Chiyou suddenly found himself with confidence as the attacks from the demon was actually neutralized. He went to the offensive as Adrian showed his form as he wielded his flaming armguards.
Adrian did not flee but met with Chiyou’s attack in a head on manner. His scythe collided with the flaming armguards of the Ascendant Immortal before him. As soon as their weapons collided, Adrian’s nether energy and the Samadhi True Flames created a powerful explosion of energy that even created a shockwave. The shockwave was not powerful but the resonance between the two abilities was incredible.
The two of them looked at each other before starting another exchange of blows. Adrian bent time and space while in his true form to get the upper hand. Seeing that he is in danger, Chiyou actually released a signal to the air which was a firework. The firework is also a signal beacon that something urgent needs to be done in the underground pavilions.
“Ohoh! I thought you were a fallen war god. Where is all that confidence now?” Adrian stated in order to get through the skin of his enemies. Chiyou did not fall for it though as he remained steadfast and unmoving from the general location of the Samadhi True Fire.

While Adrian has already started the rumble, Dodu suddenly stood up from his seat. The sudden movement from the transformed slime made the others take note of this. The attendants tried to speak but they suddenly felt the pressure being emitted by Dodu to be quite extreme. The two attendants were Ryujin, but they never thought that they would be overpowered in terms of Persona level by a summoned monster.
“Is there something wrong, cute one?” Grand Mistress Nu Wa asked while being fine from the frightening aura that Dodu released.
“Master is already fighting. He has found the enemies that attacked cool red bird.” Dodu stated as it often called the Vermillion Bird as the cool red bird.
“Oh! If that is the case, then it is now time for us to move. Did your master call for your aid, cute one?” Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated as she stood up.
“Nope. Master said that he will be fine as the other brothers and sisters are there.” Dodu replied.
“I guess we need to ease your master’s burden. Come, we shall storm the main sect building of the Emei Sect ourselves.” Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated as she flung the door open and the others followed.
“Lady Nu Wa! What is the meaning of this?!” One of the guards which is a senior member of the Emei Sect asked as Grand Mistress Nu Wa’s opening of the door made the entire thing flung off.
“I am already tired of waiting to check on the state of your sect. I shall inspect it myself at this moment. You are free to come if you wish.” Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated but a shocking sight appeared before her.
All of the Emei Sect members that were around suddenly took out their weapons and aimed it at Grand Mistress Nu Wa’s group. Even the ones that were observing from afar using stealth arts have taken out their weapon as well. This made Grand Mistress Nu Wa’s eyebrows be raised as she did not expect hostility from the get-go. She expected that they would at least have them be at the main sect building before doing the ambush, but it seems they were already given clear directives.
“Should I see this as an act of rebellion against the Grand Advisor?” Grand Mistress Nu Wa asked as she is called the Grand Advisor of the Eastern Continent and holds the title of punishing sects that have crossed the line.
“Apologies, Lady Nu Wa. We were given direct orders to not let you step foot on the main sect building until further notice. Please return to the courtyard and we shall think that this never happened.” The most senior guard of the Emei Sect stated but she suddenly froze in fear.
Grand Mistress Nu Wa, who is always beautiful and elegant in looks, suddenly glared at the senior guard with pure killing intent. Her draconic eyes came out due to the powerful release of killing intent that made all other beings around her shudder. The only ones that are not affected are her entourage as she made sure that they were safe from her Dragon Fear.
“Do all of you know what is happening to your sect? Do you know that all of your elders have sold you to the fallen gods that wish to destroy the continent?” Grand Mistress Nu Wa asked as she wanted to know if all of the Emei Sect members here know that their sect has already been tainted.
Grand Mistress Nu Wa looked at the reactions of the people around her. She expected that some of them will not know but the majority of them actually knew that their elders have been harboring a group that has terrorized the eastern continent. The ones that have known are those wearing the jade bangles as they were some of the people being brought outside for training, but it was really missions with the Kami organization members.
“Alas, all of you have become traitors to the eastern continent. I shall now give my verdict as grand advisor.” Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated as she suddenly revealed her horns and tail as she flew towards the skies above.
“To all beings that live in the Emei Sect, I shall all give you a chance to live. I, the Grand Advisor of the Eastern Continent, have judged that the Emei Sect is harboring the traitors that have killed lots of our beloved. The organization that is behind the chaos and destruction of the eastern continent is being sheltered by them. If you wish to leave, then I shall give you all half an incense of time to escape.” Grand Mistress Nu Wa declared.
