Chapter 2550: The Last Crazed Blood Queen I

Adrian suddenly found himself looking above while his sister is being choked by the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha. He then looked down on the crater to see that most of his guild members were all taken down. They were not killed but they were all in a state of heavy damage or broken bones. He was about to jump upwards to save his sister when the words of the Fates entered his mind and prompted him to stop.

Solstice also looked different as her red hair is now showing streaks of white. Adrian felt the power of an Asmodian flowing in her veins which meant she used his blood. If she already used Adrian’s blood and lost, then the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha was more powerful or at least as powerful as the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico.

“What happened?!” Adrian thought as he swooped down to the ground to check on his other guild members.

“She is a different monster entirely.” Ark stated as he tried healing himself with light magic.

“She turned this entire thing into a sacrificial area. She is collecting souls, big brother.” Creepysoo stated as he fixed his broken body, and he recalled what happened.

While Adrian was fighting against the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico, the members that Solstice came with deeper into the cave were a lot. She believed that they would at least be enough to deal with the enemy. The Crazed Blood Queen Akasha is said to have many male concubines, and it should also mean that there might be some guarding her right now.

After Solstice and her group headed deeper and did not encounter other concubines, they entered a large underground chamber that looks like an altar. The altar has depictions of vampires enslaving other beings and such with the figure of the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha at the middle of it. The altar was strange as it had this eerie feeling as if a curse is seeping out of it which Hexy noticed immediately and reported.

“I think it is a cursed altar, but I do not know what curse it is. I am suddenly itching to find out.” Hexy stated but guards finally flocked to their location.

The guards were none other than the male concubines of the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha. She also came along with a smug and confident look on her eyes. She believed that they would not have any difficulty in dealing with the intruders. The Crazed Blood Queen Akasha was actually more wistful as she would often stare at the ceiling as if she was waiting for something.

“Stop this folly, Akasha! You should return the creation relic and have the council handle your punishment.” Solstice stated.

“Silly girl. I am doing this for our kind. The fact that you think that you self-righteous imbeciles think that submitting and hiding in the shadows of the world is right means you are all cowards.” The Crazed Blood Queen Akasha stated.

“We are not cowards because coexisting is better than being feared and persecuted. You have done more harm than good over the years when your lover died. You are not in the right state of mind to talk about the affairs for all vampires. You even killed the other concubines and absorbed their blood! You have not only harmed other beings but even your own people!” Solstice stated.

“You are idiotic in thinking that they are tolerating us because they want to coexist. We have always been hunters, and the world is naturally prey. You will see what I mean when all of what I am working for has succeeded. The others have also arrived! The time to act is now! Kill them for me, my concubines!” The Crazed Blood Queen Akasha shouted as her crimson eyes glowed in a darker light as all of the concubines that ’love’ her charged towards Solstice and her group.

The fight against the male concubines were difficult as some were demigods in terms of power level. It seems that some abandoned their humanity and converted to being a vampire in order to stay young forever. It seems that she managed to obtain many demigod followers as she offered them another way to live since demigods can die of old age if they are human or races with lifespans.

The odd thing is that the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha did not participate in the battle. She merely sat on her throne and rubbed her belly while chanting something. Solstice turned to Hexy on what the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha was doing. Hexy told Solstice that the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha was using up all the cursed energy built up by the cursed altar and placing it inside her body. Strange markings suddenly appeared on the belly of the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha.

“The first preparation is complete. I shall now activate the Blood Offering!” The Crazed Blood Queen Akasha shouted as she suddenly released the magic circle that is being sealed by the cursed altar with her at the center of it.

As soon as the cursed magic circle activated, all of the male concubines of the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha started to scream. The vampires that were full of vitality suddenly started to shrivel up as the blood in their bodies were being taken by the cursed altar. The effect of the cursed altar only affected the underground for now, but the absorption was not limited to the blood of the make concubines.

“Their souls! Their souls are being absorbed as well!” Creepysoo shouted as he planned to make undead out of the bodies of the dead vampires, but he cannot do so without a soul or even a fragment of their soul.

“What is she planning?!” Solstice thought but she knew that she needed to do something.

Solstice immediately tried to control the blood that was gathering at the altar, but she could not do so. Since controlling the blood did not work, Solstice commanded all of them to target the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha. She was the only one they needed to kill now as the other vampires under her were being sacrificed by what she is doing. All of them nodded as they jumped towards the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha as they believed that she would be occupied in activating the cursed altar.

“The preparation has been done, and you cannot stop it now. You shall also be used as an ingredient, Child of Edelblud.” The Crazed Blood Queen Akasha stated as she suddenly transformed into a female bat human hybrid.

The Crazed Blood Queen Akasha ears suddenly became sharp while she developed bat like wings on her back that also extended down to a sharp tail. Her fangs that were already sharp suddenly became longer than before. The Crazed Blood Queen Akasha also got the ability to release piercing screeches that can destroy the bones of those hit by that attack. Solstice knows that this is not the true ability of the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha which meant that she got it from somewhere.

“What have you done to your own body!” Solstice stated as she crossed blades with the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha.

The Crazed Blood Queen Akasha did not have a blade though, but her hands became claws that can grip and tear. She was no longer a vampire but a monstrous entity as Solstice could smell that there was something foreign in her blood. The Crazed Blood Queen Akasha was no longer just a vampire but mutated into something else entirely.

“I am merely borrowing powers from beings that can resurrect! This is how I will bring back my beloved.” The Crazed Blood Queen Akasha stated with obsessed eyes.

“You sacrificed all of the vampires you created just to bring back one dead person! Are you insane to the point that you have killed thousands? Resurrection cannot be done! It is the greatest taboo!” Solstice shouted as she attacked the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha, but all her attacks were being blocked.

“She is not being affected by curses.” Hexy stated as she felt that something was blocking her from using debuffs.

“It’s the curse altar! We must destroy it.” Creepysoo stated as even his undead were not dealing damage to the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha.

“My claws could not even reach her. She is quick.” Lycan stated.

“Tight spaces is not a good area to fight with dragons.” Basil stated.

Even with the combined efforts of all of them, the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha was not damaged in the slightest. She tripled in speed to the point that none of their attacks landed on her. Still, they all felt it was strange that the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha was not attacking them actively despite being faster than all of them.

It was only when they were about to attack the cursed altar did the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha attack them. The first that she stopped was none other than Basil as her dragons can deliver great damage to the cursed altar. The Crazed Blood Queen Akasha suddenly appeared before Basil and kicked her on the stomach which sent her flying towards the wall.
