Chapter 2685: Fallen God Izanagi II

Arrows made of death energy danced in the sky as Pana himself had to defend Musika. Basil also provided decent support as she targeted the backside of the Fallen God Izanagi. Even if the Fallen God Izanagi manages to block all of their attacks, it also prevented him from attacking Musika. One minutes might be a short amount of time but it is considered a long time when going against a god.

The Fallen God Izanagi suddenly saw that the muse that they have on the team was doing something that is bending causality. It was the same thing that he is doing as the Muses are often called the Mystical Ladies. They are also beings that have different iterations in every legend as they are prominently called the Collective Goddess or Fairies depending on the area. It also means that they have a special power that can overturn phenomena as they are beings that can be said to be integral parts of the world.

“I should no longer waste any more time. Come my spear!” The Fallen God Izanagi stated as he forcefully recovered his spear from Ark.

Just as the Fallen God Izanagi is trying to recover his spear, he suddenly felt a resistance. A force was locking his spear in place and he looked towards the direction of Ark. The Fallen God Izanagi could see that the celestial that he thought has weakened to be grasping at his spear. Ark was making sure that the Fallen God Izanagi will never regain his weapon even if it meant having it being embedded on his body for eternity.

“You dare prevent me from regaining my weapon!” The Fallen God Izanagi shouted as he knew that he cannot regain his weapon using normal means.

The Fallen God Izanagi immediately decided to make part of his divine energy he coated his weapon with to explode. Even if it meant losing another portion of his divine energy, he is much stronger with his weapon. The explosion would also kill Ark in the process which would also benefit the Fallen God Izanagi greatly. The only reason that he did not do so earlier is the fact that he would be weakened for a few seconds if he did such a thing.

“If you wish to prevent me from regaining my weapon. Then, you can die!” The Fallen God Izanagi stated as he concentrated energy into his hands and started to make the divine energy coating his weapon to overload.

“It is done. It is time for the grand performance!” Musika stated as her harp suddenly started to morph into a large cello and her dress started to become blood red.

Musika’s clothes suddenly transformed to that of a red bird as her body suddenly got lifted into the air. Red wings then became a blindfold to her eyes as a plume dress made her look elegant. Her weapon suddenly became a large cello where she started to prepare for the music that she is now going to play.

The Fallen God Izanagi suddenly turned to look at Musika as she now exuded power that is not something a mortal should bear. He suddenly had this foreboding feeling that he might die if he did not kill the muse now. He still wanted to trap the muse and use her ability to overturn causality to free him from the control of the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong.

“I need to kill her now!” The Fallen God Izanagi stated as he forcefully used more divine energy than he thought to recover his spear.

The spear exploded with divine energy which actually did not kill Ark but he is gravely injured and has reverted back to his original form. Ark looked like he would die as time passed due to him experiencing severe blood loss. The Fallen God Izanagi felt some of his divine energy suddenly vanishing but he managed to regain his spear.

As soon as he regained his spear, he then released an attack towards Basil that actually created a large cut on her body. Basil is unable to defend herself even with her thick dragon skin and fell to the ground. She was not dead yet as the Fallen God Izanagi focused more on Musika than others.

As soon as Basil was down, the Fallen God Izanagi immediately tossed his spear towards Musika as it seems that her skill has yet to fully manifest. Pana gritted his teeth and redirected what is left of his death arrows to intercept the spear but it was not enough to stop it. The spear destroyed all of the arrows and traps along the way which made Pana do something drastic.

Just as the spear was about to hit Musika, Pana stood in the way to block the attack. The spear punched a hole right through his chest but he gritted his teeth. He was able to stop the spear of a greater god with his body. Musika is shocked of what Pana did but she did not falter as she knew that his sacrifice would be in vain if she did not use the skill now.

Musika then played the first note of the score and the entire area suddenly shivered. A rift suddenly started to appear in the sky as a being that should not be from this world pierced through it. A feminine humanoid being dressed in the same red motif that Musika is wearing came out of the rift. This rift is not like a crack in space but a doorway to another dimension.

As soon as the rift opened, Musika started to play earnestly as the area suddenly started to hear an aria. The song could be heard as soon as this female humanoid being came out of the rift. This being exuded the aura of a Greater God but even the Fallen God Izanagi shivered upon seeing this being.

Just as the name suggests, the being that Musika called upon is called the Prima Ballerina. This being looked humanoid but the features are more like a mannequin due to the fact that it has no facial features. The hands have razor sharp claws and her feet were like blades that can slice through anything. She also has this red lily motif on her dress which is contrast to what Musika is wearing as she wore a red bird motif dress.

“I believe in you.” Pana stated as his body fell to the ground and turned to particles of light.

“I shall make sure that the stage that you have prepared for me will be last for our enemy.” Musika stated as she immediately played the song that is buzzing in her head.

The Fallen God Izanagi did not know why but he felt uneasy with the appearance of the Prima Ballerina. He knew something was off with that being but he could not know what. His divine senses were telling him to escape though which he also thought of. Just as he is about to retrieve his spear, he suddenly heard a very sharp note playing. In an instant, the Prima Ballerina appeared before him.

“What!?” The Fallen God Izanagi exclaimed but he was already too late.

The Prima Ballerina lifted its leg up high and performed a powerful slash downwards. The Fallen God Izanagi thought that he could block it just by fortifying his divine power but he screamed in pain. A large slash suddenly appeared on his chest that ran until his left thigh. Golden blood came out of the wounds of the Fallen God Izanagi as the force of the attack from the Prima Ballerina forced him down to the ground.

The Fallen God Izanagi instantly used his divine energy to recover from the attack but he then heard a low note. Suddenly, the Prima Ballerina appeared next to him on the ground in a dancing pose. The music then continued and the Prima Ballerina proceeded to attack the Fallen God Izanagi even if he was down on the ground. The Fallen God Izanagi has forgotten that he is a god as he actually rolled over on the ground to evade the relentless pursuit of the bladed legs of the Prima Ballerina.

The neat looking Fallen God Izanagi started to look like a homeless person as his clothes became dirty and even his hair became untidy. The dust that clung to his body could be seen all over just because he is trying to not get pierced by the bladed legs of the Prima Ballerina. The Fallen God Izanagi has learned something from the fight against the being that the muse summoned and it is being controlled by the music being played by its summoner.

“I shall not be the one to roll on the ground for nothing!” The Fallen God Izanagi thought to himself as he gathered some divine energy to control his spear using his mind. He aimed it directly at Musika as she was not being protected.
