Chapter 2663: The Golden Palace of the East I

“What was that?!” Kabrakan asked as they could not even stop the golden dragon hand from taking the body of the enemy that they just defeated.

“Whatever it was, we still need to deal with the aftermath of what they did to this area. The guild leader said that we need to restore the faith of the people to the Four Cardinal Divine Beasts.” Arsenal stated.

“I already informed the guild leader regarding the incident that happened. It seems that we are not the only ones that caught a sighting of that golden dragon arm. The others that hunted down the Four Demonic Generals of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor also got to witness it. It seems that the Corrupted Yellow Emperor collected their souls and if they have a body then that would be collected as well.” Apolaki stated.

When Adrian reviewed his other chats, he informed the guild members to protect the key points for now. They needed to protect the Dragon Lake Palace because the threats to it have yet to subside. The Four Cardinal Divine Beasts need time in order to reconstruct the Seal of Four Directions. Time is not on their side as enemies from all over the eastern continent are flocking to their current location.

“Thank you for coming. I need a favor from all of you.” Adrian stated as he called Infernum, Valor and Evergreen.

Adrian messaged the guild leaders of each guild as he planned to hunt down the Corrupted Yellow Emperor with their help. Each of them came with their guild leader, vice guild leader, and elite team members. He did say that the being that they are hunting is a god which meant that only the elite of the elite will be able to go against it.

Adrian also called Frey but she said that something was stirring up in the north like abnormal weather patterns. She would have been a great asset to the fight but she is unable to leave the northern continent at the moment. He also somewhat missed her but she was adamant in staying in the northern continent to monitor it since it has been eerily silent there after the battle with the primordial beast.

“You said that we are here to hunt a god, kiddo.” Siegfried stated with a smile as he is the one that is most pumped up among all of them.

“Do not be too excited. The gods in the eastern continent are far mor skilled than others but I never heard of the Huanglong before.” Ain stated as he is actually a player that has connections in the eastern continent since his master who taught him aura is from the eastern continent.

“You already have the rundown on the details. Why are you all asking him now when he already presented the details in the chat?” Anastacia stated which made the other look away because they did not really read everything.

“Long story short, the strongest god in the eastern continent got taken over by a distorted god. It was sealed but is now released. It is now planning to conquer the entire eastern continent and then moved to the entire world after.” Adrian stated.

“Okay then. Share us the Continent Quest and we could start immediately.” Ain stated as he does not like to fuss too much but Adrian smiled.

“You left that part out.” Anastacia stated as she suddenly knew why Adrian only asked for a small team instead of a large one.

“The Corrupted Yellow Emperor as we call it has yet to be evaluated as a Continental Threat as it is still recovering its power. We have to kill it before it regains that power or else even our combine might will not be able to deal with it.” Adrian stated as he planned to kill the Corrupted Yellow Emperor before it could mature.

If other guild leaders were told this then they would have abandoned that request because there will not be much rewards. Some would rather have the quest be upgraded to such a large degree before moving. This quest in particular could potentially become a World Quest if they let it marinate enough. The three of them looked at each other just accepted Adrian’s breakdown.

It would have been better for them to let the Corrupted Yellow Emperor to become a World Threat for better rewards but they also learned the intricacies of the eastern continent. They cannot properly use the divine energy of gods from the central continent here in the eastern continent. Even Anastacia felt some of her divine energy was cut off and she is the Envoy of Life.

“If you believe that this Corrupted Yellow Emperor or whatever will become strong that no one can oppose it then I believe you. Out of all us, you are the best one that could gauge the strength of an enemy.” Siegfried stated.

“Thank you for your trust. I will make sure to repay it once this is over.” Adrian stated.

“We are a guild alliance after all. Maybe a discount on those talismans.” Ain stated while also inserting something that could benefit his guild.

“No problem.” Adrian responded with a chuckle.

“I am ALIVE!” Levin Cloud shouted as he is now awake after recharging.

“Good! I need you to do something for me. It will take your utmost concentration.” Adrian stated which made Levin Cloud fake being asleep again.

“Talk about a real Golden Palace.” Siegfried stated as all of them are now above clouds of the Golden Palace of the Corrupted Yellow Emperor.

“It is bigger than I thought. How did you even get the exact coordinates? Also, this is a new perspective for me as I never see anything from this height. We are safe right?” Ain asked.

“Equinox is maintaining the gravity as we speak. Do not worry because it is safe.” Anastacia stated but even she is not used to heights like this.

“I got the coordinates of the Golden Palace because it created a rift earlier. I merely traced it back to where it came from.” Adrian explained.
