Chapter 2627: Four Demonic Generals III

“ARGGHH!” Nuba screamed as her attacker suddenly fled the scene and she could not even detect him.

With no one to divert her anger to, Nuba blazed the entire forest until everything was charred into ashes. All of the trees, animals, and even the ground itself were burned and almost became nothing. She admits that she was toying with her enemy at first but the humiliation of being called ugly and then not even burning at least an arm is something she could not endure.

Blade, on the other hand, has already moved thousands of meters in just a split second. It did consume most of his mana and stamina as he was still transformed but he escaped from Nuba. As soon as the coast was clear, Blade immediately contacted his master and told him about the encounter that he just had. A reply immediately came back which he did not expect because he just escaped from danger.

“Calm down, Nuba. We have far more important things to do.” One of the revived fallen gods stated as they tried to calm the raging goddess of drought.

“Easy for you to say! Then again, looking at your pitiful selves is already enough for me to be happy of my current state.” Nuba stated as she looked down on the other fallen gods that were revived as the second generation as she calls them.

The first generation which was the five of them were all equivalent in strength to a newly ascended lesser god. The second generation where the rest of the souls were revived are all in the Ascendant Immortal stage or in the demigod power range. They can also increase in power and become equivalent to First Stage Divine Immortals or Lesser Gods but that would at least take a year. These second generation fallen gods wanted to prove useful as the Corrupted Huanglong might give them the Breath of Life like it did with the first generation.

“Doing a good job will do nothing for any of you because all of you are just extras. Why did you think that none of you were revived first like us?” Nuba stated but what she said is true.

The Corrupted Huanglong did revive the most powerful among the souls that it has collected. It is also the reason why the resentment of the second generation is fierce because there was already favoritism involved even when they learned that the first generation attacked the Corrupted Huanglong. If the second generation could attack the first generation, then they would have already killed Nuba with their combined attacks.

“Whatever! I already lost interest in this area. Let us go to the next village.” Nuba stated as she commanded them to march forward and clear at least one more village for the day.

Nuba and the other revived fallen gods traversed quickly as they are incredibly fast. They saw a village on the horizon and is about to charge forward when a sudden blur streak passed them. Nuba could not believe her eyes because that blur as none other than Blood Demon Swordsman that escaped earlier. Her initial shock made her unable to move as her brain processes the ways on how she would torture him for the embarrassment.

Blade ignored Nuba though as he aimed for one of the demigod level threats. A powerful and quick slash was enough to decapitate the Ascendant Immortal because Blade was charging that attack for about then minutes already. Blade was able to kill the Ascendant Immortal, but the problem now is that he is floating in the air and is an easy target.

“Burn to dust, blood demon!” Nuba shouted even though Blade looks like a normal human right now.

Raging flames suddenly covered Blade in a sphere as Nuba laughed out loud. Nuba believed that the blood demon swordsman would turn to dust, but she suddenly saw that no explosion was occurring. She made sure to use combustible flames against her enemy so that it will hurt more due to the extra explosion, but nothing was happening. She could see her flames circle around the blood demon, but he was not screaming in pain.

“Why is he not in pain?!” Nuba shouted in frustration, and she finally sensed it.

A small flaming cat could be seen stuck on Blade’s shoulder as it repelled the heat that Nuba created. It was none other than a fire elemental that is protecting her enemy from her flames. Nuba suddenly felt triggered by the fact that a small elemental could stop her flames which is why she released her domain. She was no longer in the mood for playing games as she planned to burn Blade to ashes even if she uses all of her current strength.

“Are you insane!?” One of the revived fallen gods stated as even they were affected by the heat being released by Nuba as sweat trickled on their faces.

“I am! Lady Drought!” Nuba shouted as a flaming apparition of her horrifying self suddenly came out from her body and charged towards Blade.

[All of Nuba’s skill will have 20% penetration effect that pierces shields and barriers.]

Blade now felt the heat as the small fire elemental on his shoulder could no longer defend him. The flames now radiated powerful heat that dealt small percentages of damage to him even if it is not being applied directly at him. He could not move as well because the flames created by Nuba also trapped him in his current location even if the small fire elemental was protecting him. In fact, the small fire elemental could only shield him from the damage and not help him escape.

“Die, blood demon! I am the Goddess of Drought that will turn the world dry!” Nuba shouted as she proudly exclaimed her title.

The flaming apparition that Nuba blasted towards Blade flew at an incredibly fast speed but a small red fox with three tails suddenly appeared in front of it. The small red fox was an elemental as well, but it also has an interesting ability. The small red fox elemental produced blue flames that had the ability to absorb heat. Three blue flames were produced from each tail, and it was shot towards the flaming apparition.

The flaming apparition that would have killed Blade suddenly got hit by the blue flames and the heat of the attack got slowly devoured. The flaming apparition fizzled out just before it reached Blade’s face. Blade heaved a sigh of relief as he was not going to die this time at the very least.

Nuba felt incredibly frustrated on why elementals were helping a blood demon when they hate being that have negative energy. She suddenly learned the truth on how that is because a large flaming woman with four hands slammed down directly at Nuba. This attack sent her crashing directly to the ground and the attack came from a flaming child.

“An Elemental King Candidate!” One of the fallen gods stated as they saw Soleil make Nuba crash down to the ground and even negate her flames.

“Attack her!” One of the fallen gods shouted as they believed that Soleil was dangerous because she is able to neutralize Nuba. This also meant that she could easily kill all of them with flames hotter than what Nuba could use. The flames conjured by Soleil are also stronger inside the domain that Nuba used as the domain actually hiddenly buff all fire related skills.

“Tempest Squal!” A voice that is calm as it can be stated as a sharp slash descended from the skies.

The sharp slash created a powerful torrent of wind that blew away the ones that charged towards Soleil but that was not the end. Vayu slashed once more, and it created numerous twisters that exploded in all directions. All of the enemies that were around Soleil were all hit by the twisters and were blown away by about a hundred meters.

“Another Elemental King Candidate!” The enemies exclaimed as Elemental King Candidates are rare and do not meet because their elements could clash with one another and fizzle out.

“You are a little bit late on the entrance, sensei. You also got used to having such a dramatic entrance as well.” Blade stated as Soleil destroyed the flames that bound him from moving.

“Apologies as the village over there needs to be alarmed but I made sure to come as quickly as possible. The enemies this time around are not easy to deal with after all.” Vayu stated as he sheathed his katana as well.

“What should we do?” The revived fallen gods asked each other as they believe they cannot win against Blade and two Elemental King Candidates.

“I will kill all of you! I shall burn all of you until nothing is left!” Nuba shouted as a powerful flame pillar exploded from where she was sent crashing down and it extended all the way into the skies.
