Chapter 2548: Blood Dragon Versus Nether IV

“Do you think that you can actually stop me?!” The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico shouted as he actually did something that he never would have considered.

All of the perfectly restrained heads of the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico suddenly exploded as they released a bloody poisoned mist that harmed any being that is nearby. The soulbounds that were affected were mainly Dodu, Charon, and Kimat as all of them were close. Saena tried to heal them of this poison, but the blood poison mist did not dissipate as it lingered in the area forever.

The three bloody dragon heads that exploded were all restored eventually but that did not mean the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico is unscathed. Sacrificing its own dragon head and turning it into poison mist decreased its health by 10% per head. It lost a large portion of its health in return for being free of suppression. Still, the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico believed that should be the optimal way of dealing with the situation.

With three bloody dragon heads free from suppression, the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico released its dragon breath at full power for all three heads. This meant that Dodu, Charon, and Kimat got struck with it in close range as well. Dodu only got one of the heads it had destroyed but Charon and Kimat are different. Charon’s chains exploded and got sent flying everywhere, but he managed to collect enough to reform his body. Kimat did not end so well as he got pinned down to the blood lake with the dragon breath.

Kimat roared as he tried countering the dragon breath with his own power by releasing lightning from his body, but another dragon head became free when it dealt with Charon. Two dragon heads released their dragon breaths upon Kimat. The blood lake is also part of the body of the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico which meant that any being other than him will be weakened when standing over it.

Kimat endured for as long as he could but the amount of energy he can use for defending is not enough. He needs to be in the skies if he were to unleash attacks continuously as he needs to absorb mana. The blood lake that he is standing on seems to also be sapping some of his strength as he could feel his body weakening. Kimat did not give up though as he knew that fighting against this enemy is not easy.

Kimat knew that he cannot beat the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico. Almost all of his siblings are fighting against it, but they have yet to defeat it. Restraining it was also not completely possible which means that someone has to sacrifice to turn the tables around. Kimat roared as he informed what he planned to do so that his siblings will know.

Kimat suddenly turned his body into pure lightning as it also burned life force. This is one of the forbidden techniques that soulbounds can use. The soulbound will deal great damage but they will be unable to be called upon for a day. Each effect is different depending on the soulbound and Kimat turns his body into pure energy.

Kimat with his pure lightning body suddenly used the particles of iron in blood to literally traverse the body of the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico. Kimat reached what can be called the main body of the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico and it is actually a deep part of the blood lake. In there, Kimat suddenly increased the energy capacity to the highest degree. Without even a warning, Kimat made all of his pure lightning explode which created a large explosion of lightning energy.

[Your soulbound, Kimat, has died.]

[All buffs applied by summoning Kimat will only last for ten more minutes.]

The explosion of the blood lake also destabilized the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico. The explosion shook the entire area as the entire blood lake also exploded. Droplets of red water dripped down while all of the beings in the blood lake were swept away by the shockwave. Even the other soulbounds were not safe as those close to the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico were actually knocked back.

When all of the dispersed red liquid of the blood lake stabilized and returned, the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico formed its body once again, but it no longer had seven heads. The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico could only reform five of the seven that it originally had. It was not just the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico that is affected though as Dodu was also part of the blood lake.

Dodu heard what Kimat said and actually braced itself for the explosion. The explosion was powerful enough to destabilize the blood lake which also meant that Dodu cannot handle the transformation any longer. Still, the parts that Dodu already claimed became nether mist when it was finished. This meant that Dodu still struck a heavy blow on the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico even when the transformation ended.

“You will all pay for this!” The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico shouted as only five heads remained, but those five heads are also flimsy and thinner than before.

The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico only had 30% of his original health left but that does not mean he became weaker. Rage filled the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico as he did not expect that he will be disrespected to such a degree. He was a member of the ancient dragons that were descendants of the original true dragons.

The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico gathered all of the energy he could onto all of his five mouths as this was the perfect time to deal with the soulbounds. All of the pesky monsters that made it unable to move as it wanted were all stunned or had difficulty moving. If he used all of his power, then he would immediately kill all of them with just one dragon breath per head.

“Die!” The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico shouted as he released his dragon breath to target Kanlaon, Charon, Saena, Dodu, and Wisteria.

All five of Adrian’s soulbounds gathered together instead of fighting off the dragon breaths by themselves. Charon and Wisteria used chains and vines to create barriers but the attack of the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico pierced through. Seeing this, Kanlaon immediately used all of the power he could using the dragon balls to make the sturdiest of all elemental barriers.

Six elemental barriers were erected to diffuse the dragon breaths but all six were destroyed as well. The power of the attack did drop though but that also means they will get hit. Charon was about to throw himself into the attack to block it, but Dodu suddenly changed into him. Dodu transformed into Charon and covered itself with thick chains. Dodu tanked all of the hits and blocked the attack for the rest of them but that also meant its death.

[Your soulbound, Dodu, has been killed.]

Seeing the sacrifice of the doted Dodu, Kanlaon spiraled into a rage and gathered all the strength that remained. He gathered all of the elemental energy in the area as fast as he could and released the most powerful Elemental Catastrophe he could use in that moment. Kanlaon did not fire this as a spell, but he actually bit down on the Elemental Catastrophe and mixed it with his dragon breath.

“Getting sentimental over a slime! You are a disgrace to true dragons!” The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico shouted as he released his dragon breath but only with two dragon heads since he cannot support it with five.

“You will die here like the traitor that you are.” Kanlaon shouted but the Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico only laughed.

The Ancient Blood Dragon Sanguico was about to say something when he suddenly noticed that all of the nether mist suddenly gathered in one area. The thick mist that prevented him from seeing what is happening around suddenly got collected by the being flying higher than Kanlaon. Adrian could be seen struggling as he held his bow with an arrow filled with dangerous energy.

Adrian started his plan earlier on as he planned to use Andromeda with Realm Ender, but it proved to be more difficult than he thought. The two attacks were not merging as he imagined, and it needed a catalyst. In fact, he used the nether mist as catalyst which is why it thinned out a bit but now, he can fire it.

“Goodbye.” Adrian stated calmly as he released the arrow.
