Chapter 2628: Four Demonic Generals IV

It was not just Nuba that got cornered because numerous teams have been deployed to the areas that are said to be where the Four Demonic Generals are. This was all possible because of the vast network that the Heihudie Clan mobilized when they learned what happened to one of their own. Coupled with members that are willing to actually do everything in their power for revenge, the troops mobilized to deal with the Four Demonic Generals were easily able to arrive.

“Ughh!” Adrian grumbled as his mana was depleted to the point that he also felt some backlash because opening portals in a simultaneous manner is not easy even for him.

“Is the guild master really going to be fine?” Some of the Pantheon Guild members asked as they could see their guild master grumbling but made sure that the portals were still in effect.

“He will be fine. Tired but do not mind him. Just make sure to defeat the target with all you got.” Levin Cloud stated as he cannot join the others because he will have another thing to do with Adrian.

“I think I am going to throw up.” Adrian stated as he finished sending all of the guild members that have arrived at their respective locations.

“We have another thing that we need to do. We already spread ourselves quite thin because we split ourselves into five teams.” Levin Cloud stated as it was only him, Adrian, and Peridot left in the Murim Alliance.

Not all of the members were able to mobilize themselves to help in the eastern continent as some had important quests they cannot drop. In the end, only twenty people managed to show up and each of them were also split into five groups which meant only four per attack squad. Four members are there to deal with one Demonic General. The last squad is the search squad that is meant to search for the Seer of the White Tiger.

“We can win this thing if we either kill all of them or find the Seer of the White Tiger of the West to start the revival ritual.” Levin Cloud pointed out as this is why they had to spread themselves thin.

They believed that having at least two possibilities for victory would be much easier to succeed at the current situation. Even the Murim Alliance themselves are not confident that they could win against beings that are showing godlike power. In fact, Grand Mistress Nu Wa and Grand Master Fu Xi were already sending letters to all of the other fallen gods that did not side with the Corrupted Huanglong to join in the battle.

“Are the two of you confident enough that they will not die easily?” Peridot asked as she was worried.

“They can hold themselves well in fights as long as the enemy does not have a cheat like ability then all of them will be fine. Winning might be not as secure as our enemies are new, and we do not have a gauge of their combat abilities, but the members are strong. Also, I told them to retreat if there is really nothing that they could do.” Adrian stated.

“I was about to be very teary eyed and confident, but you had to say that last sentence.” Peridot stated with a bland tone.

“Anyways, have the items for summoning the soul of the Seer of the Azure Dragon of the East arrived?” Adrian asked as he is the one that will lead the ritual.

“They already departed to check with the survivors of the city. I think one of them was the assistant of the Head Shrine Maiden.” Peridot reported.

“I shall prepare the magic circle then.” Adrian stated as he left to create the magic circle in a dimly lit room prepared by the Murim Alliance.

“I guess I shall make myself useful for now and get the materials needed for a more successful séance.” Levin Cloud stated as he turned into vines and vanished.

“I guess I will be with my master for the moment then.” Peridot stated as she was really just there to eavesdrop on what the Murim Alliance was planning.

Just as Adrian promised, all of the members were split up to fight against the Four Demonic Generals and to find the Seer of the Azure Dragon of the East. The first group of four is led by Vayu and Soleil with Altum and Amelia. The second group is led by Creepysoo and Hexy with two members that are similar to them which is Brew and Gourmet. The third group is led by Ark along with Pana, Basil, and Musika which made them a more well-rounded group. The fourth group is consisted of Kabrakan, Arsenal, Silent Ghost, and Apolaki.

The fifth group is different because they are led by Awraka and consists of four shadow unit members. They were also sent ahead compared to the others as they would need to trace the tracks of the Seer of the White Tiger of the West. Two of the groups have already encountered their targets and those are Vayu’s group because Blade alerted him about it and Ark’s group who stumbled accidentally with Izanagi.

The other two groups that have yet to encounter their targets were being escorted to the village that the Izanami and Chiyou were raiding. It was easy finding the targets with the help of the Heihudie Clan as they have observation abilities that could be undetected even by beings that have the strength of a lesser god. Even if they were discovered, the Heihudie clan members would choose to sacrifice themselves than to give information about the operation.

“Who are you stranger?” Izanagi asked as this is the first time that he had felt the auras of the four beings before him as they did not have internal energy. He could also feel that the aura of the one leading them is dangerous as he could feel the sun and pitch darkness from him.
