The very mana present in the air is corrupted just by touching the aura around it. It created miasma just by existing and this miasma is unlike the ones that Adrian has encountered.

The Corrupted Huanglong immediately tried to do the first thing that popped inside its head. It immediately flew high up in the sky as it wanted to see if the seal still has an influence on it. It also saw a large formation be created on the ground of the eastern continent.
“Tch! The seal of Tathagata has yet to perish. I am still trapped in the eastern continent even if I am no longer bound by the Seal of the Four Directions.” The Corrupted Huanglong stated as there is an even more ancient seal that trapped the Huanglong in the eastern continent.
This seal was created by the Perfect Enlightened One which is a powerful Primordial God from the Eastern Continent. It is a seal that trapped the Huanglong in the eastern continent, but it also ensured that nothing in the eastern continent could ever kill it. This is the reason why the gods back then could only seal the Corrupted Huanglong instead of outright kill it when other divine beings could be killed.
