Chapter 2684: Fallen God Izanagi I

[You have killed the Falle Goddess Izanami.]

The soul of the Fallen Goddess Izanami came out of her divine body that is now charred to dust. She was at least thankful that the Flames of Judgement that was given to the necromancer was not at its full power. This was a powerful flame that could destroy souls after all but she was thankful for that as she can now escape.

“I thought that will not be able to escape but it seems that I still have my luck! I will not return to the afterlife!” The soul of Fallen Goddess Izanami stated as she tried to find a temporary host body that she can possess.

Just as the Falle Goddess Izanami is about to enter the body of a barely alive Immortal, her soul suddenly got combusted into flames once again. Unlike the flames that Creepysoo used, the flames that burned her were painful but is not damaging her spiritual body. She thought that it was the necromancer that did this and was not satisfied with destroying her body but she was mistaken.

The Fallen Goddess Izanami froze in fear when she saw that the necromancer was passed out. If the necromancer was passed out then the only one that could use these flames was King Yama himself. The Fallen Goddess Izanami suddenly felt intense fear that she believed she already forgotten. The soul that is now being burned is frozen as shock froze her thinking capabilities.

“NO! IT CANNOT BE! THIS SHOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE! YOU CANNOT BE HERE!” The Fallen Goddess Izanami shouted as she already glimpsed at the figure of the being that she never wants to meet ever again.

“It has been a long time, Izanami. Unlike before, the contract binding your soul is no longer in place. I can now freely harvest your souls once all of you have died. I guess giving that kid some of my authority paid off.” King Yama stated as he looked at the Fallen Goddess Izanami and made his presence known.

“NOOO!” The Fallen Goddess Izanami shouted as she tried escaping in the other direction but flaming hands suddenly sprouted from the ground to drag her soul to the eastern underworld.

The screams of the Fallen Goddess Izanami vanished as she got sent directly to the underworld without any resistance. King Yama then looked towards Creepysoo and they found themselves staring at each other. King Yama thought that it should be impossible for Creepysoo to see him as he should be invisible even to him.

“I thought I the god that lent me their power.” Creepysoo muttered as he finally passed out from using such power equal to a god.

“My wife died once again. Then again, she will find a way to escape using her divine soul. We shall just meet later.” The Fallen God Izanagi stated as he is now before the four that attacked him earlier and killed him.

Unlike before, the Fallen God Izanagi is no longer as weak as he was and Ark’s group is now under his mercy. Ark already used his own domain but the strength of the Fallen God Izanagi is nothing like before. The Fallen God Izanagi now had domineering strength and the ability to bend the things around him to his will. He is now a greater god after all and he is the only one of the Four Demonic Generals that can bypass the restriction of the restored Seal of Four Directions.

“If I was not at this strength then I would have been suppressed just like the others but I am not. I am not like the other three that relies on power as I have perfect control over everything around me.” The Fallen God Izanagi stated as he regained both his powers as the God of Light and a God of Life.

The ability to bend the natural order according to his will is the most powerful thing that a god of life could do. This ability is not easy to control or use though as it uses a lot of energy to even bend the rules. The Fallen God Izanagi was able to do it freely earlier as he was powered by the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong but that is not the case now.

“I should at least be thankful that I managed to find them and defeat most of them before my power supply was cut off.” The Fallen God Izanagi thought as he is now running a bit low on divine power.

Ark could be seen on a crater on the ground and is being pierced by the spear of the Fallen God Izanagi. He is still alive because he activated his life saving skill that turns his body into the light and dark element. The only problem is that he is being bound by the spear of the Fallen God Izanagi and could not move. Still, the Fallen God Izanagi believe that he can just kill Ark later once he finished off the others.

“If I try to get my spear the that celestial will just heal himself back. I will have my spear bind him and kill him slowly instead.” The Fallen God Izanagi muttered as his eyes looked at the others.

With Ark gone, the Fallen God Izanagi targeted the next dangerous being in his eyes. The Mother of Dragons became the next target of the Fallen God Izanagi. He managed to battle against the Mother of Dragons with ease even though she was supported by the Muse and the Dark Elf. He was powerful enough without his weapon as he destroyed all of the dragons under the Mother of Dragons.

The only problem that he encountered is when he killed the blood dragon. A blood dragon curse mark appeared on his arm which makes him take 50% more damage against the allies of the Mother of Dragons. The Fallen God Izanagi tried to kill the Mother of Dragons immediately to destroy the curse affecting him but the death of her dragon children made her go berserk.

Basil instantly changed to her Draconic Warrior Form with all her stats tripling due to the deaths of all her children or dragon soulbounds. She was even firing off her dragon breath at point blank range against the Fallen God Izanagi that the latter had to reevaluate how to proceed. Still, the Fallen God Izanagi knew that the berserk state of the Mother of Dragons will not last long as each exchange made her weaker.

“I just need to take my time. I have enough divine energy to spare against her. I also need to keep track of that dark elf as his traps is incredibly irritating.” The Fallen God Izanagi muttered as aerial traps activated around him and fired off arrows made of death energy.

The Fallen God Izanagi released a powerful pulse of light that destroyed all of the arrows that Pana activated. The pulse of light also sent Basil flying back a few meters but she just charged back in even though she crashed to the ground. Their team is now having difficulty because most of their trump cards have been used earlier and all of it has been nullified by the Fallen God Izanagi.

“Should I ask for reinforcements?” Pana asked Musika.

“I have a way but I will not be able to join the final battle if anything happens.” Musika stated as she has one last trump card that she intended to use against the battle with the Primordial Divine Dragon Huanglong.

Pana immediately knew that this skill that Musika is saving might be one that could turn the tides of battle even against a powerful high god. Using it now would mean that they might lose in the end but they would all die if she does not use it. Pana knew that the situation now is more urgent hence he told Musika his honest thoughts.

“If we die here then we will not be able to join the final battle either way.” Pana stated which made Musika smile as she really appreciated his honesty.

“Okay then. Give me at least one minute.” Musika stated as she recalled her harp.

Musika then started playing a tune as old as time itself and made the surrounding atmosphere heavy. Even the Fallen God Izanagi recognized the danger that this tune brought but he could not reach Musika in time. Just as Pana promised, he is there to make sure that Musika is safe for at least one minute.

Pana used up all of his mana that he even coughed up blood as he is now straining his magic circles which is located in his heart. The surroundings pebbles and even the granules of sand itself suddenly became traps. Numerous magic circles appeared all around the Fallen God Izanagi as all of them activated simultaneously to take him down. Even the Fallen God Izanagi cannot easily defend against a full assault led by Pana and Basil was still attacking him.
