Chapter 2600: Destruction of the Emei Sect

A grand declaration came from the Grand Overseer or Grand Advisor of the Eastern Continent. The one known as the most powerful being in the entire continent is suddenly saying that she will destroy and purge the entire Emei Sect. She gave all the beings their time to evacuate if they are not truly part of the sect or are not loyal to it.

“Lady Nu Wa has been overtaken by her heart demon! We must subdue her before she harms the entire sect! Sisters! Come and fight for the sect!” The Emei Sect Senior Member shouted as she rallied all of the members of the sect to her but one could see that some of them were incredibly wary.

“Sister, why not have the elders come immediately! They should be able to handle or talk some sense towards the great lady.” One of the Emei Sect members stated as she has heard stories about the Grand Mistress Nu Wa.

The stories about Grand Mistress Nu Wa have spanned in decades which makes sense that some do not outright believe it, but they happened. There was a time where she was asked by the Four Cardinal Divine Beasts to punish the sects that have abandoned their morals and ethics. She was the enforcer of the rules that Immortals should never endanger normal people, and she did a splendid job that earned her the fear and admiration of many.

She was able to singlehandedly destroy an entire sect by herself by erasing it from the map. Grand Mistress Nu Wa is already a powerhouse beyond imagine even back then and it has not changed now. She could even tap into her own divine energy if she wanted to forcefully become a greater god if she wishes. She was not joking when she gave the warning that she will erase this sect as they have violated the rules.

“Lady Nu Wa! There must be some mistake! Our sect does not harbor any terrorists! I am sure that the elders will be able to prove our innocence.” One of the members stated as she did not believe that their sect that prided themselves in protecting women is now hiding beings that actually destroyed places in the continent.

“Why not ask your senior sisters? They will be the ones that will answer your question as they have already known. Also, I am sure that your elders will not be able to attend to me because they are now currently very occupied with those that are underground. I shall extend my warning to all of you as well. If you wish to live, then abandon this place now or else I shall not be merciful.” Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated which made the ones that know of the true state of the sect bulge their eyes out.

“Senior Sister, is what the great lady says true?” One of the Emei Sect members asked as she was mostly just in the sect and not allowed to go out.

“Silence! The Great Lady Nu Wa is currently under the spell of her heart demon! She has fallen victim to its clutches and is now in qi deviation. We must calm her down and bring her to the elders for her to be healed.” The Emei Sect Senior Member stated but the trust of the others started to drop.

“I want to go to my master.” Dodu stated as she finally spoke which shocked the others as they thought that she was mute or at least they know that the character she copied is mute.

“Do not worry, cute one. Your master is currently wreaking havoc right now and you shall do the same here.” Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated as the ground suddenly violently shook as if it was on cue.

“Master is fighting a powerful man wrapped in bandages. The bad one that killed the cool red bird, and my brothers and sisters are fighting men and women that is dressed like them.” Dodu stated as she pointed towards the members of the Emei Sect.

The members of the Emei Sect that surrounded Grand Mistress Nu Wa’s group were unable to decide what they needed to do. They were waiting for Grand Mistress Nu Wa to make a move, but she was standing in her place, but she has yet to retract her horns and tail. They were also thinking that the Grand Mistress Nu Wa might have lost their mind as the girl that was said to be mute can actually speak but in a childish manner.

“All of you are wasting time for now escaping. I am quite serious when I said that I shall destroy the Emei Sect for harboring all of the Kami organization members. All of you will face my might if you do not escape now. Run now while I am being generous with my offer.” Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated as she looked at the Emei Sect members.

One would think that she was bluffing but she was not. Some would say that her heart demon has taken over her but if it did then she would have become a mass murderer by now. She was not even attacking them immediately or craving their blood which meant that either Grand Mistress Nu Wa has a very tame heart demon, or their senior sister is lying.

“I shall go to the elders and have them talk with the great lady.” One of the members who are innocent stated but her side was suddenly pierced by her own senior sister’s sword.

The innocent member of the Emei Sect is shocked that her own senior sister attacked her and the others that were innocent are shocked as well. The strike to her side was not fatal but it did wound her enough that she was unable to activate any movement arts. The sudden betrayal of their senior sister shocked all of those present that they were unable to utter a word or even move.

“Ohoh! This is suddenly getting more interesting.” Grand Mistress Nu Wa muttered.

“Mistress, please observe proper decorum.” One of the attendants stated.

“Why did you hurt me, senior sister?” The injured innocent member of the Emei Sect asked.

“No one is to leave this place until we stop the Grand Overseer. Leaving this place is considered treason and you shall be executed on the spot.” The Senior Member of the Emei Sect stated which further made those that wanted to escape deflate and scared.

“Why did you hurt your friend?” Dodu asked innocently.

Dodu is a bit shocked at the sight of another being hurting someone that shared their own clothes. Dodu was raised by Adrian with trust and honesty which it also observed in the Pantheon guild. Dodu also has the same guild mark present in its body which symbolizes that it is part of the Pantheon guild, but it never thought of hurting its members. Dodu has never seen betrayal face to face like this before as even monsters would not abandon their own kind if they were a social group.

Dodu’s one question suddenly sparked something inside of those that were innocent. Those that did not know the bad deeds that the Emei Sect has done over the years looked at their senior sister that actually hurt one of them. The one who was hurt only wanted clarification from the elders and this is a major event that needs their participation. It was common sense that they needed their elders present to at least calm down the Grand Overseer.

“Why did you hurt me, senior sister? I am asking for an honest answer.” The injured innocent member of the Emei Sect asked once again as she regulated her bleeding torso with internal energy.

“No one is to leave this place until we stop the Grand Overseer. Leaving this place is considered treason and you shall be executed on the spot.” The Senior Member of the Emei Sect repeated without even looking remorseful for what she has done.

“For those who are innocent, I hope it is clear to you that your sect has already rotten from the inside. Your own trusted senior sisters are now pointing your blades at you without even giving you the proper explanation. It is clear that they have already known the corruption of your sect. If I am not wrong, then they themselves have already worked with that terrorist organization.” Grand Mistress Nu Wa stated.

“No more explanations! Kill them all!” The Senior Member of the Emei Sect shouted as she brandished her sword and immediately chopped off Dodu’s head off.

The innocent guild members screamed in terror as they did not expect that their senior sister would kill someone that is not even threatening her or carrying a weapon. They thought that Dodu has truly been killed as the head is now separated from the body, but the hands actually caught the falling head. The screams of terror stopped as they were all in disbelief because the decapitated woman was still alive.

“You are bad! Master said that I can retaliate in self defense!” Dodu stated as it sprayed the senior member with powerful acid.
