow it for a bit so I can study it?" Elder Koronn stated as he suddenly looked very interested in researching the dungeon core.

"Do not even dare to do that old man! You are still researching five different things and none of them have any results! You should at least finish three projects before taking on another. The others at you research tower are practically begging me to make you finish some!" Elder Ascalor berated Elder Koronn.

"He has always been like that when it comes to things that interest him. He would do them all and then complain that he has too much to do when it was his fault to begin with." Elder Bronx added.

"I am not a scatter brain! The hip youngsters told me that I just have this trait that makes me hyperactive with things that I want to do. I am also a little impulsive because it interests me. With so many things that I want to do, I just space out a little that is all." Elder Koronn explained but Elder Ascalor was not falling for it and started another round of sermons.

"Since it is practically decided that I will feed the core to the territory core, I will head there at once. Will the other elders come with me or should I just start it all alone?" Adrian finally asked as the three started bickering.

"I will surely come! I cannot miss something this exciting after all!" Elder Koronn stated.

"If that fool will come then I shall come a well." Elder Ascalor replied calmly.

"If I am not there then I would feel left out so I shall come as well just in case I am needed. We do not know what will happen if the territory core absorbs that dungeon core." Elder Bronx stated.

As all three Daemos Elders agreed, Adrian created the rift for them to pass through. They arrived at the special designated place of the entire territory. The core room is only open to Adrian and the Daemos Elders as a precaution. Even Adrian’s other guild members cannot enter this room without his explicit permission as he holds the rights.

Adrian even made a precaution that even the elders would need at least two of them to be given passage. Only he alone can enter the core room without any problems as destroying this core would spell doom for Avalon after all. It will not just make the entire territory plunge down but it will also make all the islands crumble into dust.

"This is the core?" Elder Ascalor asked in surprise.

"What happened? Did the core mutate because of the properties of chaos energy?" Elder Koronn stated as if he has another interesting subject to inspect and research.

"The territory core has become a thing with two states. It is no longer the solid object it once was." Elder Bronx deduced immediately.

Elder Bronx was not wrong in saying that the Avalon Core has become an item that has both solid and liquid states. When it is in solid state, it will form a spherical core that makes it an item that can be wielded by the territory lord. When it is in liquid state, it has wonderous abilities that protects it from being totally smashed if an enemy approaches it.

"It changed because it cannot perfectly handle chaos energy if it does not. It also became even gluttonous compared to before as it now takes 10% more magic stones to refresh its energy. It burns through my wallet the most." Adrian explained as he controlled the dungeon core and is about to toss it towards the Avalon core when Elder Ascalor made it stop halfway.

"Do not just throw it casually! We do not know if this will even work so you should lower it bit by bit like testing the waters." Elder Ascalor shouted as he did not think that Adrian would just throw it directly.

"To much hassle. Let us just get this over with." Adrian stated as he touched the dungeon core and tossed it directly towards the Avalon core.
