Chapter 2549: Ancient Dragon Slayer

Adrian released the arrow containing all of his power which contained Andromeda, Realm Ender, and Nether Blast. The arrow contained such beauty as the dazzling lights of stars coated it, but it also has the deadliness of the power of death. The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico wanted to escape but it suddenly found itself bound. He was not bound by magic or abilities but by the soulbounds that the demon has.

“Let go of me, you beasts!” The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico shouted as he tried biting off the soulbounds that clung to its body.

“Do not worry about your death. Our master will make sure to send you to where you belong.” Kanlaon stated as he coiled tighter to the body of the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico.

“He does not even care about you and is using you as sacrifices for his victory!” The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico shouted but all of the soulbounds just scoffed at him.

“We would gladly do that to our master that has given us a home. Also, we are immune to a true death unlike you.” Saena stated as she made sure to grip the head with her talons.

“You! Idi!” The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico shouted but he was unable to finish the sentence.

The arrow released by Adrian perfectly hit the area below where the true essence of the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico is. It is where Kimat hit earlier when he sacrificed himself as well. The sacrifice of Kimat gave Adrian the real way to truly finish off the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico. Every sacrifice that his soulbounds make is for his victory which is why he does not waste it.

The arrow was not loud, but it was silent when it struck. There was no whistling sound or loud cadence but a whisper. The moment the arrow entered the blood lake is when the true horror emerged. A powerful explosion of energy that combined the explosion of a star, the power that could end realms, and the energy that could turn all life into death.

The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico could only look in horror as the arrow exploded inside his body. All of the humiliation he endured suddenly flashed before him and even the mistakes he had done. He was thinking of what he had done wrong in the last moments of his life as an explosion of vast energy swept across the entire area.

The explosion was a big cluster of lights of gray, black, and white. The explosion even created a dome of nether mist that expanded in the entire area to make sure that all parts of the blood lake was purged. Adrian already warned his allied vampires and werewolves to stay out of the area. If anyone is caught in that explosion then they only have themselves to blame as he did his job of warning them.

The explosion was loud, but it ended in an instant. The silence that followed made everything in the area look at Adrian in fear. Even the remaining Strigoi that was driven mad were cowering and actually fled. The allied vampires and werewolves did not let those beast getaway as they needed to be purged since they are bloodthirsty beings that cannot be content.

Description: The heart of the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico that still pulses even in his death. It is the most important part of a dragon as the heart is where their power comes from. It has powers that is unknown as Blood Dragons are said to have been wiped out when the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico devoured all of them. It has the appearance of a heart that has small seven blood dragon heads coming out of it.

Effect:

-Gives a special buff to anyone that devours it.

Description: A core that was dropped upon the death of the only living Ancient Blood Dragon. It is unknown how the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico is, but it contains pure draconic energy. Have the Mother of Dragons take a look at this and you might find its use. It has a scaly appearance with a crimson glow that also looks like blood is flowing on it.

Effect:

-Gives a special buff to anyone that can use it.

Description: A shard of divine energy from a source of light that shimmers even in the darkest of nights. It emanates divine energy that feels warmth and happiness. It can be used as an ascension material for those that have divine energy related to the light element.

Tier: Semi Transcendent

Effects:

-Increase damage dealt to Ancient Dragons by 100%.

-Increase damage dealt to True Dragons by 150%.

-Increase damage dealt to any dragon subspecies by 200%

-True Dragons and below are now fearful of you and they might cower when they see you.

Description: A title that can only be given to those that have subdued an Ancient Dragons by themselves. It is a title that can only be given to those that have truly defeated an Ancient Dragon more powerful than themselves. All those that have these titles were all powerful heroes that stood against evil dragons.

“I actually managed to do it but that is wrong. We were able to do it. Thank you.” Adrian stated with his tired breath as he dropped to the ground to sit.

Adrian thanked his soulbounds from the bottom of his heart because they managed to kill an enemy more powerful than themselves. It was akin to fighting against a greater god by themselves. He is thankful because all of the stars seemed to have aligned for their victory. If the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico did not announce himself as a divine dragon, then it might have gone awry.

“I also got good items. I even got a dragon core that can be used to increase Kanlaon’s stats even further. I do not know what the use for the Core of Blood is, but it says that I need the mother of dragons. I guess I can have Basil check this when they are done with the enemy below us. For the Divine Shard of Light, is this what I think it is?” Adrian thought as his stigmata suddenly glowed in a bright light and the helper came out.

“This is mine. Thank you.” Light stated as he just immediately took the shard and returned back to Adrian’s stigmata without batting an eye.

Adrian was not even able to say something else as the scoundrel just took it and left. The fact that it could steal it even without Adrian’s approval was worrying but that is the promise he made with that thing. The being that is currently living inside of his stigmata is the True God of Light. He does not know what its name is as no textbook or even carvings have his name on it. The only way to restore it back to divinity is find its missing divine shards.

[The effects of the Light Elemental Enchantment have been increased by 5%.]

[All spells and attacks will now have light elemental debuff called Photon applied.]

[Photon is a debuff that reduces the damage dealt to the user by all beings affected by it by 5%. This can stack up to two times and each stack will dissipate after 30 seconds but can be reapplied with every attack or spell that hits enemies.]

“At the very least, I got something in return. It decreases all damage dealt! This is a great debuff against powerful enemies that deal large amounts of damage. Too bad only I can have the effects of damage reduction and not my allies.” Adrian muttered as the ground suddenly started to shake and he suddenly found himself wondering one thing that slip passed his mind.

“Where is the soul of that ancient dragon? I was too tired and so happy that the battle was over that I even forgot to check if his soul was sent to the afterlife.” Adrian thought as the ground suddenly started to open up.

“WAHAHAHA!” A loud laugh coming from a woman that transformed into a female bat and human hybrid came out. This being was holding Solstice by the neck before she proceeded to draw some of the latter’s blood.

“Sister!” Adrian shouted as he is shocked by what he is seeing.
