The two primordial beasts could only endure the damage that their bodies are being assaulted with. The reason of their current predicament is none other than the Goddess Skadi that pierced their bodies with just her spear. The two primordial beasts could not feel pain which is why they did not care as much but they felt this foreign sensation when a large undead and a three headed black tiger attacked them.

The two primordial beasts experienced pain for the first time as their bodies are engulfed in a burning energy that has three colors. The chains that clung to the bodies of the primordial beasts burned their flesh and also slowed them down. The powerful resistances against status ailments of the primordial beasts are all rendered useless as their speed got sapped along with their health and mana.

Charon delivered all the excess health and mana towards the players which boosted them even further. All the damage they get from being cold are negated while the mana that they are burning is being replenished. The skills of the players increased more and more as they became unhindered in using their skills that have high mana costs. Adrian also benefited from this as well as his mana started to get restored back to full.

The Goddess Skadi retrieved her ice spear with a wave of her hand. When the ice spear returned to her, the pressure of the ice spear is visibly reduced as if all the power that it held has vanished. The Goddess Skadi could also be seen to have some parts of her body become faint as this was just a body she constructed from ice and snow. The ice spear was a conduit for the Goddess Skadi to remain in the mortal realm, but it lost most of its power which is why her created body is also fading as we speak.

“Hah! I was about to berate you that a goddess tried to interfere, but it seems that you will not last long as well.” The Primordial Beast of Gluttony shouted as it rose and swatted all of the players that were near it.

“Foreign beasts should not interfere with the north. You are the reason for the destruction of the balance of power. If you did not come here, then I would not have interfered. The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra would have stayed sealed, and the north would have recovered.” The Goddess Skadi declared.

“You are the one that sealed me!” The Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra shouted as its eyes became red and blasted a powerful beam of frozen light towards the Goddess Skadi.

The beam was powerful and fast that almost no one was able to react. Frey charged without any fear as her armor suddenly changed as the wolves howled as if they were venerating her. Frey’s armor that is usually made with silver and platinum suddenly transformed and had layers of ice with wolf motifs. The spear that Frey held also changed as if it evolved with her as it became a large polearm with a blue flag that has the crest of a wolf.

[Frey has activated the Blessing of the Divine Wolf Lupa.]

“All of you! Rally to me!” Frey shouted as she raised her flag high and a million silhouettes of wolves came out from it.

Some of the wolves charged towards the frozen beam and met it head on. The spell was blocked when half of the wolves were used up. The other wolves went inside the bodies of her allies and gave them a massive buff. All the players that were possessed by the wolves suddenly felt all of their senses magnify by a great degree.

[You have been possessed by a blessed wolf.]

[All stats will be increased by 20% for the remainder of the battle and as long as the Lupa Emissary is in the battlefield.]

[All of your senses are magnified by 100% for the duration.]

[Stamina consumption will be reduced by 50%.]

Like a real heroine in a story that aims to vanquish the demon king, Frey led the troops in battle as they were basically infected by her charisma. All of them fearlessly charged towards the two primordial beasts even though both of them have already recovered. The two primordial beasts started to feel even more danger as all the beings in the battlefield were out to kill them. The bloodlust of the players reached an all-time high that even the primordial beasts became pressured when they felt it.

“Tempest Crusher!” Vayu shouted as his katana wielded by the apparition behind him got clad in pure lightning.

The katana then charged towards the Primordial Beast of Gluttony. Soleil, on the other hand, made the mirror blaze as if she created a sun that descended into the world. The Primordial Beats of Gluttony commanded the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra to tank the hit from Vayu while the former will absorb the flames that Soleil created. This would have been the perfect strategy, but they forgot that the Goddess Skadi was still in the area.

The created body of the Goddess Skadi might be disappearing but that does not mean that she is long power. The Goddess Skadi tossed her ice spear, and it suddenly turned into a large wolf made of ice. This ice wolf went straight for the neck of the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra which made the latter unable to defend the Primordial Beast of Gluttony.

The large lightning katana pierced the Primordial Beast of Gluttony while the flames of Soleil burned the body of the Primordial Beast of Frozen Tundra. The power of the elementals is something that can hurt primordial beasts as they also pull natural energy from the world. The pained screams of the two primordial beasts echoed as Adrian smiled because he used all of his nether energy to buff his two team members.

“I will leave this to you brave warriors!” The Goddess Skadi stated as her created vessel finally lost all mana.
